We had the most incredible stay at this home in Cathkin. The furnishings are absolutely beautiful—stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully selected. Every detail has been carefully considered and the home had ever we needed and more. But the real highlight is the view—breathtaking doesn’t even begin to describe it. Whether you’re relaxing on the porch or enjoying a meal inside, the scenery is always spectacular. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with all the comforts of a high-end retreat. We’ll definitely be back!

The place was beautifully decorated and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was so much to do in the area, from outdoor activities to exploring local attractions. The accommodation was perfect for our family, with plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone happy. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Linda is such an amazing host, she was so helpful and responsive to questions that we had for her. Her home is perfectly positioned in front of the most beautiful Drakensburg mountains. Last but not least her home is clean and beautiful, we will definitely be going back soon.

Dalene's cottage is set in the heart of the beautiful Drakensberg, with access to many great walks. The cottage is attractive and comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. Hans and Dalene are kind and helpful hosts, which made our stay all the more memorable.

Such a large Beautiful family home. 3 bathrooms for the 5 rooms meant never having to wait. Pool table and table tennis was great night time entertainment and made for good family rivalry. 😜

We had a great time at Charlstons place in Dragon View Estate! The home was a prefect base to explore central Drakensberg.
