We cannot recommend Maria's place in Wanaka more! In my experience, it is not common for an Airbnb to exceed expectations, but this beautiful property did that and more! The apartment is pristine, the view unbelievable, and the very easy walk to and from town made this location a dream! It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet, truly a highlight of our time in New Zealand. We will absolutely return and hope to stay with Maria again. Thank you so much for having us!

My first words when walking into this apartment was “wow”. Immaculate with modern new furniture and spectacular views of Lake Wānaka. Incredible location. The kitchen had new appliances and had all of the necessary items to cook a nice dinner. Perfection!

TANYA was helpful and a good host clean apartment.only issue we had was water from shower has been coming out of the bathroom door ..we used towels to keep it dry. Else everything was nice and comfy.

This place is right on the edge of the lake, just a stones-throw to town. The outlook is stunning, the accommodation is so cozy and homely - it was like living in something from a magazine.

Beautiful location for a family gathering and for attending Warbirds over Wanaka. Excellent response to any problems we had- see below, the representative was really lovely and helpful. Lots of plates, cooking utensils and all sorts of other things to make the stay better. Comfortable beds and great showers. On the negative side, having travelled widely, in many country tried, I have never come across so many problems. New Zealand premises, especially those advertising themselves as luxury, need to ensure their cleaners do a much better job. The company representative should not have to apologise for insects on mattresses and windowsills, or shower drains blocked with hair.

Impressive view and fascinating house in a convenient location of Wanaka. The house is well designed and well equipped. While the water temperature is not so sable when taking showers. And one bathroom is not so proper designed.

My friend and I were in desperate need of a break to get away from it all and this place in stunning Wānaka was PERFECT! Warm, welcoming, private and peaceful, with everything we needed, the full kitchen was wonderful, access to the pool and spa a definite bonus we had a great week. Allocated parking means you don't have to worry about moving the car and everything in town was walkable - a really pleasant stroll around the lake to that Wānaka tree and the town. Cannot wait to go back!

This was a very comfortable, well equipped condo. Our rental car was too big to fit in the garage but parking was easy and convenient outside in the designated spaces. Short drive to city center and there is a sidewalk that would allow you to walk if you wanted. We could see the mountains from the patio! Great for our family.

The apartment was very clean, tidy, warm and comfortable, was decorated nicely and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and communication with Kate was great. Would happily stay there again.

Excellent stay with Kate. Her place is thoughtfully decorated with expansive mountain views and felt like home in Wanaka immediately. Great outdoor balcony overlooking the ranges which a BBQ to enjoy some food and drinks. Kate was an incredible host proactively offering baby essential items for our little one, answering questions we had within minutes, checking in to see how I stay was. The property was kept in immaculate condition, place felt brand new with modern amenities like aircon, heating in all rooms and exceptionally clean which was really important for us travelling with a baby and the wider complex had excellent amenities like tennis courts, spa and gym which was an added bonus for an Airbnb. Highly recommend and great place for a family or anyone to come back home after a day venturing in and around Wanaka

Excellent room! Very clean and cozy. It was great having a tea kettle in the room and tea offered by the host! Great place to stay for the night!

Beautiful place! Looks as good as the photos. We particularly liked the activities (spa, pool, private yard space, tennis court) and facilities (big living room, BBQ, off-street parking, well-stocked kitchen). The pool and tennis court are shared with others from nearby accommodation, but the spa is just for the house. Plenty of hand wash, shampoo/conditioner and laundry liquid was provided. It is conveniently close to Queenstown, as well as the historic little town of Arrowtown. Overall, it was a gorgeous house and a very comfortable stay.

Spacious, warm, well-appointed and comfortable. Very easy for the seven of us with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and also a third toilet. We would definitely stay here again. Albert Town is so close to Wānaka but definitely quieter.

We had a great stay at this beautiful spacious Arrowtown house. The place was clean and tidy, fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine, comfortable beds, good quality bed linen and towels, the garden and the mountain view is gorgeous . Thank you.

Fantastic home to stay - modern and perfect for our family . Loved being able to sit outside and walk / run to the lake . We used the community pool and gym which was a real added bonus . The range of items left was next level and really made our stay extra special and super easy . We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful home - thank you Suzanna and Michael.

Couldn’t ask for a more gracious host than Dean. He was so helpful and accommodating even before we arrived at his beautiful, modern home. My husband enjoyed the outdoor hot tub every morning. Everything for our comfort was available and Dean was immediately responsive when we had a question or request. Our twin teen girls joined us for 2 weeks while they were on spring break (we rented Dean’s house for the month of March) and when we asked them to name the top 3 highlights of their visit, they said: shotover jet, staying in Dean’s house, luging in Queenstown. Thanks Dean!! 5 stars all the way.

Wonderful family accomodation fully equipped with all the mod cons, lots of space, amenities (e.g. on site gym , tennis), peaceful and in a great location. Couldn’t have picked a better place to be! Kids loved it.
