The Cozy Càsata! A Unique American-Style Cabin

The house is so comfortable and is in such an amazing area of Puerto Rico. I would certainly stay again if given the opportunity. Driving to the house through the rain forest is such a unique experience, and the house being at the end of a driveway makes it very private. There are amazing things to do in the area, like coffee farm tours, river swimming, and is a fairly short drive to the beach, less than an hour. If you want to stay in a newly built home in a remote area, this is for you!

Great place! Amazing views and not as hard to get to as some reviews would suggest, in my opinion. Great kitchen for cooking and even though the place is “isolated” in the mountains, it’s still pretty close to Adjuntas and groceries, restaurants etc. Would definitely love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay here. You’re surrounded by nature and can easily sit and watch the trees and birds and lizards for hours. Gabriela was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She has some excellent restaurant and swimming hole recommendations. We would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend this stay to anyone. The only thing I’d say is that it’s not waterfront, we had booked the place expecting to have water access on the property. If you don’t have a car (we didn’t for the first night), it’s impossible to get around as nothing is walkable. Just something to be aware of.

The accommodation is beautiful and peaceful. It was a great way to relax after an adventurous week in Puerto Rico. Bring everything you need for the night. You likely won’t want to leave. It isn’t necessarily far from town maybe twenty minutes but it’s very steep driving and remote feeling. I’m glad we could just arrive and settle in for the stay. There are cats and chickens too which we loved.

Despite the bad weather during our stay, we were able to enjoy peace in a cozy and comfortable environment. The place was clean and equipped with all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. Esteban was always available to assist with our needs, and finding friendly and helpful people like him is a real plus. Thank you so much, Esteban.

The cabin was beautiful and secluded, with a small walk from the cabin to the common kitchen area. The common kitchen had everything! The toilet area was well-maintained and clean. Alexa and Nando were very responsive to messages, and were super welcoming once we arrived at the property. We definitely enjoyed spending the night in an open space with the symphony of coquí around us.

Coral was so welcoming and made our family of 6 feel right at home. The home is gorgeous and has amazing views. The property is expansive and we got to walk the grounds. The pool made for a great pool party day for my daughter’s birthday. Coral even filled all the pool floats before our arrival. We had a great time!

La Moca House | Coffee Farm Stay

This house on stilts overlooks the Puerto Rican mountain rainforest and truly feels like you are in a lovely “middle of nowhere,” with terrific mountain views. The soundscape at night is amazing—cicadas and these nice frogs and that kind of thing, very pleasant to listen to while gazing at the clear and bright stars, for example. The spare but nice property has a well laid-out series of spaces to let you enjoy the views: a wrap-around balcony with chairs, a living space that has big French doors and windows to open to the outside, and a chill-out space under the house, which is in total shade and has a big couch and a dining table. The steep driveway down is totally driveable, but it takes a little faith as you turn from the road down, as you can’t see the path down ahead before you commit—I’m a skier, so this was no problem for me, but I would just suggest that any adventurous guest be bold. It’s the price of admission to a wonderful getaway. Sonia and Efrain were great hosts.

Relax with nature and enjoy waterfalls/river/pool

The outside area was great. The kids loved going to the waterfalls and hiking the river. Do NOT attempt to take a car down the driveway. Just park in the area at the top of the driveway and do the short walk down. Our kids enjoyed the dogs, which were always around, and were friendly.

What a great place! Rolando was a great host. Finding this place isn't the easiest (Puerto Rico doesn't really do addresses out in the country), but it's so worth it. I recommend staying at least two nights to really enjoy the charm of this tiny home in a laid back mountain town. Five stars. Would love to come back here if we make it to Puerto Rico again.

We loved this house and continue to rave about it now that we are back in Chicago. The house was spacious and super peaceful. We loved the massage chair and that we could relax and chat with friends as they cooked. The family area was large enough for all 5 of us to sit comfortably. Great water pressure. The beds were comfy. Bathrooms spacious. Excellent options to cool down (fans and air conditioners). We also appreciated that there were pods available for us to use to wash our clothes. The rain drizzle through the atrium sun roof was fun too. We were so relaxed that we would sometimes forget to turn on our phones and Marta disrupted what she was doing to come all the way to the house to respond to our questions. Thank you!!! We are from a large flat urban area and never quite managed the drive up or parking in the driveway. We would recommend that you brush up on tips for driving and parking in steep mountainous areas if your story is similar to ours.

I had a great stay at Marie Bernice's. The house is large and comfortable with a nice kitchen for cooking. The street is very private and quiet, so it's very peaceful. She was a very responsive and communicative host and when there was a brief power outage, she had a family member drop off candles and lanterns - they didn't end up being necessary as the power came on again shortly thereafter but I really appreciated her helpfulness in making sure I had supplies just in case. If I come back to Adjuntas, especially if I were coming with a group and required a generously sized home, I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a lovely stay!

10 out of 10 Stars ! ⭐️ Words cannot even begin to explain or describe the overwhelming beauty and natural puerto rican charm of this place. The pictures do not even do it justice, this is a place you have to experience first hand and in person. You will not be disappointed!!! Whether its for a family retreat or a solo trip to get away, meditate and refind yourself ... this is it. The easy access river in the backyard was great for a morning meditation, a dip and even for a small family gathering. The river goes right into Charco Los Morones - a very impressive scenary indeed. The host was attentive, friendly, present, and professional. If you need anything they are there for you at first call! We felt comfortable, at peace, and happy to be in a very special home and in a very special part of Puerto Rico. The two loving strays that live in front of the property made our stay even more special. All I can say is give the place a go, treat it with love, respect and ENJOY ⛰️🐕🇵🇷✨💯🤍

Our stay at Tonya’s place was incredible. If you’re looking for a place to relax, disconnect and enjoy the nature up in the mountains of Adjuntas, this is definitely the place. The house was lovely, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We could barely hear any noises, aside for the sound of the “coquís”:), so you’ll definitely get to enjoy the quietness and the beauty of it. The hostess was always attentive and easy to communicate. On one occasion they even got us bread, ham and cheese from the local panadería. And once we left they gifted us green plantains and malanga from their farm. Overall, this getaway was truly amazing and we’ll definitely consider to stay here again in the future:)

Everything went smoothly starting with check-in all the way through to the end of our trip. Be prepared for potential power outages and some adventurous steep narrow roads. However it all will be worth it it; Adjuntas is naturally stunning place and our lodging at Casa Campo made our stay all the more enjoyable. The house was impeccably clean and the monochromatic decorative details were quaint and eye pleasing. We had everything we needed to enjoy the sight of Adjuntas. My daughter enjoyed streaming entertainment (Roku) and the adults played table top games made available. Overall I could have not been more pleased with our lodgings. I highly recommend you try it out for yourself.

It was great! At the middle of mountains! Beautiful place! The only thing was that the floor was bit dirty. I imagine that is was cuz we are in the middle of dirt and mountains.

Pictures of the outside need updating, and the stove needs a lighter or matches to turn it on, it also had a few minor details that should be addressed, but overall it was amazing, the place is gorgeous and so peaceful, super comfortable and clean, the locals were so friendly, the weather was so nice and cool, we had a great time, so we are definitely coming back.

Incredible experience; the hiking trails lined tree ferns and cacao, papaya and banana. The hosts are king and communicative, the place is enchanting and worth it all for the river. Don’t miss this; my partner and I do a lot of trekking and adventuring….neither of us has ever experienced the majesty of this river spot. Swimming through the canyon to the waterfall is an experience I’ll never forget. Thank you Alexa!! I even bought a handful of her homemade healing salves that will make for great gifts to bring home to friends and family 🙏🏼
