House vacation rentals in Cameron County

The pictures were beautiful, but seeing is believing. A comfy lake house with anything you could ask for. clear instructions, a manual with the house rules and instructions for check out. The bottom floor has ample room with a bar area, access to the back yard and beautiful views of the late. Having a laundry room was a great touch. The ground floor, where most of the rooms were located, has a family room with board games, ample space for sitting, eating with a group and cozy for watching movies. I was extremely impressed that they had a PS3 with Little Big Planet, we played that for hours after dinner. I highly recommend this beautiful home by the lake and will book again when I’m in town next season.

Great private location and spacious house. Loved the fact that it was in a gated community, made the stay feel safer. Enjoyed the weekend away with my family of six who all fit comfortably in the house!

Paul’s place was the perfect size for our weekend with friends. We had one concern, and Paul was quick to respond and take care of it. We were disappointed to see that the lake was drained, but that was just our unfortunate timing of our trip. I would recommend the home as it is a great value for the price.

A great stay for a family! Was a great spot for a big group. Kitchen has great amount of pots, pans, dishes. One note — the backyard area is not fenced in, and while neighbors are friendly, there is a lot of free roam space so keep an eye on dogs and kids. Very comfortable space for a family to spend time together.

The house has everything you need! Including spices and such for cooking which is huge when traveling, it makes things so much easier! The space is inviting and gives you tons of things to do! Including family games! Would definitely recommend! Kim was very kind and responsive!

Kayla is a great hostess! Accomodations were wonderful for our family. Love the location of the house and it is well stocked with everything you need . Seen a lot of elk, even from the window in the house. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks again for the great weekend! Sandi & Mark

Jeff and Tara are amazing hosts. Everything went perfectly as planned and they answered my several messages about finding elk quickly which was very much appreciated. Yes we saw a herd of Elk and only stayed one night as we were passing thru. Great place to stay.

Great place to stay, was perfect for our family!

The house was exactly as described. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and just hanging out on the porch. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfy. We are hoping to visit again.

This property was perfect for a serene family getaway. It has stunning views, and wild life activity. Our host was very communicative, they provided safety gear for walks on the property, and local suggestions for activities.

The Nanny’s Nook is a wonderful place to stay at. The stream behind the house is very convenient for fishing. The kids caught a lot of fish and even the adults had a chance to catch some too. Lol. The neighbor was super kind. He even brought us over firewood. This is our second time back to the Nanny’s Nook and it won’t be our last. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and being so responsive.
