House vacation rentals in Cascais

Nilza is the greatest hostess. From the clear check-in instructions to the prompt and personable response throughout our stay, we could have not asked for anything more. The house is very centrally located, within walking distance to the train station and the Marginal. Nilza kindly recommended restaurants in the area and things to do. The large kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of beds and one bath upstairs, one downstairs. We received extra bed linen/towels on request as we stayed for 10nights. The water works perfectly fine, just know cold is hot and hot is cold :). The construction was not bothersome to us, as we were out of the house during the day. When my family got locked out of the house or the water was shut down due to a broken pipe in the neighborhood, Nilza responded within minutes and did everything she could to help. Also, the key to the front door works perfectly if you follow the instructions on how to insert it. Thank you, Nilza, for a wonderful experience!

The pool house has a wonderful retro charm whilst also being a luxurious place to stay. It's beautifully furnished, thoughtfully prepared for visitors and quite unique, so will be difficult to beat! Sebastian and Kate were great hosts, always ready with recommendations for the local restaurants and area.

Katerina was very proactive, responsive, and a caring host. Any issues or questions I had were quickly addressed. Her English is excellent, so there were no issues with language barriers. I stayed for 30 days, so the weekly cleaning was nice in that the apartment stayed in good condition without much effort on my part. It’s a very pretty apartment with a lot of character: art, books, etc. It did make me worry that I would accidentally mix up my stuff with the apartment’s and consequently forget it at checkout. I alleviated this worry by limiting where I put my possessions to only a couple locations. New tenants: Be sure to get the unit’s Lote number (groupings of the apartments, displayed on the apartment complex external doors) before you arrive, or maybe ask for the location/pin of the best external door to access the apartment. For the address provided, most apps will take you a bit further into the apartment complex, which can be a bit of a hike if you have luggage.

Situated in a quiet area of town, local supermarket only a short distance and a lovely peaceful walk to the centre of the bustling, beautiful town of Cascais. Accommodation was clean, spacious and perfectly suitable self catering. The small pool was a bonus

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable. La casa estaba limpia y ordenada, la cocina completamente equipada con todos los utensilios necesarios, y la zona es muy tranquila, lo que nos permitió disfrutar de un fin de semana relajante. Agradecemos a los anfitriones por todo el cuidado y la atención en cada detalle. Sin duda, repetiríamos otra estancia. Como detalle a mejorar, en la habitación principal con baño privado, el agua de la ducha alternaba entre caliente y casi fría varias veces, y en algún momento dejaba de calentar por completo, como si hubiera un temporizador o algo que limitara el tiempo de uso. Lo mismo ocurría al ducharse mientras otras persona utilizaba otras duchas al mismo tiempo. A pesar de esta molestia puntual, decidimos no informar al anfitrión, ya que la ducha seguía funcionando y preferimos no perder tiempo coordinando una revisión durante nuestra estancia. Gracias de todas formas, la estancia fue genial.

Haus umgeben von einem idyllischen Garten, sehr ruhige Umgebung. Der Stand und die Klippen kann man zu Fuß erreichen. Gute Lage, um die Region zu erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefunden. Gute Kommunikation mit Paula.

The house was absolutely beautiful! The beds are comfortable, the house was spotless, quiet, walkable to all that Estoril has to offer, and the hosts were easy to communicate with, and always available to help us with anything we needed. I highly recommend this beautiful spot, and hope we’ll be able to stay there again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Spent 2 nights at Nuno & Camilla’s and everything was great. Ideal location for us visiting a friend in the area. Good size 2 bedroom apartment, lots of recommendations and friendly communication. Not far from the train station with a few shops around as needed. Good coffee machine is always a bonus! Will stay again next time we come to visit

Rita’s house was spacious and perfect for a big group looking to gather and scatter as they please. The pool, sauna, pool table, and beautiful terraces and landscaped yard gave us plenty to do, and we took full advantage of the outdoor kitchen (charcoal grill and wood oven) to make many big meals! The location is wonderful - walkable to the prettiest of towns, train station, gorgeous beaches, and a full-on supermarket that’s closer to a Target in terms of the variety of stuff that’s available but also bigger and better than any farmer’s market in terms of the beautiful produce and huge array of fresh and frozen seafood, meats, and alcohol. Rita and her family were kind, responsive, helpful, and so sweet. Their recs were spot-on! The only notes - the walk to most everything is on a steep-ish hill, so something to keep in mind, and the railings on the terraces are relatively low, so if you are staying with kids, keep a close eye. We had the most wonderful time - thank you!

We stayed at Carol's "fishing cottage" for several weeks. Carol is excellent at communicating and responded quickly, and helpfully, throughout to the few queries that we had. The house is exactly as described. The upstairs bedroom does indeed have a low ceiling but our adult friends coped perfectly well. The cottage is well positioned, providing easy walking access (5/10 minutes) to the train station, marina, old town etc. Be sure not to miss the town market also just 5 minutes walk away.

House well furnished, all the amenities all working perfectly. Host was cooperative and communicative all the way, and everything was easy and comfortable.

We spent a lovely week by Carcavelos beach in this apartment. The place itself was great, spotlessly clean with a large garden and pool that we used everyday even in late October (the water was freezing!). It's a short, easy walk from the apartment to the beach, train station for trips to Lisbon and Cascais and supermarket.

We had a great stay at Casa Maria. The house is very well located, very well equipped and it has a wonderful view. Communication with Manuel was very smooth and he is very friendly. We hope to be back soon!

Super bem localizado no centro histórico de Cascais perto de restaurantes, museus e parques. Tem um quintal com lindas bougainvillea floridas onde trabalhávamos on-line. Host super gentil e atenciosa. As instalações tem decoração temáticas Africa e são melhores que as fotos apresentam. A única dificuldade é estacionamento por estar localizado no centro histórico

One of my favorite Airbnb’s on our 2 week trip. Very spacious and nicely decorated! The layout was wonderful with a larger bedroom upstairs. The bathrooms 2 1/2 was a bonus. The area had an awesome Italian restaurant 50 meters from apartment which we ate 2 times which I highly recommend. It’s a 1 minute walk to the beach area and promenade. The location was ideal and I would definitely return to this lively apartment!

Awesome spot. We really enjoyed our time is Cascais! For a smaller home it uses the space well! Plus you are walking distance to everything you could want.

I love staying at Get to Know Estoril - Luc's Place - it is my preferred place to stay when visiting Lisbon. It is so conveniently located, and if you're travelling with dogs, like I do - the place is enclosed, has a lovely large garden and is very safe in a local, quiet neighbourhood. It is close to all amenities one needs within an easy 10 min or less drive including restaurants, grocery stores, the freeway and the beach. The convenience of this location can't be beat. Dona Dida is the sweetest lady that looks after the place and checks you in - a warm welcome as if you're being greeted by your own grandmother. If you need a base while staying in or exploring Lisbon, don't look further.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The architecture is timeless and elegant, with a simple structure and a thoughtful use of natural materials that made the space feel both modern and warm. The concrete beams and slab give the home a unique, industrial feel, but it’s incredibly cozy and comfortable inside—definitely a pleasant surprise! Sara, the host, was incredibly kind and communicative, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. She provided all the information we needed and was always available if we had any questions. We especially loved the location—tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac facing a small pine forest, which made the home feel peaceful and private. The living room was our favorite place to relax, and the open kitchen was perfect for socializing while preparing meals. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here!

This house was fantastic. My friends and I really enjoyed everything the place had to offer. The artfully decorated and well-preserved architecture really made us feel like we were staying someplace very special.The grounds are beautiful and the perfect place for taking morning coffee of an outdoor brunch; the kitchen was so well-stocked with cooking utensils and tools, I felt very comfortable making delicious meals. The neighborhood is very walkable and central to everything in town, and the beach is fantastic. Our hosts were very responsive and incredibly kind. Highly recommend!
