Cottage vacation rentals in Captiva Island

This is a beautiful home. Well appointed and well maintained. Everything was spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! The host thought of almost everything. Kayaks, bicycles, pool towels, etc. My only recommendations for improvement would be facial tissues and fans for sleeping. That’s it! That’s all I could think of.

Séjour très agréable, calme une vrai vacance, belle maison propre, piscine et spa, et la maison était équipé de tout, rien ne manque. De très belles chambres avec des lits très confortables. La cour arrière donne sur un petit canal, de toute beauté de voir les bateaux passer, les gens nous salut. Très agréable. Tout est à proximité, épicerie, magasin, resto, la marina TARPON POINT à voir wow de wow tant la vue avec les bateaux que les restos succulent et les boutiques. A tout les samedis matin, à environ 10 minutes de la maison il y a un marché en pleine air, le Market Farm, super bien, et après à côté il y a le restaurant le Rusty’s pour le dîner belle terrasse. Et tout c’est endroit avec la possibilité d’amener votre chien. L’hôte Ingrid est très gentille, comique, et répond très rapidement à vos questions. C’est une maison à réserver. We absolutely loved our stay here on Pine Island. The home and the yard around the home was so peaceful. You are far enough away from neighbors next door that you don't hear them. People across the canal were very friendly and always said good morning when I was out on the pier drinking my coffee. The island itself was amazing and driving from one end to the other took about 25 min. There are a lot of great hiking spots at the different preserves you can go to. There's also the Calusa Historical trail which was cool. An important thing to note is that there is no beach on the island, there are a few spots to put your feet in the water but no actual beach. We knew this when we booked and had scheduled in a beach day trip to Sanibel Island which is about 1.5 hours away when it's busy. Matlacha is a town on an island in between Pine Island and Cape Coral which has a bunch of cute shops but is still recovering from the hurricane. Overall we had an amazing trip and can't wait to come back

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal. We walked to the beach and back multiple times throughout the day. The home had great items to bring to the beach and plenty of towels. The pool was wonderful as well. Highly recommend this location for a small family or group! We would love to come back again!

The house was perfect. Very well equipped, good quality kitchen tools, everything needed to cook. All the beach gear and toys for the kids were a big + for us! Location is amazing, quiet, peaceful and super close to the beach. Ryan is a great host, super responsive and helpful. Loved the filtered water system in the house, no need to buy water!

Thank you Jodi and Steve for being great hosts! Your place was perfect for us, and you provided everything we needed and more! My boyfriend and I were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I loved the view from the living room and sitting on the deck watching the boats go by. It was a perfect location if you have a boat and want to explore all the nearby islands, which we took full advantage of. Restaurants were also close by and golf cart rental options were available. Thanks for everything, I would definitely go back! Also, I loved the decor, it made the place feel very cozy and calming.

We loved our stay here. The Enchanted Cottage is a cozy little oasis and perfect for a nature-lover like me! We loved taking the kayaks out on the river and seeing alligators, dolphins, and iguana. It was also a short walk into town for restaurants, bars, ice cream, and events in the park. Our dog loved visiting the Bonita dog beach. Taco Tuesday at Maria's is a must! We had such a relaxing stay. 8 days here was not enough and I hope to be back some day.

Felt right at home and Federico was quick to respond. House was cozy beds were comfy and I would definitely stay again.

We had two families and we both enjoyed our stay! The house was very accommodating for both our families with kids. We all enjoyed the salt water pool and patio. The information binder provided gave clear instructions for our stay and provided many recommendations for restaurants and activities to do. Stu and Cathy were very helpful and even personally check on us during our stay!

Tina was very responsive to our requests and messages. We were specifically looking for a place with a hot tub that was quite and private. The hot tub was good and clean. The house was clean and stocked for what we needed. The only constructive criticism I would offer is blackout curtains for the bedroom as the Wife likes to sleep in and it was difficult for her since the sun shines right in the bedroom at sunrise. It was fine for me as I am an early riser, but a curtain would be helpful to give the option for the weary traveler. I would also recommend a small step for entry and exit of the hot tub. Thankfully my legs are long enough I was able to get in and out, but it was a little challenging for my wife. Tina was very thoughtful with her suggestions of what to do locally and was quick with responses to any of my messages. We really enjoyed the place and if we are ever back in that part of the state we would absolutely rent this place again!

Nice space to stay for a get away, or if you are out of town working.

Great location!! Beds were great. Could use some updating. House was clean. Definitely when staying here you have to buy your own toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. We got there and used bathroom twice and had no toilet paper. Air conditioning works well. Lots of extra bedding and towels. We will definitely book agian. Also we really enjoyed the pool.

This was my first AirBnB booking and it was better than I expected! We had 6 adults on this trip and the house was perfect for us. We loved the location, the house was well stocked, and was plenty big for us all! Check-in was easy, we had no issues with anything, and would absolutely stay here again!

Clean and spacious inside with a large yard for dogs on a quiet street. I would definitely stay if I return to the area. 5 stars.

Michael and Lorna were super friendly and easy going but, at the same time, respected our privacy. The guesthouse was super clean with state-of-the-art appliances and had absolutely everything we needed to prepare our own meals in the beautiful kitchen. The pool area was gorgeous. The weather was on the cool side while we were there, so we didn't get in the water, but we loved sitting outside in the patio area enjoying the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. As an extra added bonus, they have two adorable puppies that were out a few times a day. We loved our extended stay at Las Tortugas Azules and would definitely consider staying there again if in the Naples area.

Alina’s house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, close to everything, easy to get to. Alina was a perfect host—responsive and flexible.

We had a great time staying here! The home was beautiful with all the beach supplies one could want. As someone who drove their boat up, the dock had great cleat availability and we had no problems getting a spot. One of the easier places to dock at that I have stayed overnight. Home also has everything for cooking and good wifi for being on an island. Loved the vibe of LGI, watching the sunset, and exploring the surrounding islands. Would definitely stay again!

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Julia's cottage. It is in a beautiful setting with huge trees, yet minutes from groceries and conveniences. Walkable neighborhood. The house is spacious and airy and impeccably clean. Very nice decor which lends to the peaceful getaway feeling. We were there for a combo of remote work and birding and nature. It was very convenient for Sanibel, Corkscrew and dinner/beach in Naples. We loved Estero and hope to return next year.

The Cozy Cove was just that! I needed a reset and get away from the madness of life and as soon as I entered the space I knew I'd get what I needed and more. I am a stickler for cleanliness...so when I walked in and immediately smelled freshness, I was beyond ecstatic. It was small but well thought out. The way the space was decorated made you feel at home. I love being outside so the various sitting spots were wonderful for enjoying tea and journaling in the mornings and a nice fireside chat in the evenings. I cannot wait to return! 5 stars indeed:-)

I stayed at bitty beach house with my 2 adult sons for 5 nites it was great. We caught snapper, sea trout, snook& catfish in canal. Great location close to beach, Lovers key, short drive to Fort Meyers beach & easy access to hwys.
