Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Cantabria

If you are looking for a quiet, historical, peaceful experience in northern Spain, this is it. The stone house is modernized and comfortable with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen is excellent and it was wonderful to have an outdoor space to eat and lounge and enjoy the setting. We stayed five days and there are endless day trips to take to nearby towns, beaches, mountains, markets and restaurants. Diego was a fantastic host and Marta opened the house for us. Both responded immediately to any of our needs. We loved it.

There was nothing to complain about for us. A beautiful house in a quiet and better residential area. The central location to the beach and the town center is great. We received a lot of information from Maria in advance and everything went wonderfully at the reception. We stayed there for 2 weeks and since the weather was changeable, the big house was great. The garden with the old trees provides shade and the evening sun is nice for a sundowner. Our dog also felt very comfortable on the fully fenced grounds. So if you want to come to this corner with a dog - or children, because the cellar is full of children's toys - you're in the right place. Thank you, dear Maria, for having us in your home.

The house was great, very clean and comfortable and decorated and furnished with many personal and attractive touches. Being on the edge of the village, with wonderful views, it felt very private, especially as we used the covered outside seating area for meals. Highly recommended.

An ideal house for a quiet weekend to enjoy the nature and landscapes of Cantabria. The host was very attentive , friendly and the things we had were sorted out at the moment so I have nothing but good words for them, highly recommended , we were able to enjoy the stay a lot!

We had a great time at Gema's place. We loved the area and returning every night to our "borrowed" house has been a pleasure. Phenomenal the attention and care Gema gave us.

The stay was wonderful. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos (the bathroom is better than in the photo) and is very clean, it looks brand new, it is tastefully decorated and everything is top quality. Mari has been lovely from the beginning, very friendly and helpful and recommending many things to do, the apartment is very close to Santander and several beaches and that is fantastic, in short a 10, we will repeat.

AMAZING stay at María's absolutely stunning home. No one wanted to leave and the Spaniards in our group were already plotting their return. (We would all return in a heartbeat but most of us live in Chicago.) As others have noted, it is even more beautiful than the photos and so incredibly peaceful. Additionally, María is an outstanding host, going above and beyond for us. She was flexible on our arrival time when it took us longer to get there than expected. She gave great recommendations and even delivered a second crib at 11PM. Thank you, María!

We stayed here three nights with our four children while exploring the Picos. The photos don’t do it justice. Incredible nice space with the most lovely patio. Very clean and private feeling. Potes is an easy ~8 min drive away for restaurants. You’re within an hour of several great hikes in the Picos de Europa. One hike we (which we unfortunately have time to do) departs right from behind the home. Host was very communicative and helpful. Hope to come back some day!

Raquel’s place was a real home from home. Cosy, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Raquel was a very gracious host and let us check in a bit early. The apartments location is to the north of the city. About 30 minutes walk to the city centre if you are reasonably fit or you can take the bus. It’s very well located for the northern coast with beautiful scenery and beaches. Highly recommend the walk from Playa Maruca round the coast to the city centre, past the lighthouse and peninsula. Really beautiful. Would definitely stay again at Raquel’s place and would highly recommend.

It was a lovely, pleasant and comfortable weekend. We loved everything, the location, the facilities, the hosts, the things to do nearby... we will definitely be back.

Elena' s place is so beautiful and comfortable. She provides lots of extra special touches like a welcome treat and hand cream and body lotion. The garden is a delightful sanctuary in the centre of an historic, bustling town. Elena was very helpful recommending resturants etc. She is very friendly and thoughtful. We highly recommended staying at Villa Solena.

The apartment is in the city center, so basically everything is reachable by foot. Javier is a really great host - he gave us recommendations for restaurants around the apartment and even forwarded our check-in, so we could immediately get into the apartment after arriving. Overall, everything was as he mentioned it in the description and we enjoyed our stay.

The stay was fantastic and Maria was charming at all times. We had a great time at his place. If we had to say something to improve, it would be the quality of the mattress and pillow in the master bedroom. In any case, we 100% recommend this accommodation. Thank you so much Maria

First of all, I want to highlight the kindness of Conchi and Ivan from the first moment, from when we arrived at the accommodation until we left. They were available to us at all times, advising us about the areas we could visit and delicious restaurants where we could eat. They are really helpful and nice. The accommodation was spotless and in a super quiet and cozy area, my parents and I felt right at home. It was in the heart of Santander, we walked everywhere and only took the car to go outside the city. To park there are several parking lots around, but it is true that we used to find parking in the blue zone easily practically nearby, so the experience of going by car has been excellent as well. All I can say to finish is that if I return to Santander at any time, I will repeat my stay with these wonderful hosts!

An ideal place to enjoy a few days of tranquility. The house is situated in a beautiful area, where you can breathe calm and nature. Irene, the host, was very helpful and kind at all times. Without a doubt, I would recommend and stay there again.

Beautiful apartment, very new, spacious. Not at all bothered by ambient noise. Great bed and lovely shower. Kitchen fully furnished. And a nice balcony!! And Fernando was very service oriented.

Lovely apartment, very comfortable, great location equal distance to beaches and old town, lovely walks in every direction, it’s hilly but everywhere is! Only note is the terrace is on the front porch, quite pleasant and gets the sun but not secluded/private. Luis was a fantastic host and we would stay again.

José Ramón's house is a great place to enjoy a few days of rest and beach! It has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable (which, together with the tranquility of the area, makes your rest perfect), it has a wonderful garden and, in addition, everything couldn't be cleaner! The location is very convenient to be able to walk anywhere, but far from the area that can be busier (now everything was super quiet) and having the garage space is another great advantage so you don't have to worry about the car. And, in addition to all this, José Ramón is a very great man. Thank you very much for everything! P.S.: if you go with kids (and, if not, also :-D), the beaches of Isla are another great plus!

Our stay at Maria Dolores's went very well: the accommodation is extremely clean and the beach is a 10-minute walk away, which is very nice with 2 small children. The big advantage: Maria Dolores is extremely kind and welcoming. Very proactive, and at the same time respectful of our privacy (because she lives in the apartment upstairs). Communication ++, I recommend it! Once again, thank you for everything.

Charo was fantastic, the duplex is beautiful with great views, super nice stay, swimming pool, jacuzzi and fantastic surroundings. A plus is the parking space in the same building. A 10 for the stay. Thank you for your kindness, Charo.
