Great place in cool neighborhood. Lots of coffee cafes, restaurants, shops,etc. and close to Taskim Square. Tram or walking to Galata, shopping or over to Asian side. Good size apartment. Plenty of grocery available and the street is quiet and quaint. Deniz and Derya were both very responsive hosts and great to work with. Would recommend

Brilliant place, very helpful hosts

Really enjoyed my stay in Neriman’s apartment. The flat is perfectly situated right next to Galata Tower, with incredible views across Istanbul from the roof terrace. Neriman is a super responsive host, who met me when I arrived, showing me around the building and teaching me how to make Turkish Coffee. All in all would highly recommend the apartment for anyone looking for a great stay in and around Galata.

Le logement était comme dans l’annonce, accessible et propre. On a juste eu un problème par rapport aux froids. Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas dans une des pièces mais il a été changé donc problème réglé. Du froid et un peu de bruit rentrant car les fenêtres ne sont pas bien isolé. Sinon le logement était correct ✅ Le propriétaire est très réactif. Je recommande!

Best of the best place to stay in Istanbul

Firat was a great host and met us at his apartment as we left the taxi. Taxi from the airport cost about 1500 tl depending on how busy the traffic is. The apartment was just as described and spotlessly clean. Although the apartment is a few kilometers from old Istanbul, this never presented a problem as there were many bus options from the bus station (Kurtulus) 5/6 min walk away. I recommend getting a Istanbulkarte at the airport as we couldn't find a machine to buy one nearby. There is a very long shopping street which starts at the bus station and contains every shop imaginable including a Super Carrefour supermarket. Walking to Taksim Square takes about 30 mins but be prepared for steep hills. We did the walk a few times and we are both pensioners. If in Istanbul again we would have no hesitation in booking Firat's apartment again.

About the host: Dilek was a fantastic host who was responsive no matter the time of day or night. She was quick to respond to every query I had including how to get around and use local transport. We even had a minor issue and Dileks husband Suat rushed in to help us out with it. They never let us feel like we were on our own. The Apartment: One of the most beautiful and artistic apartments I’ve ever stayed it. It was bigger than it looked in the photos and was so tastefully done in terms of interiors. Amenities: Tons of amenities and crockery, The most amazing parts of the room: Almost everything to be honest. - the massive terrace - the walk in closet that is fabulous for luggage storage and for changing - the washroom is absolutely well done too. Location: Very close to most points of interest. Walk downwards and you head to the tram station. Walk upwards you enter a lovely street for restaurants and bars, 15-20 mins walk to the main areas Conclusion: Highly recommend

It was a real pleasure to stay at your place during our visit to Istanbul. The place is very nice and very clean, and there’s all we needed during our stay. Very close to everything shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions just 5min walk to the blue mosque and hagia Sofia mosque. The place has two floors and makes it like two apartments in one and this was great for us, we stayed in one floor with the kids and gave the second floor to my mom and my niece who came with us. The host was very professional, polite and very helpful. He provided a great service he organised the taxi for us from and to the airport and even walked us through the nearby area and showed us the better shops and restaurants and the different shortcuts to get to centre. Thanks a million for everything and we really appreciate!!

Tao’s home is a charming entire house with a private entrance, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. If you're a fan of Orhan Pamuk's novels, you'll recognize the area, and you'll be pleased to know that the Museum of Innocence actually exists and is located nearby. The house itself is full of character and unique details. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed traveling with a young child. There are three floors to navigate: the kitchen, dining area, and a shower are located on the ground floor, while the entrance, two bedrooms and a toilet are on the first floor. The second floor features the third bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Additionally, the entrance has a few steps as well. Tao is a very sweet, friendly and thoughtful host, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Communication was seamless, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Berk is such a lovely host! So helpful and was always there if we needed anything at all. The place itself was lovely, close by to everything and clean with extra supplies if if we needed anything :) would definitely come back

Room very neat, 2 big bed 1 single bed , location very near to Galata, karakoy, Taksim. Host is very friendly behaviour . Only challenge we face toilet water pressure .. (manageable)..me and my family had a wonderful stay…. Host is very caring and quick response .. you will not get disappointed ..

Das Viertel ist alt und unsicher, oft sitzen Betrunkene am Eingang. Für Familien ungeeignet, aber vielleicht okay für Singles. Die Wohnung war sauber, wir haben immer abgeschlossen. Mustafa ist nett und gastfreundlich, aber die Lage ist schlecht.

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location. We went to Istanbul to walk/explore and eat and this beautiful place was in a very quiet, yet central location. James was extremely helpful and gave us loads of recommendations which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place.

Well located , clean and quiet. The perfect match to discover this area walking up and coming down. The Hamman , sauna and the pool are a big plus for rainy days.

We loved our stay in the apartment, felt like home, great view, friendly host, bus 100 m from apt directly to Hagia Sofia - Grand Bazzar area. Lots of shops, places to eat and life of Istanbul all around the apartment. We had a parking spot assured. Would recommend and re-book it.

Beautiful apartments. Everything is very clean. It smelled of wonderful perfume. All the furniture is new. It was very nice to receive a welcome basket. There was always hot water. Very comfortable bed. There is a washing machine with a dryer - very quiet. An amazing owner who answered all the questions. The owner of the apartment was always in touch and was very kind, and she also sent detailed instructions with photos and videos. I will definitely come back to this beautiful apartment when I'm in Istanbul again! Thank you very much, Berrak!

het appartement is prachtig, heel gezellig, een echt thuis. goede uitvalsbasis midden in het stadsrumoer. heerlijke douche, twee ruime slaapkamers, ruime woonkamer. in het weekend is er savonds wel muziek te horen. geen dreunende techno ofzo maar wij hadden een liveconcert met turkse fluit en gezang. best mooi. dat moet je dus niet erg vinden. vanaf een uur of 1 is het stil.

The location was ideal—close to public transportation, great cafes, and some of the main attractions, but still in a quiet neighborhood that let us wind down peacefully at night. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and making sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul—especially families or groups looking for comfort, space, and a great location. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip!

너무 편안하고 경치도 좋고 숙소도 좋아서 더 있고 싶었습니다! 하지만 일정때문에 더 머물지 못해 아쉽지만 나중에 근처 방문하게 되면 믿고 다시 예약할 수 있을 것 같습니다
