Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Campanário

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft! Die Lage ist ideal – etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber mit einem schönen (aber sehr steilen) 30-minütigen Spaziergang gut erreichbar. In direkter Umgebung gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und einen super Obst- und Gemüseladen, in dem man zu einheimischen Preisen einkauft – ganz im Gegensatz zu den überteuerten Preisen in der Markthalle von Funchal. Zudem befindet sich eine der besten Bäckereien der Stadt in der Nähe – ein echtes Highlight! Die Unterkunft selbst ist top ausgestattet, sauber und bietet mit ihrer Terrasse einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Hafen und Teile der Stadt. Den ganzen Tag über genießt man Sonne, inklusive traumhafter Abendsonne. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Alles super! Die Kommunikation verlief problemlos. Die Lage ist optimal. Von dort aus kommt man über all gut hin und es gibt über die Straße direkt ein Einkaufszentrum mit Supermarkt. Danke !

Amazing apartment in the heart of old Funchal. Close to all the major attractions. It has everything you need for your stay. Super comfortable living room and bedroom it also boasts 2 complete bathrooms. I highly recommend.

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

We really enjoyed our stay in Madeira. This was the perfect home base for exploring the island. This home was amazing; larger and greater than expected. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring. I would definitely recommend this to others and would love to stay here again!

Gorete and her daughter Joana made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, and a fantastic view towards the sunset from the balcony. We're very keen hikers and were pleased to find two beautiful levada walks very close by.

Es war alles da, was man benötigt. Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll und sauber. Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet.

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

Au top !! Nous avons passé quelques jours dans ce logement et nous l'avons trouvé super. Communication facile et rapide. Logement propre, grand et avec tout le nécessaire (machine à laver, lave vaisselle et même des petits gâteaux de bienvenue) Idéalement situé dans un endroit très paisible et proche de plusieurs points de notre voyage. Avec une vue imprenable et un stationnement pour notre voiture. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet endroit ! Encore merci !

Notre séjour à Camara de lobos s'est très bien passé. Beaucoup de restaurants à proximité, très belle vue, agréable pour des balades à pied, bien situé pour rayonner sur toute l'île. L'appartement est très propre et très bien équipé. Le seul point faible est la difficulté de circuler dans la rue car très étroite et virage dangereux pour des novices comme nous qui connaissons peu les routes montagneuses et raides, qui possédions un véhicule assez imposant ( Nissan Juke ). Avec un véhicule plus petit, c'est plus facile et c'est possible de se garer devant l'appartement. Très bon séjour.

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

Bernardo and his wife are very warm and helpful hosts who make you feel very welcome. I was even greeted with a typical Madeira cake and mangoes from their own tree. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and the accommodation has everything you need. The house is a bit noisy, but if you are a light sleeper you can help yourself with earplugs. I would highly recommend the accommodation and would come back at any time.

We were very happy with our stay in the apartment — everything matched the description. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen where you can cook proper meals, the parking space, and the lovely balcony with a great view of the city. Carlos was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

This was a lovely place! Private, clean and surrounded by cute banana farms. The place was even better than the photos! Very clean and the host was there to help us out with whatever we needed. You can’t beat the views from all angles of the property! Only downside is that it’s up a mountain and it takes a while to get to Funchal for food. However, not a problem because there was Uber and Bolt available all the time. I LOVED staying here and will recommend to anyone going to Madeira. If you have a car, there was always parking available. The pool was also a bonus! Thank you Daniela!! :)

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We had a truly wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you, Mariana and Ricardo, for a memorable stay!

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!
