Guesthouse vacation rentals in Cartago Province

They are excellent hosts, it is the second time I have stayed with them and it will always be my first option when I travel to San José, they are very attentive and unbeatable accommodation

Will and Leah were amazing hosts from the moment we arrived to the house. They greeted us with coconuts picked from their yard and started off our relationship by saying “Mi casa es su casa” when we were settling in. We really felt right at home and their warmth and hospitality was so appreciated. We loved exploring the grounds, especially the hike up the mountain which was located right on the property. Their dog Findy guided us along the mountain and the views from the top were breathtaking. We would be back in a heartbeat if/when we return to Costa Rica! Where do we start? David and his oasis in the mountains surrounding Orosi are the quintessential models for host and lodging. The casita is set up a forested and river winding mountainside with the most gorgeous surroundings and vistas. The casita itself is beautiful with all the amenities one could imagine, a very very comfortable queen bed, and a sweet fully stocked kitchenette. There is even a gas grill if one desires to bbq on the beautiful patio. So much to love about the casita but that is even over matched by the wonderful host, David. David communicated with us in great detail and met us at a set point to help guide us up the mountain. Fording a river and navigating steep twisting turns, we subsequently had no problem driving to and from the property into the sweet town. You will be hard pressed to find a more gentle, enthusiastic, creative, informative and caring host than David. Though interacting with him is marvelous he certainly provides privacy. The absolute best! Go!!!!!

What a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, as if we were visiting the estate of some dear friends. We were pleasantly surprised with a variety of delicious fruits, including freshly cut bananas. The house itself is beautiful, and the surrounding property is equally impressive. A true paradise!

Great place to relax and have a great time with family or friends

Juan José is super attentive and kind. The place is beautiful, the photos don't do it justice. Lots of peace and quiet.

Just spectacular! Very well thought out accommodation, with a very romantic and quiet tone. The place inspires a lot of peace and relaxation. There is a house with a family living nearby, but that doesn't take away from the apartment's privacy... the bathroom has a beautiful design! And the mini pool is fabulous. I definitely recommend this place for a romantic getaway or 100% relaxation and rest! Mario's attention was always timely and very respectful.
