Vacation rentals in Capáez

The house is so comfortable and is in such an amazing area of Puerto Rico. I would certainly stay again if given the opportunity. Driving to the house through the rain forest is such a unique experience, and the house being at the end of a driveway makes it very private. There are amazing things to do in the area, like coffee farm tours, river swimming, and is a fairly short drive to the beach, less than an hour. If you want to stay in a newly built home in a remote area, this is for you!

As a Puerto Rican from the metro area, it’s long been my dream to find peace en el campo, and Sendero Verde in Utuado delivered beyond imagination. The home is stunning, even more beautiful than the photos, with thoughtful details throughout, sculptures, nostalgic books, and a décor that honors Puerto Rican culture and folklore. The hiking trail on the property felt spiritual, the lush surroundings full of life. The bathroom was a highlight; showering among living plants felt like bathing under a waterfall. The hot tub? You’ll never want to leave. Beds were cozy, the kitchen pristine, and even during flash floods, we felt completely safe. I worked remotely from here and still can’t believe how comfortable and inspiring the space was. Nearby caves and ziplining are a bonus. Hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in; already dreaming of coming back.

This place was AMAZING! My family and I wanted to get out to the mountains for a few days. The location was perfect. And the view? Words can’t even describe. Unlike a lot of Airbnb’s, this one had everything you could possibly want. I’m talking flashlights, board games, firewood, seasons and spices… literally everything. If you’re looking for a mountain retreat , this is exactly what you need.

We had a bit of a hiccup finding the location at first. Google maps saved the day vs Apple Maps! Enrique/Gabriela’s place is along a remote narrow hill, but the place itself was larger than expected and very cozy with the bay windows overlooking the mountains and general area. We felt very immersed in nature on our trip and didn’t feel the desire to escape into the downtown area as much. Be prepared for super narrow and curvy two-way roads along the way. It humbles you as a driver. Exceptional cabin with a breathtaking aesthetic!

Despite the bad weather during our stay, we were able to enjoy peace in a cozy and comfortable environment. The place was clean and equipped with all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. Esteban was always available to assist with our needs, and finding friendly and helpful people like him is a real plus. Thank you so much, Esteban.

What an amazing night! Even through the rain it was perfect. Sleeping out in the open with the sound of coquis, rain & the river is something I’ll never forget. I visited alone and felt comfortable, safe and private the whole time. Both hosts are friendly and welcoming. All communication was great. I hiked down to the river the next morning after the rain, path was a bit muddy but still doable & unique experience. Maybe I was just lucky, but there were virtually no mosquitos during my stay!

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat! Awesome views, outdoor shower, kitchen, living room, dining room… you name it! Marisabel was really responsive.
