Carmen welcomed us personally & warmly. Her house is very individual & special and my whole family felt comfortable there. It is spacious and clean and there is plenty to discover and marvel at. Especially the great billiard table was used daily due to the cool weather. Like the super Bluetooth Box. The rooms are spacious and there is a separate toilet next to 2 bathrooms. Reserve towels and linens are also sufficiently available. The fantastic beach of Guincho can be reached in a few minutes by car, on foot we did not try the path. Within easy reach are some other magnificent beaches, the westernmost point in Europe, Lisbon, the beautiful city center and beaches of Cascais and the region of Sintra. For cycling, the area is fantastic. We were there because of the Ironman race of Cascais and would love to come back. THANK YOU Carmen for a wonderful week in your cool house! Moni & Family

What a beautiful experience… very well located but definitely with a car. Beautiful property lovely families living on the farm… horses mini horses.. It’s such a nice spot especially if you have intentions of visiting Lisbon it’s an amazing home that is removed from the city. So happy with my stay. Thank you.

A very nice stay in clean house with generous number of towels, pillows and a scenic view. We were 5 people, 2 adults and three kids 14,11 and 7yrs. Everybody sleept well and the two bathrooms were both practical and very clean. The out door facilities were enjoyable and we used the pool although it was not heated. We could have wished for a larger table in the kitchen area as the small round one available only had room for two people eating breakfast. Communication was very accurate, quick and friendly. We met the host once and the was a nice experience and we felt very welcome. Parking is free and just outside although you might have to do it the portugese way; two wheels on the pavement:) Furthermore the house felt very private although providing a stunning view. Large groceryshop just around the corner made things easy and affordable. Kitchen was well equipped and with new appliances. We highly recommend this place for families.

Rhino House is excellent. I'd stay there again. Helio and Paula are great hosts, always quick with a response and a solution. We were there for over a month, so a few little issues were bound to crop up (nothing serious) but Helio and Paula always came to the rescue and quickly. The location is fine. The neighbourhood is unspectacular, but certainly safe and the neighbourhood people are friendly and helpful (like all Portuguese people!). It's only a seven minute drive to beautiful Cascais, and about the same to Estoril, so quite convenient to everything. And the highway is close by when you want to venture further. The house is exactly as pictured and does not disappoint. Yes, it's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for in this life. It's a beautiful place, and worth the money. Stay there.

I recently stayed at Fernando Airbnb, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality. The space was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The location was ideal, nestled in a charming neighborhood that offered both tranquility and easy access to local attractions by car. Fernando was incredibly responsive and provided helpful recommendations for things to do and places to see. They truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, my experience was fantastic; If you’re looking for a cozy and welcoming spot, this is the place for you!

We rented this Airbnb for my mother-in-laws 70th bday, we had family come in from Belgium, Ireland and the US, this was the perfect place to host the whole family. Wonderful outdoor space and plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. Pedro helped us with a paella dinner for the bday party and it was beautifully presented and the food was delicious. We can’t say enough on how wonderful Pedro was, very helpful and accommodating.

I stayed at the place for 2 weeks and was very happy. Walking distance to the beach and the old town is 10-15 minutes downhill. The room is very large and spacious, but as it is located in the basement, it is dark and the light must remain switched on during the day. The wifi worked well The kitchen was shared with the other residents, depending on it, sometimes it was a bit dirty, but the staff cleaned them every day. I am more than happy to recommend the place!

For those who want to enjoy the beach, the location is ideal! To go to Lisbon is easy, but you need to take the train (trip around 40 min). The nearest supermarket, mini price, is a bit expensive and there are not many things, there is a sweet spot, but it is a little further away (15 min or so). There are people who live in the house, everyone is friendly and helpful! Carmen is always there to help with anything as needed. The kitchen is well equipped, but depending on how many guests it gets a little crowded, but it's not a big nuisance. The room I stayed in was very ventilated and sunny, which was very nice. Regarding the price, a little expensive, but nothing different from the rest of the nearby options. I recommend staying.

We enjoyed staying at Fernandas home. She was very friendly, helpful and during the arrival evening she were able to give us flexible time to check-in. Unfortunately we didn't have opportunity to have a chat due to our short stay. I will definitely recommend her place. I hope to have a chat with her at next time. Muito Obrigado.

the guest house is delicious and the guys who work there are very kind and helpful. the outdoor common areas are very pleasant, cozy climate, large and well-stocked kitchen, clean and sufficient bathrooms for everyone. our room was the cheap one and already very nice, even more beautiful the other rooms because it was bigger. not even 15 minutes from downtown and the bus and train station, so Sintra and Cabo da Roca are easy to get to, too. the Bolt service is very convenient, very present in the area, for travel with luggage or if you are more careful. highly recommended!!!

The stay was quiet and the natural atmosphere of the house is pleasant. However, when we arrived, we found several open windows and some spiders inside, which could have been avoided with more attention in the preparation of the space. The biggest negative point was the situation of the pool. The photos of the ad convey the idea that the pool and the surrounding area are part of the reserved accommodation, which directly influenced our decision, as we were looking for a space with outdoor leisure to celebrate a special occasion. After booking and payment, we received additional rules that indicated that we could not climb the stairs — the only access to the pool — which made it impossible to use. This crucial information was neither clear nor visible on the listing. We believe that transparency is essential and that this limitation should be mentioned directly in the description, to avoid misunderstandings. The house has potential, but these details make all the difference in the experience.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house in Cascais! The location was perfect—just a 15-minute walk from the beach and the town center, which has plenty of restaurants and shops. The house was very cozy and well-equipped, with a spacious living room and a modern kitchen that made us feel right at home. We especially loved the garden, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine outdoors. The beds were comfortable and the house was well-maintained overall. A place we won't forget any time soon! Our flat was just big enough for us (2 adults and 2 kids), but everything was recent and clean so it felt great. As soon as you go out the door, the big garden and gorgeous terrace are waiting for you regardless of the weather. Again, everything is new and well maintained. One of the biggest assets of this place is its location: you're only 10-15 minutes away on foot from the city centre and 20 minutes away from the beaches, but the landscape is a wonderful countryside valley, the only noise around being the roosters and the sheep's bells :) Same thing if you're planning to go to Lisbon or Sintra: the bus and train stations are less than 20 minutes away on foot, with direct connexions. And last but not least, in case you need anything, the awesome guest and all-around sweetheart Marco will be there to help. He is always around to assist if you need anything and his presence was always very professional and friendly at the same time. To sum it up: we loved it, the kids loved it, we all had a good time and we cannot recommend this place enough!

This place is a delight! I loved how homey it felt. The design was wonderful, and with all the windows it really let nature in. I came without a car, which was a mistake! Definitely have your own wheels to get around as it's not really walkable. Everything was comfortable and clean. Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed the stay at Filipe‘s place. The house is close to a beach with small bar and a pizza place. You can surf here and it‘s 15min by car to Ericeira. We did a workaction here, if you are looking for something similar we can recommend this place.
