Apartment vacation rentals in Central Athens Regional Unit

We were very happy to be back at Spiros’s place again after our holiday to Naxos and Paros. It’s the fifth time we have stayed and it was such a lovely end to our vacation. We loved sitting out on the rooftop looking at the Acropolis, eating out in wonderful restaurants and absorbing the history and culture of Athens. Spiros was so kind and friendly - he even bought us a bottle of wine and chocolates at the end of our stay. I highly recommend Spiros’s place - it’s clean, comfortable and right in the centre of the Plaka. You won’t find a better rooftop terrace in the whole of Athens! Thank you Spiros and we look forward to coming again for our holidays next year.

Stefania was SO incredibly accommodating and let me check in earlier since I was coming from a morning flight. She made feel so safe and comfortable (I was a solo traveler). I loved the balcony, I used the clothing dry rack after doing my laundry (on the same block), and the clothing iron. Ear plugs were available, but as a New Yorker I was fully prepared with my own for potential street noise. Air conditioning was reliable and a relief. Hot water for shower was also nice. The location is a few blocks away from the Acropolis Museum and the restaurants, there are so many people walking around at night. My time in Athens was brief, but I crammed in as much as I could with the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and Plaka. I will definitely be back. She made sure I had a taxi to take me to the airport since I didn't realize the metro was closed during the time I needes to get to the airport. She really cares about your happiness and time in Athens. I like living like a local w/ Airbnb

Parfait. Konstantinos est très attentionné. Il est toujours joignable. Et que dire de l'appartement ? Fantastique, vue extraordinaire. 25 min à pieds de l'Acropole. Nous nous en souviendrons longtemps.

Absolutely love this chic apartment. Clean, cozy . Perfect location. Close to everything. Very walkable and safe neighborhood.

Aikaterini was not only very responsive and gave clear instructions for check-in and check-out, but she also allowed us to check in early to accommodate flight times. There was a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom for our arrival. Overall, great host and place to stay with only a 15-20 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Central Plaza.

Alexandros was always very responsive and positive in his communications. He even contacted us when he learned about a taxi strike that would have affected our departure and he found us another ride to the airport. I highly recommend his spot in Plaka, which is on a quiet side street and walkable to everything we wanted to see/do.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. It’s a lovely large flat with all antique furniture and decorated with fine art, rugs, and decorative items mostly made of silver glass. It was very pleasant to spend the week here and we enjoyed the small balcony off the bedroom that looks out on an internal garden. The apartment doesn’t get much direct sunlight so we needed the lights on during the daytime, but there was plenty of lamps and overhead lighting so it wasnt dark. The bathroom is a large size and it also has a washer and tumble dryer. The down side was that the checkin was time consuming. I had to sign a sign a lease and an inventory of the items present. The inventory was 60+ items long and not all of it was straightforward to identify. Some items on the inventory were missing so I had to contact the host. She said I had been given the old inventory and to cross out the missing items. The inventory also declared everything was in perfect condition which I had to also cross out.

The place is beautiful, there's a lot to do around your area as well. The host was very communicative and was available when needed

Excellent séjour dans ce très bel appartement. Nous avons apprécié la qualité (et la propreté !) des lieux et la vue magnifique sur le Parthénon. La communication avec Maria était très fluide et claire. Bref, on recommande chaudement ce lieu pour visiter Athènes !

Marilena’s apartment is a dream. Beautifully decorated, it’s everything you could want in an Airbnb. The area is super easy to walk to most things with lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, but the street itself is quiet. Marilena was so helpful with recommendations and an early check in. We loved it!

This was a stunning apartment in a vibrant neighborhood. The amazing view of the Acropolis was breathtaking and memorable. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt right at home. We will definitely be booking this place again.

New, Modern and clean! Great balcony too and the hosts were really helpful. However, even though i did not have any issue, the neighborhod is not considered a very good one

The description and previous reviews do not exaggerate! We loved so much about this flat: the view, location, communicative host, the view, the size, wonderful hot water in shower, the view, close to many restaurants, and did we mention the view? Seriously, we highly recommend Peter's flat in Athens. Book it as soon as you read this!

We had an amazing time at this air bnb! The views from the terrace are unmatched and our host Victor was extremely accommodating for us. Our flight landed so early and we had nowhere to place our bags so he let us drop them off and hang out on the terrace while they prepped our suite. It’s walkable to everything in the city and close to the metro so it’s easy to get to and from the airport. We loved it here and would definitely stay again!

It was an incredible home base for our stay in Athens. It was in a central, walkable location which made getting around super easy. We never had to use the metro. Plus, you never get tired of the view. The host was super kind, friendly, and gave us some killer recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked.

Incredible place to stay! The home has so much space and is filled with luxury items and accents to utilize and enjoy during your stay. But the real show stopper is the view from the balcony — a clear view of the acropolis! Me and my family stayed here for one night before we flew out early and are sad we didn’t know about it when we stayed for a week last week. It’s so walkable, so spacious, and has all the amenities you could ever want and need. the only two things that kept my review from being all 5s is that the lock boxes to get the keys were challenging to open (minor but still an inconvenience) and the couch had quite a few stains on them so we laid towels down (easy to fix). would highly recommend staying here and next time i’m in athens, ill definitely be here again!

The apartment was beautifully decorated. Alfiario met us at the apartment and explained how everything worked and gave lots of helpful restaurant recommendations . She even arranged the airport transfers which made everything seemless. Thank you soo much!!

Location, location, location. 1/2 block from the main square. It’s very busy but you can walk to everything. View from balcony of the Acropolis is from the side but it’s still great. We walked in different directions every day. Many, many restaurants, taverns everywhere. Check out the rooftop restaurant right on the corner. You enter the elevators right near the subway. Worth the stop. If you’re up to it, walk a number of blocks away from the main tourist areas or grab the subway (right next door)to find restaurants with better bang for the buck. We took the subway out when we left, super easy to do even with luggage and straight to the airport. The host was very helpful and very responsive.

Arrived in evening & found entrance was at far end of road which was uphill. Taxis were on strike day we arrived after a 45 minute walk 😢. We should’ve caught the Metro. Keyless entry system worked fine. Wi-Fi worked well. Tried local restaurant the 1st evening, recommended & cheap. Apartment had all amenities except a microwave which we didn’t need. Spotlessly clean & & photos are accurate. Nice complimentary bottle of wine & water on arrival. Jacuzzi on patio was lovely. Text communication with Panagiotis was excellent & he messaged several times to ensure we were OK. Used local metro at bottom of hill which is great to get into central Athens & only €1.20 a journey. Uber is about €7. Breakfast in morning on back patio is lovely as sun rises with distant view of Acropolis. Nice to sit on front balcony at end of day watching sun set. Panagiotis was so helpful with any text communication. Would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Yannis and Tax, miss Flora who was super helpful and this amazing airbnb. not only we were able to drop our luggage early but we were allowed to check in early and felt right at home. they have us so many great recommendations and even hooked us up with a local taxi driver to take us to the ferry after check out. we will 100% return and recommend this place to anyone! thank you guys for everything

Such a beautiful Airbnb. Best part is the hot tub actually gets hot, not just lukewarm (which i’ve noticed a lot of other hot tubs in Greece are only lukewarm) so that was a plus. Very modern setup and the view was great. Unfortunately I was very sick during my stay, but Jeff and Katerina were so nice and responsive and even helped us get a taxi to the ER, and checked in on us throughout the day. Truly such great hospitality and we are so appreciative for all of the help that they provided for us. Any question we had they responded to us right away with such helpful advice. Thank you so much for everything ♥️♥️
