Rosa and her husband are lovely people and very helpful with whatever you need. The house has everything needed for a long stay and the surrounding countryside is breathtakingly beautiful. The drive to Trancoso is stunning and I could do it every day and not get bored. Highly recommend for short or long stays.

The property is located together with a neighboring building on a small road that leads to the mountains and as a shortcut to the main road about 600 m further above. Despite the window open, this was not very disruptive. The apartment is on two levels in the basement. In front of the front door is a small private yard with barbecue and seating/table. The car can be parked on the property ( above the small courtyard). The pool is accessible at all times, was already warm (but not heated), is very large and was very clean. There are loungers by the pool and you have a great view. Small supermarket in the village (very friendly owner!) and some places nearby.

We had a great time at Clarinda's place. The rental is as described. Even though the owners only spoke Portuguese, they did everything possible to facilitate our exchanges. Parking is easy and totally secure, we were able to fully enjoy the outdoors of the apartment and a small nearby river allows you to cool off. We would totally recommend this rental.

A repeat experience! I was previously contacted if we learned the time of entry to the house and when we arrived home there was a super cozy temperature in every division. Linda made a point of leaving a basket of products from the area that were wonderful. The super-equipped kitchen, like everything needed for a stay and family and friends. The whole dwelling was well taken care of, clean and with various details that made us feel at home.

The tiny house is located in the middle of nature on a large piece of land with a vegetable garden, fruit garden, a deer pasture and lots of forest. You will relax here. The hospitality of the owners contribute even further, as well as the sweet heritage dogs. It is a tiny house so it is not spacious, but what you need is there. Especially if you use this place - like us - as a base to discover the beautiful surroundings. In the town of Guarda there are all the amenities you may need, but otherwise it is little. But Fernando is visibly enjoying telling us what the beauty is. And that's a lot!

Place is great in a quiet location in the countryside with good ammenities including pool and outdoor seating. The third bed option could be a bit more comfy (pull out bed) but otherwise everything was wonderful. João is a really friendly host and allowed us to pick blueberries for breakfast which were delicious. Recommend staying here!

The location and property are beautiful. The day we stayed there was very warm but nice and cool in the place. We were swimming in the river where we could walk and the pool was also used. On our departure, we even got something to eat with us. A great place to stay, with a very nice and helpful host!!!

The house, with extra care in the details, is very comfortable, clean and central to the tours we have programmed. The salamander fire kept the house in a very pleasant temperature when we counted on 5 degrees in the street and wind to cut. Mr Bernardino was so helpful and gave us recommendations for places to visit. The internet in the village is weak. Adding the fact that the vodafone network is non-existent, it makes it a perfect place to rest, but not to work online. We have already thought of returning because soon they will open the Walkways of Mondego, with one of the entrances 10 minutes walk from the house.

The place was better than expected. Joao and Susana make sure you feel at home, weither it is in communication or in the well equipped house with attention to detail. (In real everything was more beatiful than in the pictures). The farm is situated in between small hills, far from city busyness into a calm oases. We recommend taking a walk up the hill behind the house untill the top, it's an easy walk with an amazing view. You need a car to get there, for dinner you would have to drive 15-30 minutes (or ofcourse cook at home). Google often says a place is open, but often it is not :) Susana can give you the right places. There were cats walking around which was a big plus for us. They show you the way around a bit and they ofcourse like the attention. Unfortunately for us the weather was too cold for a good swim, but the pool is quite big and we would love to return to try it for a little bit longer ;)! We were surprised by this place in a good way, it's another beautiful part of Portugal and staying at Joao and Susanas place, makes it perfect.

The Host ensured an excellent communication and the lady who received us (Mrs. Silvina) overflows sympathy. We were still entitled to some miminhos, which were cherry on cake. Nuno, through Lugar da Borralheira, transformed the Easter of the Rocha family. Everything impeccable, from the instructions for the house to the places of interest. Everything was done in a super easy and accessible way. At home, everything was beyond expectations, because when you enter you know you're at ease and that Nuno is always ready to help. Nuno was always available at all times to make things easier, from instructions for the house, to serving as a guide at various points of interest. I definitely recommend this stay. The area where the pool is located (500 meters from the accommodation, in a very nice park) is huge, with trampolines, swings, hammocks and dining tables. Juncais' location is perfect for trips to other locations in the Serra. We loved it!
