This property that’s hosted by Bryan, Dan, and Holley, is one of the best properties to experience on air bnb. The hosts have many amenities that guests can utilize like a hotub, fenced in backyard for pets, washer/dryer machines, and cornhole. Bicycles are also free to use. Overall this property provides exactly what a large family or group of people would expect and enjoy.

The place was great! Super close to the beach and other attractions in Kill Devil Hills. Very clean and spacious, perfect for a couple traveling with a pet. One thing to keep in mind if you’re traveling like us and flying in to the area, you will need to stop and pick up toiletries, beach items and anything else you may need. The part of the listing that says only bring your toothbrush and clothes was a little misleading as neither of those items are provided. We ended up renting beach chairs and an umbrella and stopping at Walmart, so it all worked out ok. Also note, it’s a little darker than the pictures show and you have to be conscious of having the windows open since the outdoor spaces are shared/common with other guests. Overall, great for a beach weekend!!

We had a wonderful stay over the winter holidays and found the house to be very well fitted out and quite cozy. There's easy access to the beach on this quiet block of Southern Shores, and we were sorry to leave even after two full weeks. We highly recommend this cottage. Lots of historic OBX charm, and the host and crew couldn't have been more accommodating.

We had a wonderful peaceful break from life in kitty hawk. The cottage was clean and quiet and well provisioned for a home. The area was close (less than 5 minute drive) to the beach. It was convenient to restaurants, parks and shopping. A great place for a get away.

I really enjoyed my stay at Maureen‘s house. It’s on a nice quiet street in a good part of town and close to Elizabeth city and things you may want to do there. Love the big backyard for my dogs. Beds were super comfortable. I felt right at home and will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area.

I can't say enough great things about this place. Amy was so accommodating and flexible. She really thought of everything when stocking her house for guests. We needed a couple of things during our stay and she provided immediately. The house is unbelievably cozy and clean. Dog water bowls, towels, and toys were available, too! We can't wait to stay again!
