House vacation rentals in Castelfranco Emilia

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

We had an amazing time at Miriam’s house. She and her husband are lovely people who put a lot of thought into their interior. There was nothing else we could have wished for, nice pool/ garden area, very well equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms.

Lovely very large secure garden which was ideal for our dogs. The pool was lovely and the eating area outside the kitchen was ideal. The house was comfortable and spacious and air con in 2 of the bedrooms was lovely as kept the whole house at a lovely temperature. Local bakery ideal for breakfast. 2 of our party went to the aqua park and loved it. We also visited Ferrera and Bologna.

Picturesque place for large group with private pool and a pinch of adventure! We had a great week in this house with 11 people including 6 teenagers. We enjoyed the peace and seclusion and watched the fireflies in the evening. We took three beautiful excursions: city wall cycling in Luca, cave tour in the caves of the wind and a beach day in Viaregio. Everything is highly recommended, but of course it is time-consuming due to the long distances. The house is as described: loading and unloading is exhausting because of the climb, the furniture and beds are old, and yes, we also had scorpions, which initially caused discomfort. During thunderstorms, the power sometimes goes out. And the Wi-Fi is also a bit unreliable. But still, the house has a very reasonable price-performance ratio. Giulia took great care of us and in between renewed a few utensils that were broken. I can recommend it!

Very comfortable house, clean and large pool. Pietro, despite not seeing him, was always available to respond and give us directions. The only downside is the location. You have to take a nice trip to do some things. But otherwise it's great.

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

The Apartement that we got in the villa was absolutely beautiful. Alessandro is very friendly, helpful and communicative. Just be aware, that this place should not be booked if you‘re not traveling by car. Otherwise absolutely lovely place out in nature to relax.

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

The accommodation at Michele's was extremely pleasant! Immersed in the quiet of a beautiful garden, the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed breathing in the history of the structure and the family through the furniture and furnishings of the rooms, carefully cared for and preserved. Michele was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. In the summer heat, it was nice to find a quiet corner cooled by the greenery. See you soon!

A cozy location just outside the city center

We only stayed one night because we were passing through, but the guys treated us very well and the landscape is beautiful. if we ever travel to that area again, we will definitely go back. Thank you so much (also from the furry one)

Large multipurpose terrace in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, great hosts and communications, great value for money. 30 minutes from small city restaurants and groceries.

Antonio was a great host. He was prompt answering any questions we had. The apartment is very clean, quiet, and minimal. A great location for wandering Modena and many great shops and restaurants in the area.

Accommodation surrounded by nature, spacious...with everything you need for a vacation of a few days. Beautiful surroundings and great for a hike in the woods around you... narrow and steep access road but accessible by car... necessary to get around... immersed in a small, very quiet village... We had a really pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with attention to the smallest details. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the fireplace perfectly functional, with wood provided free of charge by the host. The apartment is immersed in the tranquility of the Modena Apennines, an ideal place for those looking to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating break!

Great host - lots of valuable tips and recommendations, even a nice local gift! The house has been recently renovated very tastefully, had all we needed. Area has great views, is very quiet and peaceful! Weekend there is a restaurant 5min walk distance which had great food, nice atmosphere. other places are further and reachable by car. all in all - we would return for a nice relaxing stay!

Cozy, well-furnished house with spa and gym, equipped with every comfort, everything manages to make even bad weather days spectacular! Andrea is always ready and available for any need, he made us spend a memorable weekend. Highly recommended!!

We booked at very short notice and Romina made it possible! She welcomed us very warmly and explained everything really well, even a bottle of wine was cold for us. She is very friendly and her tips were great! We would never have tried the food truck and it was soooo delicious! She was always available and asked how we were doing. The furnishings are lovingly selected, everything fits together. From the glasses to the large mural in the bedroom, everything is very harmonious We would book with Romina again anytime.

Pictures reflect the cottage. Clean, great A/C, great location, quiet, perfect for 4 people. Garden was nice and peaceful. All was as described...even better! Would return!

Tiziana and Roberto are wonderful hosts. They were communicative and friendly. Their listing is completely comfortable and well equipped. It is also very close to Bologna but secluded and out of the way of the busy city.

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. The best apartment you can find: it’s spotless, comfortable, quiet and beautifully renovated. Despite the high temperatures outside, indoor temperatures were pleasant. The access door is completely private, and the host has organised an outdoor area for the use of guests where they can enjoy lovely summer evenings. The host Danilo and his wife were so kind you would feel like at home. Zola is a great place if you want to be outside the busy city but at a comfortable distance you can reach by train. At walking distance you can also find parks and traditional restaurants and bars, and also a large supermarket for all your needs.
