Our retreat consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bathroom and 1 living room equipped with a small kitchen and a barbecue outside. In the parish there is a pharmacy, supermarkets, gas station and restaurant that belongs to the owner of the bungalow where you can have lunch at an affordable price. 5 minutes from the river and the chapel of S. João with pool and barbecue area, benches and tables. 20 minutes away you can enjoy Esposende beach and Cabedelo, 20 minutes from Barcelos and 40 minutes from Porto

Beautiful country house

Modern country house with large garden and animal backyard ideal for a break from the city movement. The coldest days invite to a evening by the fireplace where you can get cosy and watch the fire dance as the wood burns. It is a quiet place with a good neighborhood. The historic center of Viana do Castelo is a 10 minutes drive as well as several beaches such as Cabedelo beach, where you can practice various water sports such as surfing, windsurfing or paddle. Five minutes from supermarkets.

The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.

You will start your stay as a grandmother's house: a delicious snack with Portuguese products. The property has 3 houses that accommodate up to 16 people together; it has gardens, swimming pool and private parking. (larger house hosts 8 pax, Lagar 6 pax house and Pirate's house 2 pax). The property is 1 hour drive from Porto, Guimarães, Caminha and Spain; 30 minutes from Braga, Viana do Castelo and Ponte do Lima and 10 minutes from Barcelos. The beach is a 30-minute drive away.

Com água quente e ondas no interior e uma piscina no exterior com água salgada e uma fabulosa vista sobre o rio Cávado, e espreguiçadeiras. Esposende é uma pequena cidade com rio, mar, montanhas e pinhal. Caminhadas à beira rio com lugares fantásticos para comer peixe fresco e marisco. Uma cidade de pescadores, peixe e marisco sempre frescos.

My place is wonderful for families looking for peace and quiet. A few minutes from Viana do Castelo, Barcelos, Esposende or the oldest village in Portugal, Ponte de Lima. Excellent for families with children. Surrounded by green fields and woods, the Atlantic Ocean is also about 10 minutes away, with fabulous beaches between Esposende, Viana do Castelo or Moledo. The Gerês mountain range is about 40 minutes away. The city of Braga is about 30 km away and Spain is 35 km away.

Cascata Studio

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

City of Barcelos Stadium House

Perfect for couples or small families who want to get to know the city of Barcelos. The location is ideal for enjoying the best of both worlds: the city, being able to see a football match at the stadium located 400 meters away or enjoy the surrounding nature. Barcelos has several tourist attractions including a pottery museum, a tower overlooking the city and a river beach. Esposende, with beautiful beaches, is a 20-minute drive away.

Exceptional location! Magnificent view of the beach, just in front of the private balcony in 2º floor, lots of sun and natural light in all the apartment. A beautiful green park at the other side of the street whith an amazing pedestrian and ciclo via along the Cávado river. The cozy apartment you can see in the photos...is realy nice and super comfortable for 2 persons. Really safe neighborhood all around.

Here it is wonderfully peaceful & surrounded by fragrant eucalyptus forest. A saltwater pool is available for refreshing baths for our guests. The flower-rich swing offers our guests space to linger. The Atlantic coast is (12 minutes) away with many beaches & restaurants.
