Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

Quinta do Castro is an ancient farm with 10 hectares where you can enjoy swimming pools, mini-golf, football field, slide, barbecue, tenis, horseriding ring in the midle of a wonderful natural scenery. The Grandma Mary's House has a vernacular kitchen with a wood oven, a large room with fireplace and another with tablesoccer, a bathroom (the water is warmed with wood) and a bedroom. Casa do Vitó, of traditional architecture, is located in the village of Paços, parish of Souselo in the municipality of Cinfães, in a rural cluster next to EN222, a mythical road in our country. In the surrounding area, you can take nature hikes, tours along the Douro and Paiva rivers, visit the Paiva Walkways or discover the charms of the Magic Mountains. You will be welcomed by the host Vitó who, being local and knowing the area, will help you discover the region's charms.

Cascata Studio

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro - People's House

Casa do Povo is part of a group of houses inserted in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro, located in Barqueiros, in the Douro Demarcated Region.
