Earth house vacation rentals in Carpathian Mountains

Our trip to Codrul Alb's hobbit house was quite simply magical. We were expecting the location to be stunning and the hobbit house to be endearing, and this is exactly what we found. What we were not expecting and came as a great surprise were the hosts' knowledge and willingness to share it about permaculture, ways of working with and respecting nature, edible and medicinal plants, as well as different ways of using these plants. I was impressed with their way of living and would love to see a community developing around their embodied ideas, whether online or off. The location is remote but we received detailed instructions at arrival. We took a hike through the country side, filled our lungs with fresh air, our souls with the splendid mountainside scenery and our bellies with local berries. We also tasted interesting berries and plants on the hosts' land. At night, we saw the starlit sky and slept like babies. We'll be sure to come back to this piece of heaven :)

An amazing jewel waiting to be found. Not only is the place authentic and picturesque but the villagers and the host herself were at all times friendly and helpful. We even got to eat at a local home and see some folk dances and listen to live music! The only drawback - having to leave...

Dina and Florin are warm, lovely, very approachable people whom went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. We have stayed for two nights in the Mexican House and would love to be back for a more extended period. Just living in such a house for two days is a beautiful experience in itself. It is a perfect place to go on hikes with kids or just enjoy the house and surroundings if it rains. Thank you for everything , we had an amazing time.

Fraîchement arrivés dans notre éco-gîte, le Hobbit, niché entre les montagnes de Berevoești, nous sommes tout de suite enveloppés de douceur. Les collines verdoyantes s’étendent sous un ciel d’azur, parsemées de fleurs sauvages et d’arbres fruitiers en fleurs. Un ruisseau murmure, mêlé aux échos du village : cloche d’église, gazouillis des oiseaux, bourdonnement des abeilles et aboiements lointains. Les maisonnettes colorées de la vallée dégagent une quiétude pastorale. Une brise porte le parfum de l’herbe fraîche. Ici, le temps semble suspendu, drapé dans la poésie de la nature. Après une journée à traverser des paysages majestueux et villages pittoresques, nous nous déposons ici pour savourer un vin local, l’« Aristocrat », dans la cuisinette extérieure de notre hutte. Une adorable chatte, Sofia, partage ce havre de paix avec nous. Notre hôte, Georgian Alexandru Badea, est d’une gentillesse rare. Nous reviendrons ! Un Canadien et sa compagne roumaine, charmés par Berevoești.

Greate, quite place

My child described perfectly this house: Mom, It is so beautiful here that I feel like crying. The house is gorgeous and has a beautiful view. You have everything you need inside, It is very well equipped, the garden is so peaceful and the hosts are very helpful. I loved the design, but most of all I loved having coffee on the beautiful terrace. There are some very good options for dinner and/or launch nearby and also lots of caves, waterfalls, etc. I am looking forward to coming back here.

We had a unic stay at Maria’s hobbit heart house , great view , all the place is an art , we love 💕 it , also Maria was helpful polite and there about whatever we need. The place is amazing.
