El lugar superó mis espectativas. Es un sitio súper acogedor que hace que uno se sienta en casa. La amabilidad se respira en toda la dimensión de la casa. La generosidad de la Sra. Ysabel es algo para destacar. Prestó ayuda a toda hora. Pude conocer lugares maravillosos gracias a sus recomendaciones, además de contar con un riquísimo desayuno por la mañana. La habitación está provista de una iluminación maravillosa (despertar y ver la luz del sol a través de la ventana es todo un placer) y cuenta con excelente tamaño. El hospedaje se encuentra apenas a cinco minutos a pie del mirador de Yanahuara y de otros hermosos paisajes. Pude ir caminando hasta la plaza de Armas de Arequipa (ida y vuelta) sin ningún problema. Estoy seguro que volveré. Una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en Airbnb. Lo súper recomiendo.

Me encantó mucho! Todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado, lo que nos hizo sentir a mi mamá y a mi muy cómodas desde el primer momento. El jardín es muy hermoso con muchas flores y frutos, transmite mucha paz. Agradecemos mucho la amabilidad de Hilde, siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos con las dudas. :)

Every dish was prepared with such care, making each meal a highlight. The view of Plaza de Armas was breathtaking, offering a stunning backdrop whether we were enjoying morning coffee or unwinding at dusk. The rooms were impeccably clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner was a joy—warm, welcoming, and always ready with local tips or a friendly chat. Juana was equally wonderful, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their genuine care made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! For amazing food, gorgeous views, and heartfelt hospitality, Waya Lookout is a must-stay!

We’ve had a wonderful stay at this historic but fully renovated place in the heart of the old town. The central squire and all tourist attractions are just a couple of blocks away but the thick white volcanic rock walls of the building shield the heat and noise away. The inner courtyard and garden offer a refreshing refuge from the busyness of the street. The room was just beautiful, with high vaulted ceiling, lots of space, comfortable bedding and roomy shower. The staff, including Ana herself, were super attentive and caring. We just loved it, couldn’t recommend higher!

A terrace table is set for breakfast under clear skies, featuring an omelet, fresh bread, and condiments. A view of the surrounding mountains is visible, complemented by a pitcher of drink and a small basket of food. Natural greenery surrounds the dining area.

Great place, just a block from the plaza de armas and awesome hospitality. There are many grocery stores, restaurants, and nightlife is very much alive here. We were able to hear the partying from a near by night club, the music went on all night, but it didn’t bother us at all. Might not be for you if you’re a light sleeper. Other than that, it’s a great value. Recommended for sure.

Stay here for the location, it's perfect. Fast WiFi, hot showers, clean rooms. As others have noted, the photos don’t match the room you might be assigned. I initially got a ground-floor room with a window facing a wall, so there was no natural daylight. I requested to change my room and paid an additional 120 sols ($30 USD) to "upgrade," but the new room, also on the ground floor had frosted windows—still with very limited daylight. The ground floor rooms also pick up all the street noise. Despite this, it’s a great place overall. I’d just recommend avoiding ground-floor rooms. I'll also add that they do not offer laundry service.

We loved our stay at Bella AQP! It was so clean & comfortable and INCREDIBLY close to all the main city attractions! The staff was so kind and very accommodating to any & all of our needs! The rooftop terrace is very unique and much better than we expected! The complementary breakfast was delicious as well - We will definitely be returning to stay here again!

Jeine Maria’s place was beautiful, clean and very cozy. Room and bathroom were spotless. Very close to city center and also very safe to walk at night. Breakfast in terrace with a beautiful city view is a highlight. I would recommend this place and I will definitely return when I come back to Arequipa.

Un lugar realmente hermoso, puedes ir en pareja o en familia, cómodo, limpio, no se siente el frío intenso del Colca, lindo y agradable. Una atención de primera , Elar es un excelente anfitrión. siempre está pendiente y te orienta mucho durante toda tu estancia. La comida exquisita. deliciosos platos peruanos y de excelente calidad. Sin duda deben ir a este rinconcito maravilloso en Arequipa. Mil gracias por todo.

We hiked from Cabanaconde to San Juan via Sangalle and Melata. We enjoyed our stay at Rivelino's place for one night before we hiked back to Cabanaconde via Mirador San Miguel. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. We sat in the balcony for a beer and a hummingbird flew in. The place was peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were available. Simple rustic delicious food. We think it was Rivelino's family (wife, son and daughter) who looked after us during our stay, and they were all very friendly, helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at Angely's home. The appartement is in Yanahuara district, about 7 minutes (by taxi) far away from plaza de armas. The room was spacious and new (good beds), we had our own huge bathroom and even a living room. Everything was tidy and clean. Angely was a great host. She was always there for us; we could call her at any time; we got breakfast; she even picked us up from the bus station. We can definetely recommend to stay here.

Jose Luis siempre se mostro como una persona muy amable, lastimosamente al llegar a Arequipa nos dimos cuenta que el sitio esta ubicado muy lejos de la zona turistica por lo que decisimos quedarnos en otra parte, si eres como nosotros y prefieres algo mas central tal vez deberias evaluar otra opcion.

Our stay at Cecilia's was really nice. She responded quickly and was flexible concerning our time of arrival and check-out. Cecilia is a very kind person and invited us for a family tea/dinner and we had some nice conversation. Everything was sparkling clean and we could use the washer. There also is an adorable french bulldog lady with puppies. Cecilia organised safe parking for our van close by. We would definitely stay with Cecilia again!

El lugar es muy lindo, vives la experiencia de vivir en un monumento histórico. Es céntrico, queda muy cerca de la plaza de armas y del paseo peatonal, hay restaurantes cercas, farmacias y negocios varios. Es bastante limpio, el baño de la habitación impecable, al igual que la ropa de cama y la habitación en general, además el lugar es bastante bonito y amigable.

carol prpose une chambre d'hotel de tres bonne qualité. Nous avons dormit coté parking sans bruit. Nous avions une voiture que nous avons pu garer dans le parking de l'hotel mais l'hôte propose un service de transport pour ceux qui arrivent par avions. Centre historique completement accessible à pied.

Nuestra estancia fue fantástica. Ubicado en una zona tranquila y cerca de la plaza de armas. Todo estuvo muy limpio, ordenado y tuvieron especial atencion en los detalles. El personal fue muy agradable y servicial.

Kontiki Lodge is in the rural village of Yangue. It is a lovely lodge with rooms overlooking a pretty garden and mountains in the distance. The staff are friendly and the meals are freshly prepared with local ingredients. Rulian is an amazing host.He is really friendly and will organise trips for you. A great place for Colca Canyon trips.Highly recommended
