Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cascais

They were very friendly and always available for questions and answers. The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable, although the floor can be cold. They had good knifes and frying pans in the kitchen - amazing!🤩 ...and last but not least they have an amazing spa and great massages. I can gladly recommend it.

Fantastic location in old Sintra! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved people watching from the balcony doors down to the main square. We walked to Peña, Moorish Castle & Quinta de Regaleira. We were there just before Easter (low season) and found parking on road as advised by host. Used the drop off/pick up space nearby for unloading.

Very quiet place to stay, not as noisy as the city center. If you have a car, you can visit many shopping malls and supermarkets in the surrounding area, otherwise you will have to take the bus. The owner is building a swimming pool and garden, so there will be noise after 8:30 in the morning, which will affect you if you like to sleep late.☺️

O studio é exatamente como nas fotos. Possui toda a estrutura necessária para a estadia, muito bem ventilado e recebe luz natural durante todo o dia. A localização é excelente, fica muito perto da estação de Comboio Monte Estoril e de várias praias maravilhosas. O Sebastian é muito atencioso.

WOW what a house - we had a fantastic stay in this home. So much space and beautiful landscaping. We explored Sintra and had a surfing lesson at Praia Grande. The drive down to the supermarket is a little hairy but all part of the adventure! The home is beautiful and everything you could need - loved the Steam Room!

Great place, spacious and clean. Fantastic location - close to the beach, close to cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and a train station - everything can be reached within easy walking distance. The check in by Paulo’s uncle Manel was very welcoming and could always be reached if needed. Would come back again. Thanks Paulo and Manel.

This house was such a dream and we are so happy to have stayed there. We were two families, each with two kids, and my mother (who was so happy to have her own space in the guest annex) and it was a great space with lots of room for all of us to spread out. You can walk to the local market and a few small restaurant and gorgeous beaches are within a 10-15 minute drive (make sure you go Praia das Azenhas do Mar - it is magical). Sintra is an easy drive and the Lisbon airport is just 35 minutes from the house. We loved the pool and the big yard, grilling dinners in the brick oven near the pool, having every room lead outside, and late night pool games with the kids in the game room. The tennis court was also wonderful to have. This house was really wonderful. Thank you, Jose!

Das war einer der entspanntesten Urlaube, die wir bisher gemacht haben. Das Häuschen liegt auf einem Hügel in einem kleinen Dörfchen 10 Autominuten von Cascais entfernt. Man läuft einen sehr, sehr idyllischen Weg etwa 20 Minuten zum Guincho Strand. Allein dieser Weg wird mir schon fehlen! Luca und Manon haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und während der 3 Wochen betreut mit Tipps für Supermärkte und Restaurants etc. In Charneca selbst gibt es ein uriges portugiesisches Restaurant, wo man hinlaufen kann. Die Küche im Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass wir auch richtig kochen konnten und bei Sonnenuntergang mit Meerblick das Essen auf der Terrasse genießen konnten. Ansonsten funktioniert Bolt dort super, sodass unser Mietwagen eigentlich überflüssig war. Luca ist ausserdem ein sehr, sehr guter Surflehrer und er gibt Stunden in der Shaka Surf School am nördlichen Guincho Strand. Wir waren zeitweise zu 6 im Haus, was durchaus möglich ist, auch wenn es nur 2 Schlafzimmer gibt.

Gute Lage und schöne gemütliche Unterkunft! Schöner Ort und tolle Aussicht! Nur das Bett ist uns etwas zu weich.

we had a great time at the house. it was perfect for our company of 11 people. for the adults as well as the children. great privacy and a small walk to the coast side. Patricia was very responsive and always friendly. i would highly recommend this place!

Das Haus und die Umgebung sind sehr schön, außerhalb vom touristischen Trubel gelegen und dennoch sehr zentral. Es gibt ein nettes Frühstück mit Selbstbedienung und man kann sehr schön auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Mars ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, außer dass unsere Zimmer ziemlich dunkel waren, da im EG gelegen (ausgenommen dem sehr stilvollen hellen Bad). Wir konnten uns dafür wunderbar auf der Terrasse aufhalten. Die Küche ist zum richtigen kochen sehr klein. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter!

It was lovely to meet Judite when she warmly welcomed me at the Airbnb. She and Sara had kindly left fruit, croissants, milk and an array of teas and coffees in the kitchenette which was well equipped and spotless as was the shower room. There was always lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet at night for a good night’s sleep. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and sometimes at the table in the room. It was very near the supermarket and a cafe and a short walk to the beach. The train station was also within walking distance. I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

I agree with all the other positive reviews - this is a wonderful place to stay! Really enjoyed the space and the variety of activities including the pool, table tennis and chess board. Close to everything including the beach. Easy communication with the host who is very friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was well appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, - close to everything yet peaceful. Our host was incredibly attentive, providing clear and detailed instructions on the operation of everything from the shower to the microwave. It all went to make our checkin and stay seamless. The house is a very comfortable space for a family with two kids. Specious enough and located in quiet area. It is well maintained and had everything we needed. The only thing is electric lightning in the living room which is too dim and not very pleasant for eyes. Very good supermarket is just around the corner, though no restaurants or cafes around. If you have a car it shouldn't be a problem as there is huge shopping mall with a great food court in 5 min drive. Particia is a great host, very helpful and friendly, she made our stay nice and cozy. All in all, we wouldn't think of any other option if we came to Sintra again. We would love to come back. I definitely recommend this place.

Jorge is an outstanding host. Although we arrived late in the evening and had to self check-in, we encountered some difficulty locating the right apartment. However, after a quick phone call, Jorge guided us directly to it with ease. The apartment itself is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. While we had read in other reviews that some of the interior feels a bit dated, it wasn’t an issue for us. The highlight is its prime location—just a short walk from a stunning beach and train station. Conveniently located in between Cascais and Lisbon which made it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas.
