Castelluccio house This is a comfortable, roomy house in a beautiful green setting. It has large windows and a big front patio, full of flowers, overlooking the mountains and the valley below. It’s in a totally quiet rural setting, only 10 minutes drive into town. It’s one of the most peaceful settings we’ve stayed; it was wonderful to sleep so deeply. One issue to be aware of is the heating system (it was still chilly when we were there in early May). It’s good if you are familiar with making fires in a fireplace or wood stove, as this actually heats water pipes that control the radiators in the rest of the house. This is a property that shows the care and love of the owners, and the host is very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Franco è un host davvero eccezionale, lui e la moglie ci hanno accolto benissimo e ci hanno fornito tutti i dettagli della casa in maniera minuziosa. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana piacevolissima all'insegna del relax, e la loro casa è un piccolo angolo di paradiso per chi cerca pace e tranquillità. Siamo già in procinto di riorganizzare un'altro week end presso di loro.

L’appartamento è bello e funzionale, vicinissimo al centro. Pino (il padre di Ivan) ci ha accolto con grande cortesia, ci ha anche regalato 4 uova del contadino, e poi ci ha dato consigli su dove mangiare. Il paese è molto bello e tranquillo. Senz’altro da consigliare.

Probabilmente una recensione non è abbastanza per raccontare quanto Alessia e la sua famiglia ci abbiano fatto sentire a casa! La loro è un'accoglienza molto speciale, fatta di autenticità, supporto sincero e generoso, qualità rare di cui ci sentiamo estremamente grati e fortunati. Casa del ciliegio è il posto ideale per muoversi da Teana ai dintorni e godere di un soggiorno tranquillo e familiare, che ti fa venire voglia di tornarci, anche soltanto per rivedere gli splendidi host che abbiamo conosciuto. Consigliatissimo, senza ombra di dubbio. Grazie di cuore!

Had a great stay in Matera and the view from the apartment is amazing - great by day but even more so at night. It is also well located in that it is just inside the old town, but not too far from the paid underground car parks if you are driving, so we didn't have to wheel our bags too far, plus there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away. Would recommend Matera as a place to visit and also Giovanni's apartment as somewhere to stay.

Wow!! Absolutely stunning! I wouldn’t recommend staying anywhere else. Accomodation was the best we have had so far in Italy. Absolutely beautiful.
