Whatever criteria is involved in the "Superhost" badge, Ana and Teresa surely deserve it. We never felt so welcome. Teresa greeted us warmly with local delicacies and was easily reachable and very fast to respond while respectful of our privacy. In addition to being very comfortable, the house is so spotless, well equipped and organized, it left us impressed. We were provided with ample complimentary kitchen and bathroom supplies like shampoo, soaps, coffee etc The patio and pool-side seating areas are lovely to spend time enjoying the sun or fresh air under a parasol. The kitchen is a dream. Between the appliances, utensils and dinnerware and the gas stove, you won't want to go back to your kitchen. We made good use of the AC and fans in the unseasonably warm weather when we were not in the pool, which was cleaned every day and so warm from being exposed to the sun all day. We are eager to come back and enjoy the clear skies above Casa da Regadinha and Ana and Teresa's hospitality.

We hat a wonderful time at Susanas house. We stayed with 6 persons for one week. The house and especially the kitchen was well equipped and was located in a nice, small and very quiet village. The local people were very kind and helped us to find the house. The area is special - as you can have nice walks in the Sierra Estrella or enjoy swimming in the nearby river in the Praia Fluvial Vale do Mondego. Within 10mins car drive you have shopping opportunities in Celorico de Beira. Communication with Susana was always super easy, nice, and helpful. We enjoyed the stay and can definitely recommend the house and area, best wishes Marc

Die Unterkunft liegt zusammen mit einem benachbarten Gebäude an einer kleinen Straße, die in die Berge und als Abkürzung auf die ca 600 m weiter oberhalb liegende Hauptstraße führt. Trotz geöffnetem Fenster war das nicht sehr störend.. Das Appartement liegt auf zwei Ebenen im Untergeschoss. Vor der Eingangstür befindet sich ein kleiner privater Hof mit Grill und Sitzplätzen/Tisch. Das Kfz kann auf dem Grundstück abgestellt werden ( oberhalb des kleinen Hofes). Der Pool ist jederzeit zugänglich, war schon warm (ist aber nicht beheizt), ist sehr groß und war sehr sauber. Es gibt Liegen am Pool und man hat eine tolle Aussicht. Kleiner Supermarkt im Dorf (sehr freundlicher Eigentümer!) und einige Lokale in der Nähe.

Absolutely enchanted by our stay! The village exudes authenticity, and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. The home provided the perfect sanctuary for a peaceful and calm retreat. Highly recommended!

We loved it here! Rosa and Joao made us feel like family. Rosa is incredibly knowledgeable of the Village and the surrounding areas. The animals are friendly, you can walk through the areas without fear. The goats, Lemon (the donkey), Boss the puppy and so much more. Rosa should be the Mayor, she knows everyone and her friendly personality makes the entire Village glow. We were introduced to all the friendly people of the Aldeia Fuinhas. Rosa shared her knowledge of the cheese making process, I have new cheese making skills. The hostess with the mostest provided good wine, tasty orange cake, plenty of good herbal teas, the garden is bright and well maintained. I had a refreshing dip in the super clean pool on a hot day. Casa da Aldeia is a magical place for all ages to enjoy the surroundings and the Animals. You can find Joao or their friendly neighbor Joaquin milking the goats twice daily. You will love to see this fresh milk production; say cheese. We will see you again Rosa & Joao

Espaço muito bem localizado, no centro histórico da cidade. Casa com vista para a Sé Catedral. Fácil estacionamento por detrás da Sé. Apartamento limpo e acolhedor.

As fotos não fazem jus à beleza e à área do casarão! Espaço muito bonito, com várias áreas de lazer, pátios interiores, decorado com muito bom gosto! A zona onde está a piscina, (a 500 metros do alojamento, num parque muito bonito) é enorme, com trampolins, baloiços, camas de rede e mesas para refeições. A localização de Juncais é perfeita para passeios a outras localidades da Serra. Adorámos!

Ana Maria a tout fait pour bien m accueillir . En voyage de faro vers la France cette halte a été un vrai bonheur pour se reposer. Elle a vraiment été super, merci pour cet accueil chaleureux . Le logement est dans le quartier ancien c est très joli . Je recommande vivement Ana Maria et ce logement .

The place was better than expected. Joao and Susana make sure you feel at home, weither it is in communication or in the well equipped house with attention to detail. (In real everything was more beatiful than in the pictures). The farm is situated in between small hills, far from city busyness into a calm oases. We recommend taking a walk up the hill behind the house untill the top, it's an easy walk with an amazing view. You need a car to get there, for dinner you would have to drive 15-30 minutes (or ofcourse cook at home). Google often says a place is open, but often it is not :) Susana can give you the right places. There were cats walking around which was a big plus for us. They show you the way around a bit and they ofcourse like the attention. Unfortunately for us the weather was too cold for a good swim, but the pool is quite big and we would love to return to try it for a little bit longer ;)! We were surprised by this place in a good way, it's another beautiful part of Portugal and staying at Joao and Susanas place, makes it perfect.

We very much enjoyed our four night stay at Vitor’s comfortable, spacious and well-appointed first floor apartment, located only a short downhill walk from the historic centre. The three bedrooms were light and airy, and both the kitchen and the two bathrooms were equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. Internet connectivity was excellent. From the large private terrace, there are great views of the city. There are a large number of parking spaces in the adjacent square, and a free one can usually be found without difficulty. Vitor responded quickly whenever I messaged him, and provided us with helpful information when there was a lengthy power cut. We would certainly consider staying at his apartment again were we to revisit Guarda, the highest city in Portugal, and can recommend it warmly.
