Villa vacation rentals in Canterbury

Just what we needed. The location was super convenient, and we felt right at home. It was great having a place to ourselves with multiple bedrooms, a kitchen, and dishwasher right in the heart of Christchurch. Would gladly stay again.

Elizabeth’s place was nothing short of amazing. The entire place was spotless and we loved the rustic vibes of the cottage. Both bedrooms were thoughtfully furnished and had more than sufficient heating in winter. The living room was large and spacious, just a wonderful space for 4 adults to gather. Kitchen utensils were extremely clean and new as well! The surroundings of the cottage was extremely peaceful, a wonderful place on the patio to stargaze too. The cottage sits in the middle of an expansive estate, good for a quiet evening stroll. We loved that Elizabeth’s place was near a few wineries and just a short drive to the supermarket in Amberley. Elizabeth was friendly, responsive and left easy to follow instructions regarding her cottage. My friends and I had a really great time there! Dusty the dog was a bonus for us! He was super friendly and playful. A joy to be around! We definitely recommend the place!

This home is in a beautiful and serene setting. It was about 1.5h from Christchurch airport and was the perfect antidote to the craziness of flying. At night, the only thing we could hear was the breeze and the gentle rain. I’d love to stay for a week. Annie was incredibly friendly and the welcome basket with homemade granola was tops. The basket also included potato chips made from the potatoes grown on the property! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and my kid got to try Milo for the first time.

We had a lovely stay while we were in town over the weekend. The place was very tidy and had everything we needed. Steven and Mei were friendly, responsive and flexible with our check in time. They left us clear instructions and checking in and out was a breeze. Thank you very much!

This house has everything you need...exceptionally well equipped in the kitchen, very spacious for 6 people , warm and quiet . The weather was moist for most of our stay but we all loved the sound of the stream running through the side of the property and all the lovely trees and birds!!Would definitely go back .

Lovely getaway for 3 nights. Had everything we wanted plus offered a quiet peaceful environment. Spa pool was a nice bonus.

Spectacular view and comfort. Janice had every detail covered. Directions were excellent. Very easy to find location. The inside and outside was gorgeous. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Hot tub jets and temperature was ideal. Very spacious (there were 7 of us … from 30’s to 60 years old). Janice was prompt in responding and thorough. Close to town … restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery stores, gas stations, Dusky dolphin snorkeling, kayaking, sightseeing fur seals, zip lining and so much more. We HIGHLY recommend Janice’s place.

Such a gem of a house on the edge of the Black Estate winery! Peaceful abode with Japanese flair, surrounding by a stunning garden, you will want to stay put, relax and enjoy the scenery! We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was a great place to stay with a big group, bedrooms were really big and comfortable, lounge and open plan kitchen was super spacious! Really warm in the summer!

Sent my employee down for work and he was grateful that I locked in a great place to stay. No dramas, easy to find and access. Loved the views. Such a great place.

Big group of us stayed for the marathon and had a great time! Plenty of space for 15 of us to sleep, pool table and dartboard kept us entertained for hours. Outdoor BBQ area was great too. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Great place, kids friendly, spa needs to be upgraded but pool and outside sitting area is awesome,would love to stay again 😊

The house is tidy and clean, the owner is hospitable, and the room is comfortable.
