Cottage vacation rentals in Carpathian Mountains

The place in the house was very nice, cozy, clean. No problem communicating with the host, the host was welcoming, helpful, active to chat, quick replies. We were very satisfied in the house, the kitchen was well equipped, everything in very good condition, the house was very nicely cleaned. The host was willing to provide us with cribs, a changing table, a lot of toys, and other baby and baby equipment (baby-frendly) upon request. Check-in and check-out very easy, easy to understand. Sauna and hot tub in top condition. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend, we will continue to recommend your place, I hope we haven't been to your place for the last time.

Zuzanna is a great host: quick to respond & hugely helpful. The property itself is in a stunning location and very peaceful. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. A few suggestions as to how it could be made even better - these are meant to be constructive rather than critical! It would be great if guests could control the temperature of the property themselves. It was cold outside (-10) but we don't like a hot house, and as we couldn't control the thermostat ourselves, we had to keep messaging Zuzanna to ask her to adjust it. She was super fast to help but I wish we hadn't needed to bother her. It would also have been great to have a washing machine! And one final point: there is a double bedroom downstairs, and beds for up to four people upstairs. "Upstairs" is in fact really a mezzanine accessed by an almost vertical ladder staircase. We were fine but families with small children / elderly relatives would have really struggled - this isn't in the photos.

The listing was the same as the pictures. We went with 7 of us, the smallest room had a small double bed, 2 people couldn't fit on it! We would recommend it for 6 people!! The owner was helpful. The accommodation is located on a mountain top, it has to be counted! It was last minute about caucus..

Exactly what we were looking for - a restful place with beautiful views. The cabin is incredibly comfortable, we didn't want to leave!

Everything was as described and even exceeded our expectations! Fantastic secluded cottage where you can relax and enjoy the amenities, such as a hot tub or sauna. A very nice gesture was the bread we received from Basia. I recommend this place to everyone, I think I'll come back someday;)

Leszek's cottage is a real gem for those looking for comfort and peace in a mountain setting. Well-equipped, modern, and well-maintained, the owner takes care of every detail. Biggest strengths? Definitely a relaxation area! The sauna, hot tub, and cold water bale are perfect after a day on the mountain trails. The location also has its advantages – although the cottage is a little further from Zakopane, in return we get peace, quiet and lack of crowds. There's no problem with the lines in the shops or the noise of tourists. It's a great option for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle and fully enjoy the mountain atmosphere. All in all, a perfect getaway in both summer and winter!

Magical cabin, we felt right at home. All the amenities you might need are available on site. For us, the smart home was interesting, for example, everyone in the room can adjust the temperature according to themselves and at the same time see what the temperature is currently there. The cabin is not secluded, but the place was absolutely quiet and peaceful. In the perfect location for a hike to Lopeník. View of the forest on one side, overlooking the pond on the other. Truly an oasis where my family and I rested.

I traveled to town with my wife and friends. The accommodations were awesome and the chalet was pristine. It was a nice touch to have the restaurant right there and the ability to make a fire in our place. It was also very close to town from a walkability perspective, but descent distance to have a peaceful nights sleep. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area.

We spent New Year’s Eve at this charming countryside house and it was truly a delightful experience. Communication with Maria was excellent and all the details and assistance provided made everything so much easier. The hospitality was outstanding! Maria’s parents welcomed us with everything perfectly prepared - from the warmth of a cozy fire to a fridge stocked with traditional goodies like bacon, sausages, eggs, honey and more. The house was lovely, well-equipped; managing the heating ourselves added to the charm of the place and wasn’t an issue at all. The courtyard well-maintained and we were blessed with sunny weather throughout our stay. Due to some unexpected and pre-existing health issues, we extended our stay by two nights. Maria and her parents were incredibly thoughtful and supportive, providing food, medication and anything we needed, making us feel like family. We recommend this wonderful location and are certain we’ll return in the future. A big thank you for everything!

Our stay at Big Blue house was perfect in every way. The spacious and modern interiors and cleanliness and attention to detail immediately made it cozy. The whole house is well equipped, especially the kitchen, which has all the necessary utensils for guests to be self catering. Located in a calm and quiet environment, it's the perfect place to relax. The nature around the house is a wonderful experience, and you can spend time on the terrace. Nearby attractions and activities are easily accessible, but the house also has everything to enjoy a whole day without going out. It's a great choice for those seeking relaxation and tranquility, while all the modern conveniences are available. Thank you Valentin and Judit!

We were greeted in person immediately when we arrived. Steve was very kind and helpful. The accommodation was exactly as described and very spacious. I would definitely recommend to stay here! Just take into account that the last bit of the road there could be quite slippery during the winter.

Wonderful stay, we loved the house, the attention to details and the atmosphere. We felt at home and the feeling of the cosy cottage is such well maintained. The hospitality of the host and the communication with Csilla were great! Definitely a place to return.

The place is very well taken care of, cozy and very easy to feel at home. Robert was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The blinds let a lot of light in so if you are sensitive to sleeping with light when the sun comes up you might want to bring an eye mask, but other than that the place is perfect if you want a comfortable place in the quiet countryside. We actually almost changed our plans to stay an extra night just because we felt so good there.

Great place! My husband and I stayed for two nights while visiting friends in the area and we really enjoyed our stay. Really beautiful and cozy. The decorations are so lovely and traditionally Romanian. Although I almost knocked over a vase by the door. Sometimes less is more. Other than that, it was very nice and cozy with a wood burning heater in the bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The manager is very kind and responsive. Five stars! ⭐️

A cozy and charming country house, with a front and a back yard perfect for kids. The place was clean, comfortable and warm (loved to fall asleep listening to the sound of wood fire). The hosts were amazing and they practically spoiled us (home made food, wine and a constant attention to all the details). We would surely love to come back in the future.

Tom’s AirBnB is absolutely beautiful. The location is in the middle of a vineyard, the house beautifully decorated and has all amenities. The two terraces offer great space to relax. We really enjoyed the location as it’s quiet but very close to Tihanyi, Balatonfüred and other small villages along Balaton. Tom met us in the village to show us the way to the house and had really nice recommendations of restaurants and local markets. The communication with him was very friendly and he is a great host. All in all we had a perfect week.

At Alex cottage and farm I felt like turning back on time almost 40 years ago when I was spending my holidays at my grandparents house. There is a lot to learn on how we can reuse things that already have ended their lifecycle of primary use/destination and I would gladly return to those surroundings and really have a meaningful conversation with Alex, Alin or Andrada. I booked the cottage for the weekend, after a stressful week at work and amazingly I missed all these good conversations as I was able to sleep more than 14 hours almost uninterrupted. It has given me back the energy I need for the following weeks of work. It is a personal record for me. Surroundings are peaceful and quite, the walk in the Forrest with my 2 best friends - a black labrador and a Jack russel was sunny, serene, so you can practice there anytime mindfulness. Alex's dogs has opened the path for this nice 2 hours walk. Highly recommend for those who want to escape from the daily hussle of life. Thank you, Alex

It was great experience, the apartment was perfectly located, clean and with nice vibe of private house. Luke explained in details how to find the apartment and provided great recommendations to see in Bucharest. For sure will come back to this place in the future.

We spent a wonderful relaxing weekend. The view from the house goes straight to the mountains, fantastic. The house itself is very nice and cozy furnished. There is attention to details. I personally really liked the bathroom, very beautifully done. Shanae and Marjan met us and showed us around the house. They are wonderful, lovely people. I hope, once we would have the opportunity to return.

Lovely little traditional cottage in a huge garden at the entrance of the forest. The cottage is situated at the end of a gravel road, it is super cute with reminders of traditional country life in Hungary. However there is a large bathroom with a bathtub and a showertray and the kitchen is fully serviced as well. You enter the cottage into the kitchen diner, that has a large Hungarian style dutch oven and a long, wooden table in it for friendly chats during long winter nights. The two bedrooms are opening from either side of the diner. The cottage has 60cm thick walls, lovely little windows and it felt very cosy on a cool, autumn evening. There is a very interesting pond/pool at the side in the garden, fed by a spring possibly and maybe used to breed trout formerly. There is also a hot tub in the garden. Unfortunately I stayed only one night, but would love to explore the garden, the house and the surroundings. There is a large parking lot, an outside pizza oven, bbq area as well
