Ifti Holiday Home 2

DennisRating, 5 stars75 months ago
Nice place. The Host Iftiquar and his family are super friendly. We enjoyed staying there. He even arranged upon request a scooter with which we drove two days throught the Knuckles. Good place to start Knuckles-Trips because you dont have to drive through Kandy for its located a little outside of Kandy. We felt very welcome all the time and recommend the place.
A simple bedroom is shown, featuring a wooden bed with a light-colored mattress and two white pillows. A small area rug is placed beside the bed, and the room is illuminated by soft lighting from a wall fixture.

Sobasee Holiday Bungalow

FlorianRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A great apartment within easy walking distance of the lake and temple. The hosts were super friendly, and the accommodation was very clean—we felt right at home and spontaneously extended our stay! Due to the thin Styrofoam gaps at the top of the walls, we occasionally heard some noise from traffic, monkeys, or between our own rooms. That said, we had no issues with mosquitoes or cold air, and we would happily book another stay with Lakmal and his wife!

We loved the lodge, indoor-outdoor living in nature, such a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, the pool was refreshing and the staff were nice. The night was full of fireflies when we were there and the sounds of the jungle. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My Paradise Homestay

ShyamRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Augusta's place is in the suburbs of Kandy. We had no difficulty reaching the place thanks to Uncle giving clear instructions to our TukTuk driver. The homestay was in the middle of a big garden full of flower plants and fruit trees. A welcome fruit drink was so refreshing after a tiring journey from Colombo. Our room was so huge with a big kingsize bed and racks to keep our clothes. The bathroom was very clean and looked recently renovated. Has a Hot water geyser. The stay is about 4 kms from Kandy in a quiet neighborhood. 5 min walk from the stay, we get local buses to Kandy City Center ( busfare LKR50). Traditional Sinhalese breakfast like hoppers, rice cakes, curry, fruit and tea was served. We had dinner for the two nights we stayed here. Yummy dinner with both veg and non-veg dishes at a very fair and reasonable price. Uncle helped with all information regarding Kandy and a nice person to talk to you. Aunty and my wife discussed a lot regarding food :) and ingredients.
