Cottage vacation rentals in Canal Latéral de la Garonne

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful stone cottage, which more beautiful in real life than on the pictures. It is very quiet, beautiful country side which is 5 minutes from the village in car or 45 minute stroll. The countryside is hilly in the area. Valerie was very nice and helpful.

Very quiet peaceful night

We really enjoyed our stay here! 4 adults and 3 children aged 10-14. The villa is amazing with everything you could possibly need. It has been renovated to a very high standard which blends the modern and the traditional seamlessly. Beautiful views, quiet location, lovely pool. We really could not fault it. We have hired many villas and apartments over the years and this one is at the top level. All made better by the host (Elodie) responding to any issues almost immediately and the lovely sunshine we had all week! You will not regret booking this property!

The accommodations were very nice, you book what you see in the photos. Eric was very friendly and responded quickly and you can ask him anything he also recommends a lot, definitely worth his money

A wonderful stay, very nice domain with lots of animation, cozy gites, a host who leaves you in freedom but also very accessible and approachable with golden tips but also always interested in how things are really going. we would really recommend it to anyone both families with young children and older children. It is a beautiful area to explore and Anne Sophie, her husband Pascale and daughter Lily are incredibly attentive and sweet. Fantastic to be there!

Thierry's stay was great. If you are looking for peace in nature, this is the right place. The listing has everything you'll need. The coffee bean machine was delicious! On the hot days, we gratefully made use of the nice pool. The only consideration we would have is that 1 of the beds is in need of a new mattress, we solved it with extra blankets. The other beds were lovely! Thierry was a great host and the communication was good. We would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a lovely weekend in Cahors at Caroline's place! The listing is as described and is very well placed in Cahors. We found a free parking space near the property. Recommended 😊

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

Another memorable holiday second year on the trot. Fiona has thought of everything for a stress free family stay. Our kids love it and so do we. The swimming pool is perfect with great views of surrounding countryside and the play-barn is full of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. Great honesty bar system with chilled beers etc,,, and even frozen homemade meals for when you can’t be bothered to cook. Fiona gave us loads of tips and recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, foie-gras producer etc and each one of them was bang on the money for what we were looking for. Although not ones for going back to the same place each year, this one works for us so well we will be back next summer.

A pleasant stay at Olivier's. Host who is also very friendly, available and responsive by message. The house is spacious, well maintained. The location is quiet, not overlooked. Everything you expect for a weekend with friends in the countryside. The pool was very much appreciated in view of the heat. Games and equipment of all kinds available on site are also a real plus. We will keep fond memories of this stay and would recommend this place to everyone.

We had an amazing stay here, the setting is just fabulous with loads of outside space and a great pool area. The accommodation arrangement was perfect, as our kids had their own mini-suites which gave us all some privacy. The inside of the main gite, specifically the kitchen area and the showers, could could do with a bit of tlc, but this didn't affect our enjoyment and we would definitely recommend. Thankyou!

Jo and Paul are excellent hosts and couldn't have been more helpful in trying to make our stay a success. They are lovely people running a lovely gîte with everything you need, next to a beautiful pool. Highly recommended.

What a great stay in Jill and Simon's cottage! The cottage is very charming, perfectly equipped and nestled in a beautiful natural setting! We stayed there with our two kids and everything was perfect: the large outdoor pool, the huge garden where we were able to meet deer several times, the many nearby sites to visit...Jill and Simon were incredible hosts, with unbeatable kindness and hospitality that went a long way in making this stay unforgettable. We'll come back to that, that's for sure.

Small independent and functional house without a neighbor, very quiet in the forest. No noise. You can enjoy the birdsong and the forest. Complete equipment, including necessary basic products which is rare. Very nice hosting. It was perfect, thank you!

This is an animal lovers paradise! Sophie has all kinds of animals; 12 cats, 4 dogs, Baba the parrot, several birds, 4 donkeys, 2 ponies, ducks, chickens and fish. The pool was the highlight of the trip, giant and clean. We had lots of fun jumping in or cooling off when it got hot. The cottage is decorated with so many nice pictures and paintings, far more detail than we've seen with any other trip. It was also thankfully lovely and cool inside so sleeping wasn't an issue at all. The posh mattress in the master bedroom also helped. Wifi reception was excellent with around 15Mbps download speeds. The local area is fantastic, loads to see and do and local markets to visit. The village is just walkable for your morning bread, though I preferred the bakery in Lecture which was spectacular. Sophie was on hand for local recommendations on places to visit, restaurants to eat at or just for a chat. We had a super time on our Summer holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We had 10 dreamy days at Sonia and Samuel's. They were very welcoming and super attentive to our needs! We were even able to feed the animals with them, which delighted my 9-year-old daughter-in-law (and so were we). The setting is idyllic, the view of the countryside from the pool, the sunset and the stars well visible at night are breathtaking, the calm is very soothing. The house is super cool, which makes a lot of good in the heat. You just have to know that the pool and terrace do not directly overlook the house, it is just opposite crossing a very small street, but it is not very disturbing because there is never a passage:-) The area is sublime, the calm and the landscapes will be greatly missed. We will be back with great pleasure!
