House vacation rentals in Caledonia County

The property was just as pictured, and absolutely gorgeous. Cory was very responsive and courteous, we really appreciated the local suggestions and his responsiveness. It was very hard to leave, the home in Plainfield/calais felt very comfortable and of course, breathe-taking beautiful. It can be a trek to get supplies and things, but it’s the Vermont countryside, just plan ahead and you’ll be fine. All in all, an incredible experience. Thank you

We had a great time staying with Bill and Nancy. The house was spotless, exceptionally well-equipped if you want to cook for yourself, and was a very homey spot for our family celebration. The location was beautiful -- right by the river -- and was convenient to most any adventures you'd want to undertake in the Northeast Kingdom. Only note: the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and would pose problems for people with mobility challenges.

Cozy ski in ski out condo right at the lower mountain lift. Lisa’s place was clean, easy to find and provided excellent access to the great skiing that Burke Mountain has to offer. Bonus feature was being able to watch the snow-cats work on the mountain trails at night. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Joe's place last weekend! The location was great (right at the base of Burke mountain) and easy to drive into town or hop over to some of the mountain biking trails. Joe was extremely friendly and responsive and wanted to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Michael's home is just perfect. Clearly they put a tremendous amount of thoughtful consideration into the design and decoration of their home. It has everything you need and is charming and comfortable. We can't wait to stay again!

Karen was incredibly nice and very clear on check-in and check-out instructions. plow driver was there first thing every morning cleaning the driveway and the house is very cozy. We hope to come back at a warmer time and enjoy everything the place has to offer! Thank you to Karen for sharing her home and being a great guest!

Right from the time we booked the reservation, Kristin communicated well with us. The check-in procedure was pretty accurately described. The house is beautiful, and the views are stunning. There were eight of us visiting, including our dog and Kristin was kind enough to get us a crate for a dog. She had all the necessary amenities stocked up. We love to stay there and we recommended to everybody, including families with pets and kids.

Mikenna's home is just perfect in all ways!! As soon as you walk through the door it is welcoming and tranquil. A place to unwind and spend time with family is what we were looking for and with Mikenna's beautiful home, that is what we found. All spaces were clean and fresh and the property grounds allow you multiple spaces to enjoy nature! You are sure to enjoy your stay and Mikenna is attentive to make sure if anything comes up, she is responsive and helpful.

We booked this airbnb last minute and were very happy. The location was off the beaten path and a great place to get our dogs out to play and run after we spent a day riding at kingdom trails. It was private and the perfect place to disconnect and recharge for a few days! Michael was super communicative and responsive. Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely book this again if it is available on our next trip to the NEK.

Chelsie’s place was great! We were 6 people and were very comfortable. It’s well situated for riding Kingdom Trails.

This is a beautiful home in an idyllic area of the Northeast Kingdom!! Cozy, spacious, intimate, well appointed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had an incredible stay here, so much so that we have already booked our next trip! The house is quiet, private, centrally located, well stocked, and clean! Truly can’t recommend this space more! *just remember to pack shower amenities as they are not provided*

A perfect cabin for an escape from the city!! My friends and I have annual cabin trip, and this was by far the best cabin we’ve stayed in since our tradition began. Kim (and Jim!) were very responsive, proactive with information, and amazing to coordinate with.

Burkeview is a wonderfully cozy cabin in the peaceful countryside of the Northeast Kingdom. It was exactly what we were looking for -- a quiet location close to the NEK hiking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed mornings on the porch in the sunshine with mountain views. We also found the kitchen well-supplied with everything we needed to cook meals (spices included!). The bed was very comfortable, the Internet was plenty fast, and we enjoyed the extra conveniences of being able to use the washing machine and park in a garage. On top of all that, Terry provided a thoughtful welcome gift of fresh-baked zucchini bread and maple syrup. We so loved our stay and would absolutely come back when we return to the area.

We had an incredible stay at Dunbar’s house. The house itself is up a hill off the main road and feels very quiet and remote. If it is winter, you will need AWD to get up the snowy driveway. The house itself was wonderful and had a very cozy atmosphere with a nice fireplace. It is only a 4 minute drive to Hill Farmstead Brewing, 8 minutes to Jasper Hill Farms (cheese), and a few minutes to Nordic ski trails in Greensboro. We loved the house for our cozy winter retreat and we would absolutely stay here again

Very cute old farmhouse with just the right amount of upgrades to make it comfortable without losing charm. Good location close to East Burke. It snowed for our Thanksgiving stay making the place super cozy (but we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace). Bathrooms are huge!

Katie’s place was a great spot for a fall trip with friends. The cabin is well-appointed (including extra blankets for being cozy as the weather was getting cold!), especially the kitchen and plenty of outside furniture for maximizing enjoyment of the surroundings. We ate most of our meals outside looking at the pond and did some wonderful stargazing from the deck! We loved having access to the kayaks, and the wheeled kayak carriers made it super easy even though you do have to walk a few minutes to the boat launch. The only down side was that the campground down the road got a little noisy some nights, but otherwise this was a great, peaceful, beautiful spot for us to get away. 10-15 minute drive from grocery stores and restaurants, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. Katie was super helpful and responsive as well. Would recommend!

It's an absolutely adorable cabin surrounded by beautiful Vermont woods! Just a short drive from the main road, the cabin is accessible but private, very well kept, and tastefully furnished! It's also situated close to the quaint towns of Burke and Brighton, and is a 20 min drive from the scenic Lake Willoughby and Mount Pisgah. Manisha is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome!

Wonderfully comfortable and well-appointed home that is large, but is cozy for two also! This is our second stay in past six months and that should attest to how much we like the place.

We loved the beautiful cabin onLake Parker !! It was quiet, peaceful & cozy. The bed was cozy. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook your own meals. We loved the open kitchen and livingroom space. We enjoyed sunsets in the evening and watching ducks and geese. This place is lovely.

Jenn and Brian were wonderful hosts and their place was absolutely perfect for my weekend trip with friends to catch up and get away. The property was very calm and peaceful and wandering the various trails up behind the house made for a fun afternoon. We did have a little bit of rain come our way but luckily the house was ideal for relaxing and we were able to enjoy some board games we brought and the very cool projector that they have! I'd totally recommend this spot and will definitely be back!
