Vacation rentals in Casalta

We have now spent our vacation in the beautiful house of Maud and Thibault for the second time and say this time: We will be back! The house is not only perfectly located between the sea and the mountains, so you can easily reach the destination for hiking, swimming or excursions. It is also like a small oasis away from the holiday hustle and bustle on the coast. From the terrace, you can let your eyes wander over the valley up to the mountain village of Cervione, watch the imposing red kites and cool off in the pool in between. The house is very clean and modern and equipped with many loving details by the very friendly and helpful hosts Maud & Thibault. Every now and then there are visits from the cats and next door the domestic pig "Hamlet" grunts happily. We had a wonderful week in the mountains! Henri was very helpful and welcomed us personally. If you are looking for peace and want to relax in the most beautiful, wild forests, this is the place to be. The apartment had everything we needed and the highlight was the view from the balcony. Small and larger hikes are possible and by car you can make good excursions e.g. to Corte or to the sea. We would love to come back!

Silvia and Philippe were very, very friendly and reliable hosts. You felt welcome at all times. If you had any questions, Silvia was always immediately available. The house was in perfect and clean condition, just as the photos suggested. The pool and the location of the house offer a beautiful view and in the evening you could end the day by the pool or on the terrace, in peace. The nearest village with a large supermarket was 10 minutes away, the nearest beach in about 25-30 minutes by car. There was nothing to complain about and we would come back any time.

The chalet is small but very well-equipped, and very nicely furnished/decorated. Gilles, who did everything himself, has a lot of talent and taste. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and more. Coffee, infusions, jam, butter... were even provided. The bathroom is beautiful, with its blonde stone slabs. Only small regret: not really an indoor space (sofa/bench) to relax when it's cold, but Gilles will make some changes if I understood correctly. The real plus of this chalet is its incredible outdoor space: it is indeed located on a small rocky promontory, overlooking the mountains, a real paradise where it is good to read, dream, watch the sun set... My best memory: the family of wild pigs that came two meters from me while I was playing my little guitar. Apparently, they're music lovers! Gilles and Marie France are very welcoming.

We stayed in the house for two summer weeks. It sits by the road through the valley, right by a river. The accommodation includes other properties, we had our house to ourselves The pool was there for everyone but it is large, clean and we only met other guests twice. To the pool you have to walk about 200m and it is the place where there is Wi-Fi. The house itself is spacious and cool. In the area there is the river and a very nice place, for everything else you have to get in the car, to the supermarket and for excursions. It's really quiet, tranquil, the goat stoves pass by and the cows are in the dark on the street- a nice place to relax.

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Amazing view, peaceful surrounding. The house had everything one needed to feel right at home. Everything was perfect.

**A true paradise in Castellare-Di-Casinca – highly recommended!** Our family of five had an amazing time at this charming, traditional house, a former mill by a small stream. The house is beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail, making it both cozy and stylish. The outdoor area is a dream: several terraces, a stunning pool, and complete privacy – you feel immersed in nature, yet everything you need is close by. Our children loved the space to explore and, of course, the pool, the donkey, and the peacock were big highlights. The communication with the host was excellent. She was always available for any questions, providing clear directions and great local recommendations. The location is perfect for exploring both the mountains and the coast. For us, this stay was pure bliss: peaceful, scenic, and in a wonderfully designed home. We can’t recommend it enough and would love to return!
