Walking into Neil Watson’s Writer’s Retreat felt like visiting the house of good friends. Suffused with character, spectacular music and DVD collections, an eclectic library, and all the modern conveniences wrapped in classic rustic French atmosphere, the only thing lacking might have been a cat or two. The village is spectacularly lovely, nestled in the Languedoc region, famous for its wine. The retreat itself is a couple of minutes walking distance from four excellent restaurants, Adrian’s amazing wine shop, and a lovely village grocery store. Neil's walking maps were great. Vive la France!

Everything is very good, I recommend it.

Pleasant stay with the family. House as described. Nothing is missing. Enjoyable exterior and summer kitchen. Nearby bakery and restaurant to recommend. Very good communication with Laurent and Séverine .

Virginia's place was great. Quiet, well-equipped, clean

We had a great time at this atypical home in the center of this small village. We loved spending time on the rooftop terrace with vineyard views. The house is tastefully decorated and you can feel good to stay there.

Andrew’s apartment was perfect for our stay with two toddlers while visiting the area. Communication and checkin was super easy and we really appreciated how quick to respond Andrew was. The space is great, huge lounge and lots of space across the three floors for everyone. Thanks for such a relaxing stay!

I was attending a wedding at the Chateau in Pennautier over two nights for which Kaaren's place was brilliantly located. In the beautiful quiet streets of the old town it was just a couple of minutes walk from the Chateau. Check in and out was a breeze and Iain was very friendly and helpful when I arrived. The place was clean and tidy and had everything I needed (and more!) and was a lovely base.

Spacious studio nicely furnished with delimited spaces close to the train station, the city center. It feels like home, you can do anything on foot! Claire and Jérôme are charming and welcoming.

We had a lovely weekend in this very well-equipped and very cozy cottage. Beautiful peaceful environment. Small garden very well equipped too and ideal for barbecues with friends. We recommend it.

Veronique's accommodation was perfect for both of us, we enjoyed the fans because it was very hot, normal in August, the pleasant room, the perfect bedding, the impeccable bathroom, the main room suitable for 2 people, because we ate few meals on site. I recommend and recommend visits to the area of Minerve, Carcassonne and Narbonne for its beaches as well as nearby Spain...

The place is fantastic and looks like the picture. The host is really responsive. We had a toaster issue and the concierge brought one 30 min after my message. I highly recommend this place.

Very good stay with really friendly hosts, we were greeted by a small welcome gift. The house is very well equipped both in the kitchen and the amenities of the bedrooms. This stone house felt like home from day 1. The beautiful interior design, charming little garden, and the peace and quiet right in the city center with lovely natural views made our stay perfect. Plus, Lucile was incredibly accommodating and took care of all our needs, which made our experience even better.

WOW ! 6 stars ! This quaint historic tower house has been beautifully renovated and is thoroughly modern inside. Beautiful in every detail. The hosts are wonderful people and will help you enjoy this lovely quiet village and the beautiful wine country of the Minervois all around you…… we absolutely loved our time here !!

The house is a large comfortable French home with lots of space. Sadly we were there when it was very hot so we couldn’t use the garden. Located in a fabulous position right in the centre of Caunes. It did help that I had been to the town many times before and I’ve got friends there. The only downside is that another 2 seater lounge is needed in the living room. We had a fabulous holiday and I thoroughly recommend the home and the place.

We had a lovely stay! The village is super quiet and serene, and the place is a short walk from a couple local supermarkets. Marie-Anne was friendly and welcoming.

Very beautiful townhouse, warm and atypical. Laetitia is available and attentive. Recommended.
