Farmstay vacation rentals in Central Germany

We spent our honeymoon in the construction trailer and found exactly what we expected: A cozy, clean nest, which was designed with a lot of love, an incomparable proximity to nature and a lot of peace and privacy. The hosts were always responsive and inquired several times about our satisfaction. The sauna was easy to use and quickly got nice and warm - a dream to be able to put your legs up in the garden with the sheep between the sauna sessions. In the utility kitchen, everything you need is available (although we actually had everything for catering directly in the garden anyway), there is a fridge with drinks, juice from our own farm and eggs from the neighbors at fair prices. The area is very quiet, but historically also very exciting and in combination with bike and the ferry within walking distance, everything is easily accessible. Our highlight: the small, almost private Elbe beach directly opposite the house 💗

We all liked Andres' apartment. We were there with 8 adults and 2 young children. That was a great fit. The area is beautiful, but even in bad weather you can enjoy playing pool or using the sauna. Communication with André was great and he is very accommodating We would book the apartment again

We had only checked in for one night to celebrate a birthday. Slightly different than expected from the photo of the house, the house is located in the village and on the left and right are more houses. Behind the house is the old farm, with chickens , rabbit goats and a pretty aviary. In the summer you can also stay in the garden and eat outside at tables with benches. For an outdoor coffee, the weather was just as good. We were welcomed so warmly that we immediately felt at home. Petra is a very nice hostess. Arrival and departure were handled very accommodating, even the day before us was blocked to allow an earlier arrival. There was even a delicious birthday cake from Petra. There were also tips for things to do. The Heiligengrabe monastery is very worthwhile. Wittstock is also worth a visit. However, we could not explore much more in the short time. It was a very nice short stay.

Great place to stay with a number of people, lovely architecture. be ready to share the garden, fire pit and sauna with guests in other flats.

We felt very comfortable, especially our four-year-old son liked the stay very much. The hosts Karoline and Matthias are very child-friendly and the farm is ideal for relaxing and for a short break from city life. Everything was very clean and lovingly prepared - we will definitely be back soon.

The pictures don't do the cabin justice! The cabin is amazing and the location perfect for getting to the attractions quickly by car. We (two friends) loved the room layout and were able to sleep in separate areas. Our Corgi lady loved the garden! The sauna / infrared cabin is small, but nice. We would come back anytime!

This place was an amazing stay, we enjoyed the views and fresh air. Definitely gonna try and coma again.

A dream of house , quiet location, the amenities were excellently designed everything down to the last detail. Quick and easy communication at all times was available to Hortense and her husband. We loved the place. Super equipped. We especially liked the barrel and sauna. A big advantage is the guesthouse, which is right next to the yurt, where there is the possibility of refreshments. A little behind the yurt there is a road, from which you can hear cars here and there, but otherwise you have a concert of frogs and birds from the pond throughout your stay.😁 The owner was welcoming and helpful. Thank you and we will be happy to come back.😊👍🏾

We, 2 adults and 1 child (4 years old) enjoyed our stay here and experienced great hospitality! The small apartment is superbly equipped, clean and really offers everything you need. The location is wonderful - very rural and quiet and many activities can be reached quickly by car. There are also good walking, running and cycling trails. Highlights for our daughter were the large garden, the bunnies and chickens, the trampoline and of course the children of the family! We add fresh salad from the greenhouse, the sunny terrace and the great communication to the highlights. We all felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back!

We wanted a short break from city life and that is exactly what we got: picturesque nature in the area, wide fields, a beautiful old estate, where the apartment is located in the back, absolute silence at night, relaxing peace during the day. Henrike is a great and very nice host and the rest of her family is also very nice and helpful. We and our dog felt very much at home. We will be happy to come back!

We stayed a couple of nights at Hedwig’s place and were very happy with the accommodation and the beautiful location couldn’t have been more private and peaceful. Hedwig met us for check in and although we couldn’t speak the same language we got a thorough tour and knew exactly where things were. Hedwig’s husband bought us some bread for the kids to feed the deer which was so lovely. Hedwig recommended a restaurant up the road so we gave that a go and it was delicious. Messages were always responded to very quickly and we were very happy. The beds were comfy too!

We had a wonderful weekend in Stemwede! The outdoor kitchen is just a dream and the garden is much bigger than it appears in the pictures! That surprised me very positively. In the morning you can hear the rooster crowing, which rounded off the country feeling at breakfast on the terrace of the tiny house. 🥰 The outdoor shower is totally cute and really fun in the sunshine! My companion accidentally broke a bowl while washing up, which she was supposed to replace with €25. It would have been nice to read something like this as a note in the description, then we would have brought our own dishes for safety. Otherwise, everything was totally beautiful! :) I will definitely be back! Gerd and Kathinka are both exceptionally lovely people. I immediately felt very comfortable and am already looking forward to next time! 🥰 Thank you, dear ones, for this wonderful short break from the big city! Best regards and I hope to see you soon!

There were four of us in the accommodation and we spent an extended weekend there. We enjoyed the view of the countryside and the tranquility very much. The place is really well equipped and Alice was quick to reach, uncomplicated and accommodating. The accommodation is highly recommended, we would go back anytime!!

My daughter and I spent a long weekend in Johannes' cozy trailer. Johannes was a great host, always available and very helpful. We felt right at home and were enchanted by the sweet alpacas and goats right in front of our noses. Construction trailers and nearby sanitary cabins offer everything you need for a quiet and relaxing break for two. The property is very quiet and private and you are still in the middle of houses. The supply of delicious cheese, fresh eggs and the insanely good ice cream from the farm's own shop was also very nice! We had the bikes with us and enjoyed being able to cycle directly from the property, because the bike path starts 100m further across the field. Highly recommended are the tours to the Rothsee and Brombachsee, but also to the outdoor swimming pool. All in all, a great getaway. We will be happy to come back!

We were on site with two small children. So the large garden with the many play equipment (swings, slide, trampoline, sandbox, ...) as well as the chickens and adjacent paddock with horses were very well received. There are also some toys available in the accommodation. At any rate, there was no boredom at any time. Just perfect for a break with your family. And otherwise, the furnishings of the accommodation leave nothing to be desired. A lot of what we had brought with us was actually already available on site (salt, pepper, tabs, ...). Communication with Birgit in advance and during the stay was also very pleasant - helpful and informative. For beer lovers, the region is of course beyond any doubt. Paradise on earth. Tip: the Pottensteiner from the Mager Brewery. In short: we will be happy to come back!

Accommodation has great potential. The caravan is in a beautiful place in the garden of the house where the owners live. Sheep graze on one side, cows on the other. There is an unforgettable sunset, fresh air, beautiful outdoor seating and a place for a fire. There is a gas stove in the caravan. You have to bring water from outside in a canister. The shower is only outdoor and cold, which can be a problem for many people today, especially in bad weather. The toilet is a short distance from the caravan in a wooden booth, dry, but does not smell. The owners' garden is not separated from the caravan in any way and the owners have a dog, which can also be a problem for some guests with pets, fortunately we did not mind, the dogs tolerated each other relatively well. For us, the only problem is the considerable waterlogging of the lawn on the plot where the caravan is located, in places even puddles, mud, and it was not raining at all. You can't get there without boots or rubber boots. And also without a headlamp.

Beautiful quiet place, with awesome nature all around. Stunning comfortable house, full equipment. I felt like at home. The lady owner was very helpful and nice. I recommend it.

Perfect for groups who want to spend a weekend together in peace. The house is equipped with everything you might need and above all the garden with many seating areas and terraces is impressive. Ossi is a top host who sent all the important information and tips in advance and answered questions immediately and easily.

Cathrin is a great host. Very responsive and ready to help. Her place is very nice. And the garden is breathtaking. I would describe it as a two bedroom apartment with a nice beautiful loft that can function as a third bedroom. The space that is listed as a third bedroom is a couch in the kitchen area. If you are traveling with little kids this might function well for you but we were three adults and everyone needed some privacy. We solved the problem by using the beautiful loft area as a third bedroom and all was good. Overall, good experience.

La Casita - small house, very big! We enjoyed the 3 days and 2 nights to the fullest, we lacked nothing! Susanne was a great hostess. Everything was as described. Sweet as a starting point for tours in the region was ideal for us. Eisenach is close and was worth the trip anyway.

Our short vacation with Rainer and his family was very pleasant! We felt very welcome. The farm is lovingly maintained, we were able to move freely throughout the area. The apartment is really big and well equipped, even for our little daughter (11M) everything was there. We felt comfortable and would be happy to come back!

The stay was exactly as we imagined it to be. Get out into the green with a beautiful garden, lake access and some lakes around the corner. The sauna was a dream, just like the fireplace that simply brings in great warmth and coziness. Unfortunately, we only had one night stay at this beautiful place and would be happy to come back 🙃
