Our stay at Spring Creek was absolutely wonderful. The cabin and surroundings are exquisite. The owners put a great deal of care into ensuring great care and excellent craftsmanship went into every detail. As hikers who value solitude, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a quick getaway. We spent hours on the back porch listening to birds, watching fireflies, and stargazing. And the outdoor shower with its view was also a real highlight! As for the trails, they are REAL hikes that are well-built and thoughtfully laid out. We loved being able to step outside and get in a decent walk or hike without ever getting in the car. We brought our toddler, and it was such a gift to immerse her in nature so effortlessly. She especially loved the tree net and creek boardwalk. The hosts were thoughtful, responsive, and clearly invested in their guests’ experience. We truly hope to return in another season. This place truly felt like a retreat; I can’t recommend it highly enough!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. Maureen and David thought of everything! It really felt like a home away from home with a few extra touches. The fully equipped kitchen made preparing meals a cinch; all we needed to bring was the food. The beds were very comfortable which made it hard to get out of in the mornings. The entertainment areas in the garage and basement provided hours of fun for kids and adults. We also enjoyed soaking in the steamy hot tub while being surrounded by the cool and breezy mountainous air. My only regret is that we didn’t book it for longer stay. Three nights just wasn’t enough. Thank you so much for hosting us and we will definitely choose this home when traveling back to Waynesville.

Shannon’s creek side home is fabulous in every way. The houseful of amenities were perfect, the beds & jacuzzi tub were so relaxing. My granddaughter was thrilled with personal child friendly touches. The creek was gorgeous. There were treats waiting for us! We felt we received full 5 star treatment from Shannon the entire time! If you are in the area, it’s the location, location! If Shannon’s property is available do yourself a favor and look no further for an outstanding hostess & beautiful mountain home away from home! Thank you for everything Shannon 🩷 You helped make our girls’ trip a treasure to remember !

This is the second time we stayed at this house. Everything was as described. 5 of us felt very comfortable with enough space for all. We enjoyed fire pit, Mountain view, and privacy . Gated community was very clean and well cared for. Looking towards coming back here in the future

There isn’t enough time to write everything about this place. 6 women on a girls trip and this place was perfect for us. It had a wonderful view and quiet. The road is step and curvy going up to the cabin but it is the mountains and it was easy to find. The home was clean and had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. I fell in love with the chairs in the living room! I need a couple for myself. The Elk and Chipmunks were out and about! That was great to see. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Both Marc and Melissa were accommodating and quick to respond. 10/10 highly recommend.

Sent my husband and kids up to Maggie Valley for a truck show. They just returned and absolutely loved the cabin! My son commented "Mom, I want to LIVE there." My husband said it was extremely nice and had everything they wanted, and that the bed was very comfortable. They loved seeing elk and hanging out on the covered porch. We would definitely rebook if they decide to visit again.

The place was spotless!! The linens and towels were very nice quality. The deck and surrounding outdoors were well maintained. It was very nicely decorated and well thought out. We had two questions and they were answered with 5 minutes. He was extremely nice!! I would definitely come back and would highly recommend his place. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. The place is well taken care of. Wish you the best of luck !!!

A wonderful place to relax in front of the fireplace. The cabin is in the perfect location under the tall trees and very few neighbors. Easy access to local shopping , and local bakeries. The Farm to Cake Bakery is a delightful place, to find plenty of fresh sweet treats. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook up a fine meal. Maria's cabin has all the comforts of home; comfy beds, warm blankets, and soft pillows. It is a great location for many activities. A trip to the Pidgeon Forge outlet mall ,took 1 hour 30 min on HWY 40. Maria is always quick to answer any concerns.
