Monthly Rentals in Castello Santa Severa

We are two couples with teenage children aged 12/15/15 and we wanted to spend 2 days in total relaxation by the sea, a stone's throw from Rome. We booked and from there we felt the kindness and helpfulness of the owner of the house. But the real surprise was just over the threshold... We are greeted by a beautiful shabby chic marine-style apartment... nothing is left to chance... decorative pillows, paintings, tablecloths, dishes and lots of objects that transport you into holiday mode without thinking about it. The view is directly on the sea and you can dine on the terrace as it is very spacious. As already mentioned by other users, inside the apartment there is everything... Coffee machine (with pods included), dishwasher, hair dryer, and even the washing machine... Pots, pans... in short, it is really complete. A comfortable and well-furnished holiday apartment. There is a terrace with a small outdoor area. Excellent and very helpful hosts. Carlo and his brother were always reachable. It was particularly friendly that I was picked up from Gianluca's train station just outside Santa Severa and ended up being brought back. The location of the apartment is optimal: 2 minutes to the sea and beach, quiet surroundings. Restaurants, cafes, supermarket and other shops are very close. The place is in a good atmosphere. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. A big thank you to the hosts.

Alex's apartment is extremely comfortable, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a nice sitting/dining room and three terraces on two levels. The photos are very accurate. To enjoy breakfast outside was a real pleasure each morning. The beds were very comfortable, and two shower rooms recently renovated. There was plenty of space for four adults. We knew the area from prior visits, and it is a little removed from the beaches of Santa Severa, being located in a typical residential zone. On-street parking was always available, and the building felt secure. For us, it was an excellent base to visit local friends and travel by train into Rome from the nearby rail station. Alex is extremely helpful and very communicative. We did not have the opportunity to meet, though she was responsive at all times. We would definitely return.

We chose Lucia’s apartment for our last night of a 5 week Italian tour because it’s only 30 minutes to FCO airport. As soon as we arrived and saw the beautiful surroundings and met Lucia, we immediately wished we could extend the trip and stay for a few days. Lucia was the most welcoming and kind person that we probably ever met! We had an amazing conversation and felt as if we’d known each other for years. The home is from the 1600s and is part of a larger beautiful farmhouse. The apartment is equipped with everything needed and has plenty of room and very comfortable. The area nearby is peaceful beyond belief, very rustic pastureland and rolling hills. The lake is also about 15 minutes away and is also stunning. I hope you are also lucky enough to meet Lucia and stay at her home.
