Monthly Rentals in Capertee

I stayed at Pearson's Cabin at Capertee Valley Retreats for two nights over New Year's with my daughter and our dog, and it was exactly the peaceful, digital-free getaway we were hoping for. The setting is even more beautiful than the photos suggest, with its serene surroundings, breathtaking views, and overall tranquility. Peter gave us very clear and helpful directions to the cabin and greeted us warmly on arrival. He also kindly invited us to use the pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed—thank you so much, Peter and Rosemary! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat to immerse yourself in the Australian bush while enjoying the comfort of a well-appointed cabin (with the most comfortable mattress ever!), this is the perfect spot. Great for those hoping to bird watch and see large groups of kangaroos in the wild. Now that I have welcomed a new year by watching the sun rise over a mountain, I am spoiled for ringing in future January 1sts in any other way.

I spent a relaxing week at this cosy and charming retreat with countryside side views. Tim and Chontelle were lovely, welcoming and accommodating. Chontelle checked in with me to make sure I had everything and even went out of her way to grab some groceries for me which I was very grateful for. The place was clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fireplace was a bonus for a toasty and warm experience. The farm animals were adorable, dogs were super friendly and cuddly. It was a peaceful, quiet and private getaway from Sydney’s noise and pollution! Highly recommend this unique rural retreat. A Truly Unique and Relaxing Stay We had an incredible time staying at this rustic and charming barn overlooking the stunning Capertee Mountains. The accommodation itself is full of character—cozy, unique, and perfectly blended with its beautiful countryside surroundings. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed. Maz was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The warm hospitality really added to the experience. Added bonus is the yummy brownies. It’s also conveniently located near Mudgee’s wineries, making it a perfect base for exploring the region while still feeling completely secluded and peaceful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil escape with unforgettable views and a touch of rustic charm.

Conmurra is so peaceful and beautiful. We spent hours sitting in the deck just looking at the view and listening to the birds. There were almost always wallabies just grazing around the deck. The walks on the property were great and the sunset tour of the sanctuary was awesome - Joel was so knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend doing this. We will be back!!
