The place is just stunning. The rooms are well decorated, spacious and clean. Within the property there is an excellent restaurant that serves delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. Overall the staff and the place are superb! Warmly recommended 😀

Great!!! A place in the middle of a beautiful and quiet valley, in which we have rested and recharged the batteries! Both Aitzol and Ahinoa a love, always ready to attend and delight you with their home cooking and their desserts or their magnificent breakfasts. The truth has surprised me very much, I will definitely repeat the experience! Thank you for everything!

With our family (including two children from 3 and 5) we stayed with Aitzol and Ainhoa in the Casona for five nights and that was very nice! They cooked deliciously for us (both breakfast and dinner), the children were able to enjoy themselves in the garden and the Casona felt like a castle. But the most special was their hospitality, even to the children. They actually didn't want to leave. About the area also something than praise: we understand that they fell in love with this valley. We made beautiful hikes and also visited a small animal park and a cave on the advice of Aitzol and Ainhoa. Long story short: they were very nice days!! Only point of attention for families with (small) children: it is an old house and therefore a bit noisy. We have not been bothered by others, but it is useful if your own children are not too noisy (they did their best and we had no complaints, but still a small challenge :))

Aitzol and Ainhoa are extremely welcoming and always attentive hosts and I felt very comfortable in their beautiful home. The location is superb, in a small hamlet along the Soba valley with spectacular scenery all around and beautiful walks directly from the house. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served on the terrace, all delightful with fresh local ingredients. I look forward to returning!

Cozy and spacious room, with taste in decoration, and perfectly clean. Lots of silence and intimacy. A varied common spaces to be, depending on the time of day, inside and especially outside the house: for the aperitif we sat in the shade of the bamboo forest, with a great breeze, and in the afternoon we had a good time chatting in the courtyard. Abundant and very good breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, but leaving complete independence. At the farewell I bought a basket of produce from a local farmhouse at the farewell. Although the house is secluded, you reach the village on foot in 5 minutes (bar-restaurant with home-cooked, well-cooked food menu). Surroundings of all kinds (walks from the house, Indoor Cantabria, Santoña, Laredo and Noja beaches 15 minutes away, Santander and Bilbao 50 minutes away). A dream.

Alicia was an excellent host. She was very flexible with the check-in hours and was really kind, always taking care of us. The property was very peaceful and just 10 minutes walk from the center of the village. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay at La Casa de los Miradores located in a riverside village. We were looking for a place near Santander that offers a richer experience than the typical hotel stay. This property was perfect! One of the best things about this house is the namesake “Mirador”, a glass enclosed sitting room that makes for an amazing place to enjoy the views of the rolling hills. We stayed on the upper level which gives you a lot of privacy since you have the whole level to yourself with an open “yoga area” plus a private bedroom/bathroom. The main level is available for use and features a gourmet kitchen and living area with doors that open to the lawn. The other highlight are the hostesses, Pilar and Isabelle. They are fun and easygoing. Isabelle is a native Cantabrian and can give you tips on local sites, restaurants and day hikes. The location is perfect - an easy day trip to Santillana del Mar and all the gorgeous beaches. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Jhousy’s bed and breakfast and it was so incredibly special. The location is simply awe inspiring and breathtaking, and the home itself is beautifully done and perfect for a romantic getaway. Better yet, the location was a perfect base camp for exploring the Picos De Europa national park. Since it was out of season, we did not get to enjoy the traditional service provided by the Bed and Breakfast, but Jhousy was incredibly thoughtful and provided us with plentiful breakfast and even a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Jhousy also even coordinated a return trip from the Ruta De Cares with an amazing 4x4 tour company that was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. Everything about this place was perfect, and I can’t underscore enough how much I would love to come back to this place.

Family weekend in Las Gallinas de Maria. We booked 4 rooms, 3 doubles and 1 quadruple. Every room is different and all has its charm; there's no shortage of detail in any of them. Very quiet area in the middle of nature, where in the morning you only hear the singing of birds. The hosts, both Maria and Unai, have made us feel at home and have also advised us very well to get to know the area and to enjoy their gastronomy. They prepared the two days a spectacular breakfast for us. When good things come together and want to please, the result is unbeatable. Thank you for everything, we will visit you again.

We stayed 5 nights at Hanne’s & Jasper’s place and truly loved our time there. It’s a very cozy countryside house right by a blueberry field, and you are a short car ride away from all the stunning beaches. I had such a wonderful, 10 days stay! I had a very clean, quiet beautiful room with a lovely view on the wild green countryside, with peaceful cows and horses. Gema and her family are truly nice, warm lovely people, it was a pleasure to talk with them. Breakfast was abundant and very good. I will surely come back and I totally recommend you to stay there. The position is strategic and I’ve been able to drive all along pays basques, Cantabria and Asturias in a very comfortable time, reaching without effort all the famous beaches and towns. It has been a wonderful weekend, in my case I was looking for a weekend of tranquility and relaxation, and of course I exceed expectations, to say that anyone who wants another type of stay is also possible ,both Maria and Unai make your stay super cozy, as well as the house,they pamper every detail with the client, the rooms of 10,and good to say breakfast...very good... homemade,we also dine there and everything is also exquisite. Merche and Beltrán, the owners of the house, who also live there, are very nice. They were available for whatever we needed. The full breakfast included is a plus. They are also flexible, and we could have breakfast whenever we wanted. Everything was very clean. We felt very comfortable with them 😊 Thank you for everything

We absolutely recommend this place !! It’s hard to say what we preferred as host were really nice, place, bedroom and bathroom are really good and breakfast soooo good with fresh bread and homemade jam every morning. The environment is awesome and peaceful. A relaxing stay in the middle of the nature is waiting for you !!
