Chalet vacation rentals in Carpathian Mountains

What to say first ? We were so lucky to book Pawel's mountain wood house for Christmas...it was like a dream. You are out of civilisation, lost in the mountains, with all you need to free your mind and spirit from all the everyday negativity. We are more than happy to have had the chance to pass 3 beautiful night over this dream house. And the host, Pawel, he was made for this life. He knows the mountains very well, he loves his job and you can see his passion on evry word he speaks out. He came to visit us every afternoon, he brought us extra food as we didn't want to go out of the house and he helped us with everything thing to have the best days on this vacation. We loved Nowy Targ, we loved Zakopane, we loved polish people and for sure we will be back because once you have discovered this place, you can never forget it. Thank you Pawel for everything ! It was a great honour living this life even if it was for only three days.... P.S : some photos that reflect our happiness

המקום של אנה הוא ממש גן עדן, יפה, פסטורלי, נראה כאילו לקוח מגלויה. הצימר נקי מאוד ויש בו הכל. אנה הייתה אדיבה ושירותית וזמינה בכל שעות היום, תמיד עם חיוך. שהינו במשך 6 ימים עם שני ילדים שנהנו ממגרש המשחקים בחוץ. ללא ספק נחזור שוב ונמליץ לכולם.

Wir hatten ein schöne Zeit. Emanuela war eine sehr große Hilfe, Sie war sehr zuvorkommend und bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Wir waren 7 Personen in der Unterkunft, es hatte alles was man braucht und entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Sehr empfehlenswert.

This was our second visit here after two years, and we enjoyed it just as much. The cabin is cozy, surrounded by fir trees, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. It’s best suited for two people. We found clean towels and house slippers. The kitchen is mostly equipped, but there were no coffee capsules for the espresso machine. There’s also a classic coffee maker, but it was a bit dirty. Private road access and parking. In front of the cabin, there’s a fire pit and a grill area, but unfortunately, the available grill isn’t very practical - it’s a round, legless model and quite dirty. There are also no cleaning tools. There are a few medium and large-sized dogs in the yard. They are friendly but quite persistent when it comes to food. We had a good time, but the cabin felt better maintained during our first visit. Still, we recommend it for a few peaceful nights in the heart of nature!

Anna’s place exceeded all our expectations. It was beautifully clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, with two comfortable living areas that gave everyone plenty of room to relax. The children absolutely loved it. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier. The surrounding area was stunning—set off the main road and surrounded by nature, with some lovely local walks right from the doorstep. Be prepared for some quite steep hillsides, but the views are well worth it! All in all, we thought it was excellent value and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed place to stay in Poland.

Jan’s property was absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I decided to book a spontaneous 2 day trip to get into nature and came upon this beautiful farm. We were very lucky to find this place available. The farm was so pretty. We loved seeing all of the animals on the farm, and enjoying the surrounding scenery as well. The dogs and cat are very friendly+respectful so feel free to bring your own furry friend along to relax with you on holiday😇👍 One dog named Andy lead us on a morning walk in the woods and took us to a bench that overlooked a small valley, a scene straight out of a fairy tale! I personally thought the alpacas were the cutest, I also got to see an emu for the first time in my life. Jan recommended a very nice local hike to a castle nearby so we spent our day enjoying that :) The castle was one of many to see in Slovakia, but very stunning to see with your own eyes. Do not miss your chance to experience this lovely region, you will regret it!

We celebrated our friend's bachelor party at the Wooden Cottage, and it was fantastic! The place was immaculate, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We loved the spacious outdoor area, perfect for BBQs, and the jacuzzi was a hit, providing a relaxing touch to our stay. Highly recommended for a memorable gathering!

Estuvimos 10 amigos muy cómodos, con espacio para todo, sauna y jacuzzi top! Muy bien aclimatado, y unas vistas inmejorables. Para terminar el viaje, la última noche nevó y nos levantamos con una postal de ensueño!

The stay was amazing. Everything looked just like the pictures and the property is beautiful. The house, with its vintage accents, was just like in the photos. We liked that it has everything you need, lot of space, the hot tube, the barbecue area and the fire pit. Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed. Two things I would improve in the future if possible, one would be that the room outside the house - the tiny house - does not have a bathroom, it would have been great if it would have a tiny tiny bathroom to not have to go outside and then in the bigger house at night. The second thing would be the frying pans, they stick 😆 but that is workable. When I heard about electric heating for the entire house except the living room which has the fireplace I thought that maybe it won't be warm enough (with 2 small children) but it was perfect. Thank you, Andrei, for being such a wonderful host! Definitely will come back again in the summer for the pond.

Fajne miejsce. Dobra lokalizacja niedaleko stoku, latwy dojazd do Zakopanego. Domek ma wszystko czego potrzeba, super salon z kuchnia, gdzie mozna grac w planszowki, jacuzzi robi robote!

Ein Traum von einem Chalet, wir waren zu 7 dort und haben jeden Moment genossen, egal ob Whirlpool, Kamin, Billardtisch oder Grill, alles war super und wurde uns von Jan bereitgestellt und vorbereitet. Am Ankunftstag hat Jan uns sogar eine Flasche Wein und Kaffee als Welcome Geschenk gegeben und der Wihrlpool war schon vorgeheizt. Man kann hier auch mit der Familie und Kindern Urlaub machen, da Jan hier auch Kinderspielzeug, einen kleinen Spielplatz und andere Dinge für Kinder hat. Die Skipiste war von hier in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder besuchen und können sie nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Every was as per description/ pictures. Nice location, even if a car is mandatory in order to get there. Beautifully furnished and with all the amenities needed for our stay. We had a very nice stay and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Krásne ubytovanie v tichom prostredí. Perfektne vybavený dom so vsetkým čo potrebujete, uprostred prírody. Veľký pozemok na športove vyžitie, grilovačka a varenie gulášu k tomu 😊.

We had a lovely weekend stay in Tapolca! Judit was a great host, who met us when we arrived after giving clear instructions, showed us the house and gave recommendations for the area. She answered us very quickly with each inquiry and the check out process was just as efficient. You definitely need a car as the town is quite small, so to explore more of the other towns its a huge benefit as we didn't see much public transport. And there are plenty of spaces to park close to the house. It was a perfect little get away stay and it had all the facilities you might need. It is probably even better during the warmer summer/spring months but even in chilly February it was a great location that kept us warm and toasty.

We had a fantastic week in Chalet Jasna. It is decorated to a high standard and feels very cozy and the perfect temperature all week! It felt very private, we weren’t aware of anyone else in the building. It had everything we needed for the week and Erik was very responsive with any questions we had. There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance and a big supermarket was only 10 mins away. An excellent location if skiing in Jasna, the buses are very frequent and the busy stop is right outside the door. There is a lovely ski locker just beside the bus stop which is very convenient with all your ski stuff. We would thoroughly recommend this flat, thank you for having us!

Bardzo miły gospodarz. Bardzo dobry kontakt. Interesował się nami podczas pobytu, dopytywał czy wszystko jest w porządku. Miejsce bardzo wyszukane. Robi wrażenie sama lokalizacja jak i budynek. Fajna przygoda pomieszkać w takiej łodzi. Bardzo miłym zaskoczeniem było gdy musieliśmy przerwać pobyć z powodu choroby dzieci, a gospodarz zwrócił nam część środków (mimo tego ze oferta była bezzwrotna). Polecam wszystkim spragnionym fajnej przygody.

The house is beautiful and located in a quiet neighborhood and has a very beautiful view of the lake. We found the fire burning before arriving. The house was warm and the host received us with an excellent reception. The house is clean and beautiful and has all the necessities except a water kettle. We did not find it. Other things are excellent and available.

Spędziłam w tym domu miły weekend z przyjaciółmi. Dom jest dobrze wyposażony, są wszystkie niezbędne naczynia, garnki i sprzęt. Wieczorami nękały nas szerszenie, ale gospodarz obiecał się tym zająć. Mimo tej niedogodności cały pobyt zdecydowanie na plus!
