We had the amazing opportunity to stay at Luz Maria’s place and what a treat it was! Such a cute house in a friendly village, we feel very lucky to have had the experience. We recommend the tamales that they sell in the square and also cenote cancun nearby, it has a diving platform and the kids didn’t want to leave!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Tizimín! The house is as described—spacious, clean, and full of charm. The pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the main square with easy access to restaurants and shops. With well-equipped kitchens, comfy rooms, and thoughtful touches, this place truly has it all. A great experience!

Muy lindo el departamento, es tal cual lo muestra en las fotografías, tuve buena comunicación con ambos anfitriones estuvieron al pendiente en todo momento, sin duda volvería a hospedarme en la casita del bosque 🌳

It was a truly peaceful and beautiful place. I hadn’t have such a peaceful sleep for a long time hearing all the birds and the jungle. The place is loved and very well taken care of, very clean too. And the hosts and staff are just super nice you feel at home straight away. It is just a very special place and I hope to come back very soon!

La habitación estaba impecable, con una decoración acogedora y todos los detalles bien cuidados. La cama era comodísima, y me encantó despertar con la luz natural entrando por la ventana. Además, el anfitrión fue muy atento y dejó algunas recomendaciones locales que hicieron mi visita aún mejor. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme allí.

Staying at Hacienda Kancaba was a dream. We planned an intimate wedding ceremony during our stay for 10 close friends and family, sight-unseen. The property is otherworldly, impossible to describe aside from saying there is certainly no other place like this on earth. Our guests flew in from many places and were annoyed by the drive from Cancun to Espita until we arrived at the property. After that, zero complaints. This is way off the beaten path, a portal to another era, frozen in time in idyllic surroundings. I kept thinking to myself: I cannot believe we get to occupy this gorgeous home; anything relatively similar in the US would be viewed from behind velvet ropes for an entrance fee. It is like if you could rent Monticello… And for whatever it’s worth after all the rest of that sincere gushing, pictures do this place zero justice. It’s ten times as pristine and beautiful in real life. A gem. I expect that I will never see anything else like it in my life.
