Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

We loved our stay at Vicky's place and didn't want to leave!! Was exactly what we were after for our stay and so relaxing to retreat back there at the end of our busy day.

This is our family’s third stay at Charlotte’s and we hope it won’t be our last! Our family feels very comfortable staying here and can’t rave about it enough. There is everything you need, it’s a great location and Charlotte is amazing as a host and communicator. We are so grateful that Charlotte has had us back time and again.

Great to stay again at Matt's place. Lovely and welcoming, cozy and comfortable, beautiful decor, comfy beds, everything you need. This was our second stay in 2 years and we loved it. We will certainly stay again.

Great house in the country close enough to Matamata without feeling distant. Clean and tidy space and perfect for animals and young kids. Had everything we needed for our stay.

I had such a wonderful stay at this cozy house! The host was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is just perfect—so close to the beautiful Hamilton Lake and downtown. I highly recommend this lovely place! A big thank you to Alyssa for your amazing hospitality!

This was my second stay at Matt’s place and just as before, the perfect place to stay in Hamilton. The house is so cosy, clean and comfortable. Lovely decor and so spacious. I will miss listening to the birdsong with a coffee in the morning. Matt is a fantastic host who is warm, friendly and responsive. I will absolutely hope to book again when I return to NZ. A lovely tranquil place to visit. Easy check in and everything as expected. Katrina was quick to respond to our queries and extremely helpful. Perfect place for our needs.

My wife and I booked Gabby's and Chris's home (who move out during these rentals), to host a family reunion. We were 3 families, so 6 adults, 1 teenager, and 4 small children. Set in beautiful Kiwi countryside it was super safe for the children. A long drive to a large parking area, was ideal for grandchildren to ride bikes and wheeled toys. Beautiful extensive gardens to roam. The house is spacious, with correct bedrooms, 2 tv areas, & 3 tables big enough for all of us to sit down together (inside, outside deking, & pool area). Chris advised to move the outside tables around for sun or shade as required. The pool was large and clean, fantastic, and essential in the sub tropical climate of the Bay of Plenty. Communication and cooperation with Gabby and Chris was excellent, both before and during our 3 week stay. I believe Whakamarama may be for sale later this year, so holiday now, or an ideal opportunity to acquire this beautiful property either as a home or rental opportunity.

Had a fabulous stay at Inger’s!! Our kids loved the indoor pool table, dart board and basketball hoop - plus the pool and hot tub, they didn’t want to leave! Nice private and secure location, beautiful surroundings and had all the items we needed for a great break!

Just want to thank Rachael for opening up her home to accommodate my husband and his brothers. The home was lovely and they really enjoyed their time there. Rachael was awesome to communicate with. Highly recommend Rachael's home and if we get the chance we gladly book through her again. Over all an amazing experience.

Wonderful spot with an amazing view. Lots for the kids to do, Flint was a hit, as was the fire pit, pool, spa and creek. Checked our eel trap as we left and caught (and released) an eel, memorable end to a lovely family mini break. Thank you Yana.

Our big family had a great stay at Nathan’s place over the Easter weekend. There was lots to do including a hot tub, pool, dartboard, tennis court and games. Best yet, it is also home to lots of sheep and some chickens! During our stay we were able to enter the chicken coop and pick fresh eggs in the morning! Very lovely home and 100% would go back again.

We had an idyllic home away from home experience. Friendly owners, respectful of guests and quick to assist if required. The property was the perfect getaway, the gardens so beautiful, outdoor area to sit and watch rabbits and quail dashing around the grounds. Hope to stay again. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for the stay. Great property for a big group. Our group wasn't so but enjoyed the stay nonetheless. Our staff onsite enjoyed there time there, only wishing that it wasn't for a work trip so the many luxuries on offer could have been enjoyed more. I needed a place that was peaceful and would allow me to recover and this beautiful cottage provided me with that and more. With a beautiful view from every window and the only sounds being the bird song and the breeze in the trees, it was a perfect place for me to re-energise and refuel. I highly recommend this cottage and the care of the hosts. There was also a much appreciated bag of fresh fejoas and apples - truly spoilt!

We stayed here for a month as were moving to the local area - we couldn't have picked a better Air B and B!! Ruth and Regan were the most amazing hosts. The location is idyllic, close enough to everything you need a short but calm and beautiful surroundings. It is well equipped, clean and spacious. Ruth and Regan checked in regularly with us to make sure all was okay and to answer any questions we had about the place or the local area, and are super friendly and gracious hosts. They were also very accommodating with allowing us to stay with 2 pets that had travelled from the UK with us. Having morning coffee outside whilst listening to the zoo animals nearby is such a treat! We will recommend to any friends and family that visit us. A perfect place to stay when exploring Hamilton and the Waikato region!

Patricia’s place looked beautiful in the photos, but it completely exceeded our expectations. Tucked among the trees, the location is stunning — peaceful, quiet, and full of natural charm. The cabin itself is cosy, stylishly decorated, and well-equipped with everything you could need. We especially loved the spacious outdoor area, perfect for playing games and running around with our kids. A truly relaxing stay — we highly recommend it.

The hobbit hole was magic! Exactly what I needed. The more time you spent there the more you realised how much time and thought had been poured into it. Sheryn was so warm and friendly, going out of her way to pick me some fresh fruit! Would love to return at some point! Would highly recommend to anyone who needs some time out.

We had a comfortable 4 nights at Steve’s place. Enjoyed the lake views and garden, kitchen was well equipped and ease of access to the lake.
