A really nice, well-kept and spacious house with a large property which is completely surrounded by a hedge and fence in it, so you are undisturbed and the dog can run freely. In addition, there is a large, lockable shed on the property in which bicycles can be stored, among other things. We felt very comfortable and were able to recover super!

The chalet is exactly as described in the listing. It is very nice, cozy and practical. Everything was thought of and we were completely satisfied. Contact with Francesca was straightforward and reliable.

The location on the lake is very nice. The property is a little dark at the jetty, but from noon the sun is there. The kitchen is big. The beds were comfortable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos – spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The surroundings are calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. Near the center (the public transportation is a 5 minute walk away) The host was fantastic: very kind, super communicative, and always available if we needed anything. Everything was clearly explained, and he made sure we had access to all the amenities. This place is truly a hidden gem – the quality you get for the price is outstanding. Love this place, if you driving in Netherlands, then this place is perfect. You can easily reach Amsterdam and Volendam by car from here. Recommended!

A very nice and cozy place!

We enjoyed staying with Jaqueline and Nico very much. An enchanting cottage with everything you need and beyond! Even boat and bikes were present. Jaqueline and Nico were very nice hosts who always responded quickly and constructively to questions and took care of them. We will be happy to come back.

Joke's small apartment is highly recommended. I was there with my boyfriend for 5 nights and we felt very comfortable. Joke and her husband are very kind people. The apartment has everything you need and as a crowning glory a small private garden where you can sit super nicely. Everything is easy to reach. Would love to come again. :)

A very cozy vacation home with everything you need and much more. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the beach is within walking distance. There are many nice beach bars!

Jan is a wonderful host! We stayed for a month and felt right at home. My son especially loved the spacious garden with the trampoline, swing and also enjoyed the books, toys, and more. The location is perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close to the beach, the national park, grocery stores, and everything you need. We hope to return soon to relax, enjoy some BBQ, and soak up the sun. Very nice and lovingly furnished little house with good amenities and great outdoor area. You're right at home. In addition, Bart and Els are very nice hosts, easy to reach and flexible (with check-in times, for example). Definitely recommend!

Cleo and her Co-host Marleen were very welcoming and responsive. We felt at home. Lots of toys and games for younger children. Very cozy house. Naturally beautiful area good for hiking and biking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation was perfect, spacious, clean, well presented, comfortable. The games room and bikes were a nice bonus. The location was great for Amsterdam central, Leon and his family were happy to help with taxi service and it made it a super easy experience. It was also nice to come to a much quieter area to stay and escape the busy city. Leon answered all of our questions, explained everything well, you couldnt ask for more from an air BnB stay.

Cute little house with all the comforts and very quiet. Extra bedding. Free parking at the train station which is a 3-minute drive. And only 10 minutes by train to the heart of Amsterdam. Warm welcome. I highly recommend this listing!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with our 4 children. Merel was extremely responsive before and during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The house is about 25 minutes outside of Amsterdam which was perfect for us. The little town is lovely - really picturesque and some great restaurants and bars within 5-10 minutes walk. There was also a supermarket, coffee shop so you have everything you need. The house itself had lots of space and was very well set up for families - the children loved the hot tub! Fons was an amazing host and the house is fabulous. Great communication from start to finish, easy checking in/out and Fons was very helpful in recommending local amenities and travel routes into the centre of Amsterdam. If you’re looking for a great family home stay with a short trip into the main city, I would wholly recommend booking with Fons!

We were 6 adults plus one baby and had enough space. The house is in a very nice neighbourhood outside of amsterdam but still easy to access amsterdam, haarlem, etc. There were even bikes for free to use and some supermarkets in walking distance. Communication always friendly and helpful Would stay again 👍🏻

We had a great vacation in this house. The house is great in terms of amenities, appearance and garden and suitable for two families. The surroundings are beautiful and for active people who also want to travel on foot or by bike. Clear recommendation 🙌🏻

Mijntje was a great host with fantastic communication before and during the stay. We loved the interior style of the house, the little garden and the neighbourhood. It was super stylish, yet cozy. :-) Little tip: During the cold season make sure you have some slippers with you, as the flooring is partly made of concrete.
