The place exceeded my expectations. It's a super cozy place that makes you feel at home. Kindness is in the air throughout the house. The generosity of Mrs. Ysabel is worth noting. She helped at all times. I was able to get to know wonderful places thanks to her recommendations, in addition to having a delicious breakfast in the morning. The room is provided with wonderful lighting (waking up and seeing the sunlight through the window is a pleasure) and is an excellent size. The accommodation is just a five-minute walk from the Yanahuara viewpoint and other beautiful landscapes. I was able to walk to the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa (round trip) without any problem. I'm sure I'll be back. One of the best experiences I've had on Airbnb. I highly recommend it.

The view of Plaza de Armas was breathtaking, offering a stunning backdrop whether we were enjoying morning coffee or unwinding at dusk. The rooms were impeccably clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner was a joy—warm, welcoming, and always ready with local tips or a friendly chat. Juana was equally wonderful, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. We’ve had a wonderful stay at this historic but fully renovated place in the heart of the old town. The central squire and all tourist attractions are just a couple of blocks away but the thick white volcanic rock walls of the building shield the heat and noise away. The inner courtyard and garden offer a refreshing refuge from the busyness of the street. The room was just beautiful, with high vaulted ceiling, lots of space, comfortable bedding and roomy shower. The staff, including Ana herself, were super attentive and caring. We just loved it, couldn’t recommend higher!

A terrace table is set for breakfast under clear skies, featuring an omelet, fresh bread, and condiments. A view of the surrounding mountains is visible, complemented by a pitcher of drink and a small basket of food. Natural greenery surrounds the dining area.

Great place, just a block from the plaza de armas and awesome hospitality. There are many grocery stores, restaurants, and nightlife is very much alive here. We were able to hear the partying from a near by night club, the music went on all night, but it didn’t bother us at all. Might not be for you if you’re a light sleeper. Other than that, it’s a great value. Recommended for sure.

Stay here for the location, it's perfect. Fast WiFi, hot showers, clean rooms. As others have noted, the photos don’t match the room you might be assigned. I initially got a ground-floor room with a window facing a wall, so there was no natural daylight. I requested to change my room and paid an additional 120 sols ($30 USD) to "upgrade," but the new room, also on the ground floor had frosted windows—still with very limited daylight. The ground floor rooms also pick up all the street noise. Despite this, it’s a great place overall. I’d just recommend avoiding ground-floor rooms. I'll also add that they do not offer laundry service.

We loved our stay at Bella AQP! It was so clean & comfortable and INCREDIBLY close to all the main city attractions! The staff was so kind and very accommodating to any & all of our needs! The rooftop terrace is very unique and much better than we expected! The complementary breakfast was delicious as well - We will definitely be returning to stay here again!

Jeine Maria’s place was beautiful, clean and very cozy. Room and bathroom were spotless. Very close to city center and also very safe to walk at night. Breakfast in terrace with a beautiful city view is a highlight. I would recommend this place and I will definitely return when I come back to Arequipa.

A really beautiful place, you can go as a couple or as a family, comfortable, you don't feel the intense cold of the Colca, cute and pleasant. Top notch attention, Elar is an excellent host. He is always on the lookout and gives you a lot of guidance throughout your stay. Exquisite food. delicious Peruvian dishes of excellent quality. We hiked from Cabanaconde to San Juan via Sangalle and Melata. We enjoyed our stay at Rivelino's place for one night before we hiked back to Cabanaconde via Mirador San Miguel. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. We sat in the balcony for a beer and a hummingbird flew in. The place was peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were available. Simple rustic delicious food. We think it was Rivelino's family (wife, son and daughter) who looked after us during our stay, and they were all very friendly, helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at Angely's home. The appartement is in Yanahuara district, about 7 minutes (by taxi) far away from plaza de armas. The room was spacious and new (good beds), we had our own huge bathroom and even a living room. Everything was tidy and clean. Angely was a great host. She was always there for us; we could call her at any time; we got breakfast; she even picked us up from the bus station. We can definetely recommend to stay here.

Jose Luis always showed himself as a very friendly person. Unfortunately upon arrival in Arequipa. We noticed that the site is located very far from the tourist area, so we decided to stay somewhere else. If you are like us and prefer something more central, maybe you should evaluate another option.

Our stay at Cecilia's was really nice. She responded quickly and was flexible concerning our time of arrival and check-out. Cecilia is a very kind person and invited us for a family tea/dinner and we had some nice conversation. Everything was sparkling clean and we could use the washer. There also is an adorable french bulldog lady with puppies. Cecilia organised safe parking for our van close by. We would definitely stay with Cecilia again!

The place is very cute, you live the experience of living in a historical monument. It is central, very close to Plaza de Armas and pedestrian promenade, there are fences, pharmacies and various businesses. It is quite clean, the bathroom in the room is impeccable, as well as the bedding and the room in general, in addition the place is quite nice and friendly.

carol provides a very good quality hotel room. We slept on the quiet parking side. We had a car that we were able to park in the hotel parking lot but the host offers transportation service for those arriving by plane. Walking distance to historic center.

Our stay was fantastic. Located in a quiet area and close to the main square. Everything was very clean, tidy and they paid special attention to the details. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Kontiki Lodge is in the rural village of Yangue. It is a lovely lodge with rooms overlooking a pretty garden and mountains in the distance. The staff are friendly and the meals are freshly prepared with local ingredients. Rulian is an amazing host.He is really friendly and will organise trips for you. A great place for Colca Canyon trips.Highly recommended
