Enjoy this charming 1950's farmhouse, situated on 150 acres of countryside. Within an easy drive of Carlton, McMinnville, and Dundee—it's an ideal location for the exploring the area's many offerings. The house is well-appointed and surrounded by abundant gardens, towering cedar and fir trees—plus, a flock of chickens, three heritage sheep, and our Bengal cats add interest to the place. We live on the property (next door) with ample privacy/gardens between our place and the farmhouse.

The cottage has 2 master suites, a full kitchen, a large living room with cable TV, internet, books and games and a private back yard. The cottage shares a wall with our private home. There is NO washer/dryer. There is off-street parking. The cottage is ideal for couples or families staying in the area.

McMinnville Farm with a view, close to town!

The brick home sits in the middle of about a 100 acre farm, of which 90 acres are hazelnuts. It sits on a hill, bordered by the North Yamhill River on one side and Hwy 47 on another side, with Poverty Bend Rd on the 3rd side. On the 4th side are grass seed fields belonging to another farmer. We will generally be available, but not intrusive. You might see John and Judy weeding the flower beds or picking apples or figs!! We can also take you wine tasting if you like!!

Welcome! The Cuvée Cottage will be your home away from home. We are located 2 blocks from downtown Carlton in the heart of Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The 1937 cottage was remodeled in 2019. We have kept a lot of its character while making it a cozy and comfortable space to relax in. The home is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay in wine country! Relax in comfortable queen beds in each room with private decks to enjoy the wines you’ve picked up from the day.

Stunning vineyard views and country setting. Not suitable for high-maintenance guests! NO kitchen or fridge. NO inside hot water. Private outside shower with hot water. Camp cooler available on request.
