Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Cartago Province

Teo, Humberto and Monica could not have been nicer and more helpful during my stay. They have helped me find my way locally. They have helped me with groceries up the stairs and Humberto even built me a needed spice rack. They invite me to go to market with them several times per week. When I requested to be on the top floor so I could be high and up in the canopy they readily facilitated the move. The grounds are amazing. Private and safe from the highway this coffee finca is beautiful. There are lemon, lime, orange and avocado trees and when in season I was invited to use what I needed. The farm roads on the coffee finca offers a quiet place to walk peacefully, safely with quaint but beautiful views of the mountain and country side. Even the cat and dog were welcoming and treated me like family.

Our stay in Daniel's apartment was wonderful, it has a beautiful view with balcony to enjoy. Super practical, clean and with all the comforts for a pleasant stay. Daniel welcomed us very warm, sharing a lot of information about places to eat or how to get from the airport. The apartment has very nice lighting and ventilation in addition to being in a very quiet neighborhood with nearby squares if you have a dog.

Wow! Gilberto and Beni's place is a winner! I absolutely loved everything about my stay. The apartment was sparkling clean, the location in the heart of Barrio Chino is unbeatable (so much to explore!), and most importantly, I felt incredibly safe and comfortable. This will definitely be my go-to spot in San José. Book it – you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful and quiet place. Just to disconnect from everything and really rest. Place with many areas to relax and truly relax. Lucia is super attentive and worried because you really feel at home. A orchard with fresh and delicious produce. I hope to return soon!

Very nice place to stay for a few days while doing errands in SJO. Clean and comfortable.

A little bit of quiet close to town. The Bay Windows are perfect for enjoying the abundance of Natural Light inside the house and the beautiful view. The entrance is narrow but any car comes in without any problem.

Beautiful place in a very peaceful area overlooking the mountains. We were lucky to see many different birds and rainbows surrounding the hills. The place has plenty of space and is a good option for a group of people for a very good price.

The fifth is as described, it is very beautiful, spacious and comfortable Very spacious, but shared with other cabins We made some recommendations to the host about the lack of basic and detailed utensils which she received with very good attitude and promised to improve. Juan Carlos was very flexible. A group of my clients stayed there and were very happy with the stay. There was only one setback that was not in Juan Carlos' hands, since a nearby pipe burst and they were without water for a whole day. (This is not something that happens commonly) Juan Carlos very kindly left some bottles of water for the clients. The house is very nice, good location and just as described. Thank you!

The host was extremely attentive. The place was very clean and tidy. Close to everything. I would definitely use the apartment again

Everything was excellent. The condominium is super safe, super clean, the pool was a success, the gym too, both with super extended hours. I definitely recommend it and I will stay there again, God willing

Jose‘s place was great. Right on the park which is a popular chill out spot during the weekends. Great coffee shop just below. Great view of the city. It was super clean and Jose was very responsive. Escalante is a super walkable area with great restaurants, if you’re into the foodie scene. It’s a very Hip and artistic area. The nightlife is great too that’s your thing. I would definitely recommend this place .

Nice place. Worth the money

Ricardo is the ideal host. One of the first people to import Egyptian art and crafts to Costa Rica, he is well traveled and brimming with spectacular stories of his travels as well as essential tips of the local area. I bought two alabaster hand carved vases from his store Gifts from the Nile or Regalos del Nilo that I highly recommend visiting on your stay. The space is great. Ample closet space, highly unusual for Costa Rica. His bathroom has hot water, which isn't standard. He has a full size washer and dryer which is a true luxury in Costa Rica. The space is meticulously decorated and designed by Ricardo. Although it doesn't have air conditioning the extra tall cathedral ceilings plus sliding door to balcony in the room keeps it cool enough to sleep comfortably. His cat Cassan and drinking coffee with Ricardo were some of the highlights of my entire trip. I can't recommend this place high enough.

Although there was a small incident on the property, Mr. Marcos remained very friendly, the property is very comfortable and complies with everything For short and comfortable stay

Jairo was a wonderful host for the month that we were there. He is kind, generous and talkative. He loved offering up recommendations and makes great coffee beans. We were within walking distance of the hospital which is exactly what we needed. Some things to keep in mind: the kitchen is very tiny and the city water doesn't run hot. Other than that, a very comfortable stay for the price point.
