Peaceful countryside hideaway near Saffron Walden

Escape to this loft in open countryside; just over an hour from London, and close to Cambridge, this is the perfect spot to unwind. Rural walks on your doorstep, a covered barbecue area and a village pub down the lane. Wander the gardens and soak up the green while staying green yourself- this flat is powered by solar panels. In the cart-shed there is a covered outdoor dining area with chimera; as well as space to park and leave boots and bikes. We are a non-smoking/vaping premises. Pet fee£15

Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

Our isolated shepherd’s hut is a cosy place with a large spacious shower and a comfortable king size bed. Recently fitted yet with some antique features. It has a private river view with its own private picnic table on the river too. There is a large garden area and private mooring. A porch area at the front and a cosy kitchen area to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...we provide toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave and there’s a fire pit on request and a local Tesco very close by.

Luxury Lodge situated on Golf & Leisure Complex

This lovely, brand new, self catering lodge is set within 150 acres of beautifully landscaped and quiet grounds of the Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club. The leisure facilities on offer include - an indoor pool a sauna a steam room a well equipped gymnasium an 18 hole golf course The facilities are usually available at an additional charge payable at reception. Photo #17 is an example of the Swimming Pool Timetable. Please note that Family Swim sessions MUST be booked 1 week in advance.

Foxton House Cottage

Beautifully refurbished cottage in the grounds of Foxton House, a 19th Century Georgian estate. The cottage is separate from the main house which is set in 4.5 acres of garden. Cambridge is ten minutes away by train, one stop from Foxton station; London is about one hour. Nearby attractions include several good country pubs in surrounding villages, lovely walks, Shepreth Wildlife Park, the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Wimpole Estate, Granchester, and Cambridge City with its many attractions.

High-spec self-catering converted stable (Chino)

Chino is a high-spec, self-catered, stable conversion with a Visit England 4 Star Gold Award. Access to outdoor swimming pool, hot-tub, gym, outdoor seating, and a boules pitch. Set in a great location (7 miles from Cambridge) in the beautiful village of Barrington with the picturesque village pub, the Royal Oak, just 5 minutes walk away, with a great network of walks and bike rides from your doorstep. Unfortunately we cannot take children, but we welcome well-behaved dogs (sorry no cats).

The light filled space features exposed beams, white washed walls and charming rustic details. Enjoy garden views through large floor to ceiling windows and curl up in deep-seated armchairs by the wood burning stove. Although the characterful market town of Stamford is only 10mins away, you’ll feel a million miles away from the outside world.

There is also a private fishing platform for those keen fishermen, or why not follow the nature trail for a relaxing walk, for the more energetic there is a fully equipped gym/pool.
