Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Castel Volturno

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very peaceful with absolutely beautiful views, which is exactly what we needed. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby and it is an easy drive to some wonderful sites, such as the palace at Caserta, with Pompeii and Naples not being too far away either. It was lovely to be welcomed by our hosts, Teresa and Francisco, and given a basket full of some absolutely delicious products that had been made on their farm. The wine was beautiful, the olive oil was perfect and the lemons were incredibly fresh! While we don’t speak any Italian and they don’t really speak English. It was easy to communicate through Google translate and they were very patient with us!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben uns der herrliche Ausblick mit freier Sicht aufs Meer, die wohltuende Ruhe und die ideale Lage. Das kleine Häuschen ist ein gemütlicher Rückzugsort für entspannte Tage und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Pierfrancesco gab uns ausserdem wertvolle Tipps für kulinarische Entdeckungen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet; während unseres Aufenthalts gab es jedoch ein kleines Problem mit dem Boiler. Pierfrancesco hat sich schnell und unkompliziert darum gekümmert und eine tolle Lösung angeboten, sodass wir unseren Aufenthalt ohne Einschränkungen geniessen konnten. Vielen Dank Pierfrancesco!

This was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. On our way back to Naples, we planned a stop at the legendary Franco Pepe’s Pepe in Grani—but the real highlight came afterward: a hidden gem in the countryside. The 200-year-old house is a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort—beautifully designed, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped. Surrounded by views, farm animals, and orange trees, it was so peaceful we wished we’d based our whole trip here. The hosts, Ilaria and her husband, were incredibly warm and thoughtful—like old friends. He picked fresh oranges, she made juice, and they even brought us fresh cheese and bread for breakfast. A tour of their farm was the cherry on top. With small shops and cozy local cafes nearby, this place was simply perfect. A true hidden gem!

We had a very pleasant stay and really loved the house. It had a wonderful view over the sea and the pool was very clean with a perfect temperature. We could walk to the beach, just took about 10 min. The surroundings were calm but there were a lot of restaurants near the beach and in the small town. The house was 2 hours from Rome with car, to Naples we took the train which took us about 1 hour and 20 min. Would love to come back, the hosts were super nice and friendly!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! Annamaria’s place was spacious, homey, well stocked and had a lovely outdoor patio. The place is even better than the photos! She gave great recommendations for activities around the island as well. We will definitely be staying here again!

Das war die beste Wahl für eine Unterkunft in Neapel! Auf der richtigen Seite, nämlich der gediegeneren, gepflegten und ruhigen Seite der Stadt mit tollem Blick auf die Küste und Capri. Roberta und Carlo sind super sympathisch, diskret, zu vorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Wenn man für 4 Personen bucht, erhält man eigentlich zwei Wohnungen, die über eine Treppe verbunden sind und perfekt ausgestattet sind. Von der Küche und dem unten gelegenen Schlafzimmer gibt es eine charmante kleine Terrasse mit Tisch und Liegen und vom oberen Stockwerk geht es direkt raus zu einer tollen Sommerküche mit grosser Terrasse mit Meerblick. Direkt vor der Haustür startet die Buslinie 140, die Euch direkt in die Innenstadt innerhalb von 20 Minuten bringt. Aber auch im Stadtteil von Posilippo gibt es gute Restaurants und direkt neben der Hofeinfahrt eine kleine steile Strasse nach unten zur felsigen Küste mit Bademöglichkeit und ein paar Restaurants und einer Bar auf einem Bootssteg. Casa molto bella e rimodernata. Il signo Silvio è stato molto accogliente e flessibile verso le nostre esigenze e ci ha accompagnati in un tour nel vastissimo giardino con giochi per bambini. È andato tutto bene

L'appartamento di Gianni si trova a Pietraroja, un piccolo comune in una posizione strategica per raggiungere paesi e frazioni vicine come Cusano Mutri, il Matese e Bocca della Selva. Gianni, persona molto gentile e socievole, ci ha accolto nella piazzetta e ci ha accompagnate all'appartamento, che abbiamo trovato accogliente e pulito e soprattutto fornito di tutto ciò che c'è elencato in descrizione. Ci ha inoltre mostrato la sua bottega dove produce prosciutti (tipici di quella zona) e dove ci ha fatto fare una piccola degustazione molto apprezzata. C'è la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto o in piazza o, se è libero il posto anche vicino l'appartamento. Chicca della casa è sicuramente il camino, che fa sempre una bella figura con il suo fascino ipnotico. In conclusione se volete allontanarvi dal caos della città e passare un piacevole weekend di pace anche con i vostri amici a 4 zampe questo appartamento è perfetto.

I loved staying at this apartment in Naples which was very close to the city centre. Everything was very clean and tidy and there were even some snacks/breakfast essentials in a basket which added a nice touch. I can highly recommend this stay and Valerio was a great host!

Our stay at The Cave far exceeded our expectations. Yes, it was clean, easy to check in, and matched the description. What stood out were the details of the space and the host. Each corner of the home perfectly captures the heart of Naples. Additionally, The Cave’s host, Attilio, was arguably THE best host I have encountered. From check in to check out, he made sure we were comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend staying at The Cave and huge thank you to Attilio!

Wir haben zu 7. die gesamte Unterkunft von Valerio gebucht und haben ein tolles verlängertes Wochenende verbracht. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super zum Erkunden der Stadt, Essengehen, Einkaufen und für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die zentrale Lage bedeutet auch, dass Nachts natürlich draußen ein bisschen was los ist - das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Vielen Dank auch für viele hilfreiche Tipps!

Wat een fijn huis! Ondanks dat wij er voor een sterfgeval waren, hebben wij echt een thuisgevoel gehad. Mooie, rustige en schone woning. De communicatie was erg goed. Wij komen zeer zeker snel terug! Een mooie plek gevonden om vaker terug te keren in mijn vaderland. Bedankt voor alles.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Naples. It is close to transport links and the historical centre of Naples. The lift is a great asset. There is a mini bar on the communal terrace which was very kind of Fabio to provide.

Our family had a fantastic time at Andrea's place! We were greeted by Andrea's father - Remo - who was a great guide and explained everything we need to know to make the most out of our stay. The unit was so well set up: everything was clean and spotless. It had all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. The hosts are super responsible and responsive. The area is quiet and safe - excellent variant if you value safety and comfort. It had easy access to the center city- only 15 min taxi drive. The views of the city and mount Vesuvius from the unit and the private rooftop are impeccable! We think that anyone who chooses to stay there will truly enjoy and appreciate it!

Communication with Vincenzo's was great, the house was as described and we enjoyed the space and the quiet neighbourhood. You need a car but the motorway is not far to do visits around Naples and the beach is 5 minutes drive.

Una villetta davvero bella e curata, tutto pulito e persino addobbato per la settimana natalizia. Siamo stati in 10 e siamo stati benissimo. Soggiorno incantevole e stanze comode, pulite e con tutte le comodità. Maria Grazie gentilissima e super disponibile. Ci ritorneremo!

This was a great place for our group of 6. Very roomy, with beautiful views of the water. Salvatore is super helpful and communicative. The town of Forio is a quick scooter/car/taxi ride from the house and had everything we needed, including the Alilauro ferry to and from Napoli.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Garten. Die Gastgeber sind überaus umsorgend. So gab es beispielsweise einen eigens erstellten Guide für die Insel, der fantastische Restaurant-Tipps enthalten hat. Fernerhin wurden wir persönlich an einem Treffpunkt abgeholt und hätte Guiseppe uns nicht rechtzeitig gewarnt, dass unsere Rückreise-Fähre aufgrund des Wetters nicht wie geplant fährt, wäre unser Flug wohl ohne uns abgehoben. Insgesamt also eine absolute Empfehlung!

Patricia’s house is in a wonderful, quiet location with beautiful surroundings. Off the beaten track but close to amenities. Patrizia and Massimo were so helpful with checking-in and giving us useful suggestions. The house has a lovely character and was equipped with everything we needed. A gorgeous setting for evening meals on the terrace, with pizza oven and an amazing garden. We even had use of the pool in April so thank you to Patrizia and Massimo for opening it up early for us! A wonderful stay with friends ❤️

La casa era veramente molto bella e pulitissima, proprio come in foto, area tranquilla con tanto spazio a disposizione per potersi rilassare e godersi un bellissimo fine settimana con gli amici. Host molto accogliente e sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi dubbio o richiesta. Consigliata per un fine settimana di puro relax😊

Incredible stay! However, be warned, you must be prepared to travel via taxi or have your own car! I unknowingly booked without realizing how inaccessible by foot / public transport this location is. But that was on me. About 30 min car ride to Naples. The space on the other hand is quite large, lovely, homey and romantic. The host is INCREDIBLE! One of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She offered to drive us to a pizza spot after our late check in, knowing that some of us were hungry. She even set up a taxi to pick us up from the airport, since she knows we don’t speak the language. Went above and beyond and felt so welcomed. All in all, great stay, phenomenal host, and romantic scenery.

Il soggiorno a Villa Elena è stato senza dubbio fantastico poiché la casa è ancor più bella di come sembrava nelle foto. Tutto era in ordine e pulito. È ben fornita di tutto ed è adatta ad un soggiorno di 10 persone. Avendo i riscaldamenti con due caldaie separate per i piani, la casa rimane calda e si può gestire quale piano riscaldare. Ha una bellissima terrazza e un salone con una bellissima vista sulle montagne. Inoltre il proprietario e l’assistente sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili Inoltre a qualsiasi domanda entrambi sono stati reperibili con una veloce risposta. Lo spazio nelle camere è giusto e ogni persona aveva il necessario per stanze e bagni (2 pubblici e 2 privati). Il paese vicino (Cusano Mutri) è molto bello, e tutte le persone incontrate sono state calorose e molto amichevoli. Per concludere: vacanza senza dubbio bellissima, consigliata assolutamente.
