Vacation rentals in Castelo de Vide

Quaint little township in a very calm area, has the necessary utensils to prepare easy meals, in my opinion a microwave and a coffee machine is missing. Everything was clean and the heating was already on when we arrived what is an added value. Dª Rosa is friendly and answered promptly to the questions posed. Breakfast has been delivered hourly combined in a basket and although simple is enough. Bread, homemade milk breads, dry cakes (were different in 2 days), milk, powdered coffee, natural orange juice, butter, cheese and ham, natural yogurts and honey and jam in bottles. The site is very quiet to rest up and get away from the routine. I wouldn't mind coming back.

Casa das Pedras is a great place to stay on a visit to this area. It is a very calm and quiet area, perfect for relaxing. We only stayed one night and it was a shame, because the house invites you to stay a few good days to disconnect and rest. Marcia is an excellent host, always present and ready to help. I highly recommend this place and I want to go back!

We had a great 3 night stay at Erica's place. The house had everything we needed to cater for ourselves and we loved the outdoor terrace with view of the pool. Having a little fenced area around the house was perfect for us and our dog to relax without worry. Erica was a lovely host and even allowed us to take cuttings from the plants in the beautiful garden! We hope to visit again.

Great place to stay. Near the main square, walkable to many of the main locations. Great host. Really a wonderful time.

Lovely place and Teresa is great! Our stay was pleasant and contact with Teresa was always friendly and very welcoming. We felt pampered and had a wonderful time at Casa Azenha. Recommended

Large and pretty area surrounding the house. Private, quiet, peaceful. Perfect to disconnect from the noise of everyday life

This house is great for disconnecting from the hustle and bustle. Rui was an excellent host, with useful tips about the surroundings, and one of the walking trails is right next to the house, and in an hour's walk we arrived at Castelo de Vide, passing by Carris and an abandoned stop.....wonderful! Rui was kind and left us groceries that were good for breakfast over the weekend, bread, butter, milk, coffee, cheese, fruit....even extra firewood for the fireplace that smelled really good! Everything was very well decorated and clean, we loved it and will probably be back. I just wouldn't recommend it to anyone with mobility issues because the room is on the mezzanine, otherwise it's an experience not to be missed!

Elsa and Rui were super friendly, helpful, and flexible. The space is super pleasant and the calm environment, perfect for a weekend out of town, very well equipped with everything that is needed. It is worth emphasizing the good reception of the guests, which has access to a small guide with recommendations, toiletries and souvenirs. The space also features air-conditioning and wifi. We also appreciate the flexibility in the check out that Elsa and Rui provided us with.
