Just an absolutely lovely hospitable lady, who owns a very beautiful lakeside home with a gorgeous little private space apartment she is able to share :) Susan was incredibly easy to deal with from the beginning and am glad we were able to meet her. The apartment is all it is described as, and we were very glad we chose it over an unattractive motel room for the two nights we were there. The location for what we needed, could not have been more perfect. As mentioned by others, the little touches of home kindness in an immaculately presented apartment with everything you could possibly need, was very much appreciated; and thank you Susan for being there when we needed you with our queries. What a gem of a find and will highly recommend to others.

This was our favorite stay while in NZ. I wish we could have stayed another night or two. The view is nothing short of amazing. I love that they have their own glowworm grotto. There are a few other rentals on the same property but you don't feel like you are lacking in privacy at all. You can tell how detail oriented the hosts are. As we were shown to the tent, Angus noticed a light bulb that was starting to flicker in one of the lamps. He immediately came back with a replacement. He had the tent pre-warmed as well for our arrival as it was a tad chilly outside. The bathroom had a heater mounted on the wall too. The only downside I could muster is that it's a little bit out of the way, but it is SO WORTH IT. I hope Rachel and Angus continue with Te Tiro for years to come so that we can bring our kids in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The apartment and hot tub were incredibly private and peaceful surrounded by beautiful greenery. Everything inside was spotless and comfortable, the place had lots of amenities. Heather is an exceptional host - super friendly and generous leaving treats for our arrival which was a very lovely touch! Thanks for a brilliant stay ☺️

This Airbnb was awesome! Me and my girlfriend booked with Jill for the night as we had a Glowworm Kayak trip in the afternoon and was only 15min drive away. We were both amazed at what a lovely place it was. It was also walking distance (100-200m) to the river with the Podium Café alongside it. 10/10 we would definitely come back to stay again and recommend to others who are doing a similar activity or just taking in Karapiro. We really appreciated the hospitality and it felt like home away from home. Thanks Jill :)

Superb stay. Stunning cottage and absolutely immaculate. Wayne and Kim were so helpful to accommodate us (including our 19 year old daughter who decided to join us at the last minute)! We feel lucky to have found this stay and extremely grateful. Location is fantastic - right beside the lake and an easy walk into town centre.

Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

We had an awesome stay at Nick’s Airstream! It was clean & cozy and had everything we needed — good quality stuff too. Nick was quick to respond whenever we had a request. Our kids had the best time hanging out by the campfire at night. It was also really cool to find out the Airstream was shipped from the Bay Area, where we’re from. Made it feel even more special. Would totally recommend staying here!

Everything at this property was beautiful! The bed was comfortable & everything was incredibly clean. Details such as coffee, milk, & light breakfast were appreciated. The host even left a special treat for us. The property had its own unique charm….with artwork, well maintained living plants, and an exceptional private backyard space—that was perfect to relax & unwind from a busy day. Lake Rotoroa was easily walkable, but walk to city center/riverwalk/reataurants was about 30 minutes by foot. Overall, would highly recommend staying here! We hope to return again soon.

We have stayed at this house twice now while visiting family in Hamilton. The house is in the perfect location, very central with great views. Parking is challenging if you have a larger vehicle, but shouldn't be a problem for a smaller car. Will definitely be coming back!

We were so thankful to land at Ksenia’s place - absolutely gorgeous view of the lake and the home was perfect for our families first 2 weeks in NZ. The kitchen is very well stocked. There are 2 heat pumps which made it very comfy in the warmer evenings and the windows all open to allow the air flow as well. We were thankful for the washer and dryer and the security. It is rather exposed to everyone walking/running around on the path around the lake, but we found we enjoyed hearing people chatting a families laughing as they passed and the window coverings provide a ton of privacy when you want that as well.

Gavin’s house is brand new, very spacious and well appointed. Gavin was great host and super responsive. The house is an easy 10-15 min drive to the center of Hamilton. Came with a couple of friends to watch the cricket and the place was totally ideal for what we needed! Thanks for a great stay

Garys place is in a beautiful location and has wonderful views of the lake, the jetty and lake access was a real bonus. The bedroom and bathrooms set up were perfect and decorated really nicely, good wifi if you want it too and walkable to the main jetty area and town. thank you also for allowing us to bring our little dogs, it made for a wonderful holiday.

WOW!! 5-star Airbnb with a 10-star host!!! Absolutely stunning, clean and well-equipped unit.
