Karla was an amazing host! She was very responsive and flexible. The apartment was beautiful and had a great view of the city. Definitely recommend this place!

Un Lugar muy acogedor con hermosas vistas!!!

Wir haben die Wohnung für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise genutzt und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für den Alltag braucht. Besonders angenehm war die ruhige Lage in einer Wohngegend – ideal, um sich zu erholen. Gleichzeitig sind Geschäfte und andere wichtige Anlaufstellen schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Wir können diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

As advertised.. Walkable to San Pedro Mall and downtown San Jose. Tons of restaurants in the immediate are. The place had everything needed, even if you wan to cook. Can hear train in the AM but that is only complaint.

Location, Location, Location. URBN is a great building to stay in, and the Escalante neighborhood is EXACTLY where you want to be when visiting San Jose. The balcony with this place is exactly as pictured, and is absolutely fantastic. I worked outside on the balcony every day we stayed.

Nice and comfortable with beautiful views and amenities. It was a fun, unique building with unique spaces. Our daughters loved the bunk beds. Thank you for sharing! We loved the nearby parque Francia, Calle Jón and La Magia for a drink and atmosphere. Cumpanis was a nice bakery and café that was not too far away.

This was our second stay at Alberto’s. We love the location - close to restaurants, train and groceries. The condo has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the neighborhood very safe. We will stay here again if it is available when we are back.

Great location, clean, simple, quaint and comfortable. The courtyard is a great oasis and the provided ground coffee to use in the coffee maker really hit the spot.

Beautiful place! Specious and my kid loved the toys in the play room! Very clean kitchen full of amenities and nice outside area. Highly recommended for families with kids. Great location, two nice parks walkable distance. San Pedro mall only 10min drive.

El lugar lindisimo. Si hace frío pero la chimenea ayuda mientras uno esté en la sala y en el cuarto las cobijas fueron suficientes. Ricardo fue muy amigable y contesta rápido. Definitivo volvería.

Daniel and his team were amazing hosts! They were incredibly kind, always helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended!

Nice place, well equipped, good help from host. Unfortunately, with so many walls being windows the place doesn't insulate from noise very well - but it does get a bit hot. But great views, and a pretty quiet neighborhood.

El apartamento es pequeño, tipo estudio; pero demasiado cómodo y hermoso, con todo lo que se necesita para una estadía corta o larga. La cama riquísima, hay aire acondicionado, se siente uno muy seguro y confortable. El lugar es muy tranquilo, muy cerca de todo, fácil de llegar. Me sorprendió la torre inteligente de parqueo que tiene el edificio y muy amable don Domingo, uno de los guardas del lugar, le explica a uno todo, como maestro de escuela. Muchas gracias, María Jesús. Recomendado el lugar, 100%.

lovely apartment with literally everything you need. it was very clean and tidy and the beds were amazing ! would recommend if you need a place to stay in San Jose but be a bit aware of the (sketchy) area.

My wife’s favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Loved the location one block from the center of Barrio Escalante but far enough to not hear the train at night. A little noise from the center of town but not bad. This is a very clean and modernized home with good security. Instructions to get in were clear and easy. We loved this stay and absolutely recommend this to anyone considering.

Es un departamento espectacular, en un condominio nuevo y muy bien ubicado. Perfecto para iniciar la travesía en Costa Rica. La piscina del condominio es fuera de serie y a pesar de que fue una estancia del paso, me hubiera quedado feliz una semana. Tiene un Walmart a pasos y fue perfecto para abastecerse y comprar todo lo que olvidaste en casa. Lo mejor fue la cercanía con el terminal de buses desde donde partía nuestro autobús a La Fortuna. 😊. Everything was excellent. The communication was great, and the location is fantastic. There are many great restaurants nearby. The place was clean, and the staff was always very helpful.
