Excellent for skiing at Timberland ski resort. Within 100 yards of the main lift. Easy walk. Excellent parking. Host was very responsive to questions.

House was great for a three family share. It is maybe a 5 min walk from Timberline’s First Flurries magic carpet area. We loved the indoor hot tub. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked to cook basic meals. We would book this house again.

Great stay! Right off the slopes at Timberline. Nice outdoor fire pit and jacuzzi. Loved the amenities. Close to Thomas and Davis towns. Thank you for a great week in the cozy West Virginian mountains.

Great home and location on the mountain. Just a short walk to the mid mountain chairlift. Ski in ski out is so convenient. Great view of sunsets from the large windows in the back of the home. Super cozy on the sectional sofa in front of the wood stove.

We absolutely loved this house! The kitchen was beautifully designed and incredibly well-stocked—perfect for cooking and gathering. Every detail throughout the home felt so thoughtful, from the extra touches that made our stay more comfortable to the overall cleanliness and organization. You can tell a lot of effort has been put into making guests feel welcome. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the slopes, and the home itself was cozy, spacious, and inviting. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

The house was perfect, a really cool ski holiday house with great bright rooms and conveniently a few steps away from the resort lodge and lifts. The bathroom and conservatory are great rooms to watch the world from, especially when it's snowy and the deer are relaxing in the yard. The house was very clean and everything was very straightforward. We would definitely come back. Thank you

Paige and Ashley responded very quickly when we discovered the AC wasn’t heating properly—they sent a technician within 30 minutes, which was much appreciated. All the rooms and bathrooms matched the photos posted by the host. They were also very flexible with our check-in and check-out times, which made our stay more convenient. The only downside was that when we arrived, there were quite a few dead flies and ladybugs on the floor, so I had to clean them up upon arrival. Overall, it was a great place to stay! Highly recommended!

Where to even start? This cabin was the absolute best. We went with a total of 8 adults and 6 children under the age of 5. The cabin was so much more spacious than the photos make it appear, which was a very pleasant surprise. The finished basement is huge and was a great space for the kids. The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious for us to cook meals and snacks. The beds were comfortable and the walls are thick and you can’t hear a lot of outside noise. The location is great - about 10 minutes to Davis and 15 to Thomas and plenty of hiking and other activities. Our Apple Maps didn’t route us to the right place, but G00gle Maps did, just as an FYI. Seriously can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay for a ski trip at Timberline. Good size and easily walkable to the bunny slope. The pictures are accurate and as described. Would definitely stay here again!

Great value for the price! The location was beautiful on the mountain surrounded by trees. It’s easy to get in and out but still felt very private. Checking in was easy and they provided a ton of great info on local options for state parks, hiking, places to eat, rafting, etc, The private access at Mirror Lake was nice and we enjoyed an afternoon kayaking and paddle boarding. I recommend this spot to groups of families looking for a fun mountain getaway. We were here in the summer but it would be great for skiing or snowboarding in the winter since it’s so close to the ski lodge.

This place is really close to the main ski lift. It is 30 second walk to the lift. It is hard to convey on a map. Great spot. Perfect size for a family of five.

A truly enchanting location that made for a relaxing and memorable few days of star gazing. Just the right combination of charm and comfort for spending some time in the wilderness. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful winter stay! The house was inviting and cozy, and as other guests have mentioned well appointed with comfortable beds.

We stayed at the cabin for my fiancé’s birthday weekend and had a great time! Not only was Sarah incredibly responsive and kind, but the house was exactly what we were looking for! Relaxing, comfortable, and lots of great hiking spots nearby. We’re already discussing future stays here!

We had a wonderful time at Kimberly’s place. We cooked all of meals and the kitchen had everything we needed…probably the best stocked kitchen we seen. Hot tub was awesome and we stayed in the “off” season so the neighborhood was super quiet, which we loved! Would definitely recommend!

We loved this home! It looks out at a beautiful lake and is surrounded with trees. Very private. The hot tub was fantastic. Looked out on lake as well. We loved loved loved the couches. They were the type that had buttons to position yourself as cozy as you wanted. The wood burning fireplace is wonderful so snuggled on the couch with a blanket in front of the fire reading a book. The best! There are 3 of them so everyone gets their space. We were there during a blizzard but the community plowed very quickly. Connie and Kimberly were the perfect host. Base Camp is perfectly located in the North Face neighborhood next to Timberline. It's a short walk to the bunny slope. We had kids ranging from ages 4 - 8 in our group and they could all handle the walk. The house must have been recently renovated and was lovely, and the gazebo over the hot tub was surprisingly useful in the bad weather that we experienced.
