Chiara was a wonderful host and communicated beautifully. Her home was filled with the beautiful tradition of her family heritage with special touches throughout; she and her husband kindly greeted us at the home and toured the property with us. They answered all of our questions, gifted us with a beautiful Easter cake and delicious blood oranges. We enjoyed quiet days, walking to and from town, where we enjoyed a delicious meal, gelato, coffees and breads. Our hosts shared the grocery store locals used and we shopped there daily to create delicious meals of our own, enjoying them at their spacious dining table. We gathered around the table for games and meals and cozied up in their living room to chat, read, and plan daily excursions. We loved our trip to the local waterfall even in the rain and a bit of snow; it was magical. We loved our tour of the small local lake at the top of the mountain and enjoyed drinks and fries at the local bar there. We even drove into Firenze for a day💗🇮🇹☺️

We booked several days of summer sightseeing. I highly recommend it to everyone, the neighborhood is nice, it has a rustic atmosphere, nice and calm house and garden. The surrounding cities are easily accessible from here. The host couple is very nice and responsive, hospitable, thank you for the delicious coffee!

The suburbs of Bologna allow easy access to the city and the main towns in the area when you have a vehicle! The accommodation is great, very clean and very spacious! Laura is extremely helpful and kind.

We stayed at Simone's place with 3 adults, a baby and a little dog for 3 days. Many reasons why we enjoyed it and why we recommend everyone to stay here: interior spaces of the accommodation, size and care of the fenced garden for the exclusive use of guests (the presence of the fence, among other things, is essential for those who, like us, bring their dog), full nature of the surroundings, extreme kindness and availability of Simone as host and last but not least, it was the most well-stocked accommodation we have ever stayed in in Italy and abroad. In short, we highly recommend it to those who want to unplug from the daily city rhythms and we will certainly do it again!

Property was as described and excellent. Large, clean, modern and fully-equipped. Very peaceful and rural location. Host very communicative. No complaints whatsoever. Would definitely recommend.

Very beautiful villa with a simply wonderful garden (perhaps more correct to say park), with centuries-old trees, hammock, tables and charcoal barbecue. A stone's throw from the center of Ferrara (7-minute walk), an oasis of tranquility with all the advantages of having the city nearby. House tidy and clean, everything as described, well-equipped kitchen, simple and direct communication with the host, self check-in with flexible code, check-out by 10 a.m. (only one very small flaw, checking in by 11 a.m. would be more convenient for many). Accommodation absolutely to be recommended, wonderful!

I visited Italy for the first time on a family trip. You left such a good memory for our family. Although the accommodation was a little remote, The host was so friendly. I really appreciated the active communication and quick response. They immediately gave us feedback on what we needed. The most important thing in the accommodation is the cleanliness, and I really want to give this accommodation a 100 points. The bathroom and bedroom were very tidy and clean. We visited for a multi-generational family holiday - grandparents, kids and parents. The setting is wonderful, in the mountains of Fosciandora - an easy 1.20 hr drive from Pisa airport. We enjoyed having the option of the jacuzzi as well as the fresh water pool. And had local chefs cook for us several evenings. The local Tigalle meal was a special highlight on our first day - compliments to Chef Nenella. It’s a stunning place and we’d love to come back. Local trips we did were to Lucca (about an hour), Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Barga. Pizza Indie was a great recommendation from Leo. Our hosts were so responsive and wonderful to speak to. They couldn’t have been more attentive. I can def imagine we’ll be back in years to come. Highly recommend the his wonderful place to anyone who truly wants to get away and switch off. The mountain air and beauty is good for the soul.

Laura was really very kind both before the stay, providing us with clear and detailed directions, and during the stay where she was very available to meet our every need, and at the end of the stay. We were super satisfied with both the location, which is spectacular and really offers all the services described, the view is breathtaking and the location is enchanting, and the house. The house is very spacious, there is a kitchen complete with appliances (including a dishwasher that was very useful) dishes and everything you need to cook, each room has a bathroom inside and being so many of us, we particularly appreciated the availability of the shower in each of them. The garden that surrounds the house is really well maintained and the pool area is for exclusive use and equipped with an outdoor shower and a relaxation area with sun loungers for everyone. Laura also provided us with the towels. Private parking is also available at the entrance to the house. Recommended!

The villa was very spacious, beautiful and fantastic. Daniele was helpful and polite. We really enjoyed our staying!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. We spent 3 days for a bachelorette party. The villa is really crazy, even more beautiful than in the photo. Each floor is independent, with its kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms. The house is crazy in every detail, from the decor to the amenities included. The pergola, the pool and the view are spectacular and we really enjoyed them. We also organized a party with the deejay in the pergola, wonderful! The owner was really top: very helpful in all our requests and was also very flexible both at check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended place!!!

We had a great stay at Il nido. The house felt perfect for five of us to use as a base for our stay. Immediately comfortable and cosy, with an excellent kitchen, and and a wonderful space for us to be together in. Spotlessly clean, and convenient with bathrooms arranged over two floors. A short but steep walk into town for all amenities, and the elevation providing us great views from the garden pergola. Friendly hosts whom we saw from time to time were attentive. All in all, we couldn't have wished for a better base for our cycling trip! Thank you, Craig

Beautiful villa in amazing surroundings, very helpful and nice host. Barga and surrounding mountain villages are lovely with amazing views, a good test of the driving skills getting there!

Lovely villa on the hills. Communication was excellent in resolving minor issues related to the internet and heating system.

The home is fantastically located on a very large enclosed plot surrounded by mountains. There is a lot of space and a lot of great amenities, such as large pool, pizza oven, large barbecue space, etc. At the same time, there are good shopping opportunities in Castelnuovo. The only challenge we had was that the garbage containers are emptied too rarely or are too small for a large family. Also be aware that there are a lot of prickly insects. We highly recommend this amazing place.

As beautiful as the description was, the reality was even better. Sandra’s guide to local activities and restaurants was one of the best I’ve seen. The place was spacious, the surrounding grounds beautiful, and the pool a welcome treat this summer.

We had a great time with Giovanni who immediately made us feel at home. The farmhouse is well-kept in every detail with a wonderful view of the Bolognese hills. Thank you for these relaxing days! We'll be back.
