Welcome to Naust ( Norse for a small building by the sea) , where the main event is the spectacular uninterrupted sea view over the Sound of Mull, closely followed by the beautiful, bespoke tiny house, hand-built by a local craftsman with stylish interior and superb quality fixtures and fittings. You'll find everything at Naust that you need to make this your perfect escape, from a fully equipped kitchen, wireless speaker & radio, picnic basket, superking bed, fluffy towels and a huge shower !

Beautiful, fully equipped Shepherds Hut.

Muin Shepherd Hut is complete with: 2kw Shower (2 minutes of hot water/5 minutes to re-heat) toilet, sink, Belfast sink, fridge, ceramic hob, Air Fryer, underfloor heating, wood burning stove, TV, Double bed with King size duvet, large decked area, enclosed private garden (dog friendly) and views over to the Isles of Mull and Coll and onwards out over the Atlantic Ocean. Throw in the odd sea eagle that visits us, red deer abound, pine martins, otters and the dolphins playing off the pier!!

Secluded shoreline artist's bothy

Situated on a Woodland Croft on the shores of a sea loch, this beautiful timber bothy was conceived as a getaway for artists and creatives looking for peace in an inspiring landscape. It's also ideal for kayakers or walkers. The bothy is next to the host's artist’s studio which it is possible to see by arrangement. With rocky coast and woodland behind, and the sea almost lapping at the front door, this simple but stylish bothy has everything you could need for the most restful of breaks.

Isle of Mull. Kilninian Cottage

Newly renovated traditional crofters cottage with new fixtures and fittings throughout. Kilninian cottage is located on the Isle of Mull's west coast in a lovely rural setting, with dramatic views over Loch Tuath, Isle of Ulva, and Gometra and the summit view of Ben More. A ten minute walk will take you to the local beach Traigh na Cille , and Calgary beach 15 mins by car. The hills and woods give endless walks and places to explore, surrounded by local wildlife .

Fairwinds Cabin, Isle of Mull

Our cosy larch grass roofed cabin situated within a working croft in the Ross of Mull is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. With views across Staffa & the Treshnish Isles, you can watch the sun rise over Ben More and set over Lunga from the comfort of the sofa. We’ve ditched the mod cons with no TV, wifi & phone signal and replaced them with good old fashioned boardgames, a great stack of books and selection of old & new vinyl for the record player.

You'll love this unique space in the heart of Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan. 10 minute drive from one of the most spectacular beaches in Scotland - Sanny Bay, 10 minute walk to Kilchoan Pier that hosts daily ferries to Mull, Tobermory and is also the Staffa island and fingal cave tour pick up, 15 minute drive to the most westernly point of the U.K mainland - Ardnamurchan lighthouse and a 20 second walk to Kilchoan hotel for a tasty dinner and refreshing drinks

Stunning remote cottage by the sea and mull

Mill House Steading is a contemporary conversion of a historic barn into a 2 bedroom architect designed home. The balcony overlooks the burn with views across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. See countryfile series17 episode 7 to see the beauty of the landscape around us. The bay is perfect for watersports. The renovation was completed in March 2020 and provides stunning accommodation.

Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
